The marriage has ended, the woman should go back to her family to have her baby while the man can go re-marry if he still wishes to be a married man.

I am not even concerned about the financial issues between them but the FACT that is she is 5 months pregnant and the husband felt at ease hitting her, not bothered it could lead to gynecological complications such as bleeding, premature birth or even killing their child (feticide).

The man is mentally not okay and has refused mediation, he would only calm down after he has caused irreparable damage and then blame it on the devil. It is high time Nigeria start having prisons within psychiatric hospitals like in the one I work in.
