It's responsible for huge capital flight from this country
After being nationalized, it would be mismanaged and it will become history like NITEL

Wow, first time I'm hearing of a Nigerian man being alcohol dependent. The average African man knows how to handle his drinks.
Anyway, if the story is true, fasting and praying wouldn't stop it. Your husband needs to go to rehab.
Growing up, you never saw men who were drunks? shocked

It seems you have never visited rehabilitation centres in psychiatric facilities in Nigeria and in some African countries, to see the reality on ground or even stand alone rehabilitation centres.

Hello!
Nairalanders, please I really need your advice. Am really afraid of marriage. Am already 37yrs this year! I keep postponing it. I earn average income from my business; atleast I can boost of 300k-400k per month. with this, I can take care of my wife and children..Unfortunately! Am afraid of marriage for the following reasons.
1) I have a believe that if I get married I will lose focus.
2) the fear of not achieving what I want to achieve in life.
3) am afraid of diverting from my main goal in life and focus on something else.
4) fear of marital issues that will make me lose focus and plan.
5) marrying to pretendous woman.
6) a lot more.
Please I need your advice
To avoid wife or baby mama wahala so you wouldn't lose focus, you can save up and approach a fertility clinic to arrange eggs and a surrogate mother who would carry your baby/babies to term.

After birth, you take custody of the child/children...you achieve fatherhood without being a husband or baby daddy.

Alcoholism is a disease of the brain, a diagnosable mental illness and sadly, there is a high rate of relapse among those who have even gone in for rehabilitation

The road ahead of you, is long and winding.

JeffreyJunior:
This is simple logic. If a man chykes a woman, he should first show her a table before asking what she is bringing to it.

Problem with awa burodas is that some of us don't even have a table but we dey ask ladies what they are bringing to it.

Ladies, if any man asks you that kwesion. Ask him to show you the table fess. cheesy

Be informed I don't date Nigeria girls. Direct your question to the SIMP men who waste their time dating Nigeria girls.
Not dating Nigerian girls is never an achievement, so look for something else to feel validated in life.

StrongAlphMale:
As expected.
A typical Nigerian girl. This is exactly how they think. What an Entitlement Mentality!
In conclusion, are you trying to tell us that apart from your over used pussy, a Nigerian girl has absolutely nothing meaningful and purposeful to offer a man in a relationship apart from sex?

Dear women,

It is good to have a business or a job before you start dating or talking about marriage. Because a woman without an income is more likely to say yes to a man she doesn't love, and spend the rest of her life existing instead of living. Go into marriage, not bondage.
Why do you and your likes, in the first place approach ladies who have nothing meaningful and purposeful to offer? Is it that you both have nothing to offer each other, except money and sex?

As a Nigerian you ought to know how to speak your dialect..its a taboo not to know how to speak your native dialect..the man from uk native's language is English and he knows how to speak it
What is the percentage of people born and living in urban areas in Nigeria, that is away from their state of origin, communicate confidently in their native dialect?

He keeps saying she is a small child.
Yes, she is a child but he needs to step up and work towards blending her into the family in a way that she will make her feel accepted because it is not easy for a child who is very conscious of the fact that the biological mother is still alive somewhere else.....there would always be comparison.

she doesn't bathe my baby, she wanted to bathe since i already boiled water for her i then asked that she should go and turn it. She went and carried the kettle upon all the space in the room she walked 2 where her sister was and crossed her head with it,the water spilled on her and the cry alerted me i quickly ran and held the kettle cos already she had let go and ran outside, see i have taken her for one on one counselling,so she can speak i have never said anything about her in her absence 2 anyone, what will i gain from hating her?they have counselled her but she just hasn't change,i don't beat her i caution her cos i understand that some people are just going to plant hatred in my home through her.

I am trying so hard to keep my family together but the way things are getting worse day by day, you know school teaches our children that chikd abuse is wrong and if they are at risk, they should report to the teacher. if one day my daughter has decide to report her mother to the school. Do you know that we are going to be at risk of losing all the children.

I rather act now before it get out of hand.
I understand your fears over the possibility of Child Protection Service having your children removed from your care, so I would suggest you look up for a grounded family therapist near you, so that you, your wife and the kids can sit down in a neutral setting and explore issues that are affecting relationships within the family and it is also a safeguard because it would help your case, should it escalate.

If u truely love ur bro, mode of invitation shouldn't stop u from going to his wedding.

There re some custom/believe that have phased out, we need to stop doing them.

Tell me, if u re invited to attend a summit at the White House in Washington D.C through whatsapp/mail, would u have taken an offence from that?
Offence fire! He would even go for Thanksgiving!

My issue here is, what is his purpose of creating a thread and hoping to get it to the frontpage over what he has already taken a decision on , does he want to be begged to attend his cousin's wedding or his cousin, insulted?

They did knocking and were given list...since he is always on outside duty and no chance it took a lot of months so he was ready but then his mum had been telling him that she is suspecting that she is pregnant, and since she admitted to it they used some of the list 2 claim his daughter traditionally...up till now her family still call him whenever they are doing something cos of the child. My pastor and church members convinced me but right now i know that u are on your own slang...d same people will be insulting me cos they expect money from me,money that i am still struggling 4...i don suffer oh but...e don build me i don think am taya and stories i read online about women who depend on their husband...me and me alone can write my future just me,hardwork, determination but my creator is the number one and way maker.
She is a child who is struggling. She is yet to integrate with her father's other family ( you and her half-sibling, your baby), just as with her mother's side with the children and step-father thus making her have 2 sets of half-siblings, a step-mother and a step-father...there is so much going in that kid's mind and a kid, I would have loved to journey with if I was on ground.

Was your husband ever married to her mother?
