On my op you quoted, I accused you guys of having amnesia and you just proved me right. My op you quoted says there isn't any change that both GEJ and PMB are the same but here you are asking me if Fulani herders terrorism rating has dropped. A simple definition of change that these unchanged characters bandy about is a situation whereby these pre-arranged killings by the killer herdsmen are not only curbed to the barest if not quelled completely and the killers being fished and punished as is only just. A total departure from the loose freedom of killing at will by the herdsmen just like under the repugnant reign of Jonathan. This isn't too much to ask of a serious government. |

OBAGADAFFI: 9 Mobile is far better than Glo in terms of QOS.
Glo might be offering big data, but it is usually extremely slow and unreliable. True. Bloated data, horrible browsing experience. They give data which you find practically impossible to use as data network is hardly available. Wonder if they guage their subscribers feedback to improve. |
Phones › Re: Why Globacom Badly Wants 9mobile; But May Not Get It - The Cable by mindtricks: 6:16am On Jan 01, 2018 |
babaolofin: I think the problem with glo is management. Glo is a tier 1 carrier company with Glo 1 submarine cable link. It thus implies that Glo problem is network design problem. Glo has Invested heavily with the 4G roll out involving Huawei. I stopped using Glo several years ago. People complained a lot about Glo. They should stop celebrity sponsorship & focus on their network. They don't deserve 9 mobile. Those advising Mike Adenuga are just using those investment to enrich their own pocket.
You find a lot of big boys & girls in Glo yet QoS is poor. Spot on @ the bolded. The bane of our lots, they hardly will give required attention to what really matters which is quality, not quantity, typical of the Nigerian story. Sad! |
Phones › Re: Why Globacom Badly Wants 9mobile; But May Not Get It - The Cable by mindtricks: 7:48pm On Dec 31, 2017 |
babaolofin: Firstly, the analysis of Glo becoming the largest network on acquisition of 9mobile is wrong. As a core telecom Engr, I know simple arithmetic or geometric progression cannot work here.
On acquisition, those customers who are already on Glo network & those that are displeased with Glo services are necessary minus to the cumulative customers base. Later, depending on the ability of Glo to improve her QoS, more customers may join or leave the network.
On internet network performance, they (MTN & Airtel)are all very disappointing. I stopped Glo long time ago. I use MTN as my first network but I am making this posting on Airtel my secondary link. I have faced frustration severally from both networks especially when I needed them most. This made me to load data on both networks & be running up &,down but MTN seems better.
If Glo acquires 9mobile I am not sure if 50% of 9 mobile subscribers would retain the line. Already, MTN is gradually creating a monopoly of the business with the acquisition of VGC Communication, lately Visafone & 21st century. Customers across Nigeria need fixed line number , for example in Lagos 01 - xxxxxxx , 09 - xxxxxxx, 084 - xxxxxxx which MTN acquires from Visafone is in high demand in Lagos, Abuja & PHC .
This cannot be said to be the case with 9 mobile. Any company acquiring 9 mobile should be ready to compete with MTN which will be a very tough battle.
I wish the winner best of luck Truth? All the networks suck especially in terms of data just like most things Nigerian suck, having had to load data on them all had them all disappoint at same time. Ironically, the same 9mobile proved to be ahead of others in terms of data service quality. |

We are being made to see this as normal as powers that be want to make us believe/it appear impossible to be stopped, so maybe the blood letting should continue afterall is there a government? Government only surfaces after the harm has been done, and it is time to embark on wasteful and wanton investigations that still will never yield any result nor bring any culprit to book. I wonder what governments exist for if they cannot sit up, and deal with these sorts of recurring decimals decisively. Nigeria has lose 3 jets in the fight against insurgency, 1 f-7 2 A-jet,aside from that the airforce has lost 2AUAV
talk about the 300 men of the Nigerian infantry unit that lost their live defending bama ?
or almost an entire battalion that got ambushed?
I know of a boy then(he was 21 or so then,I was only 16) he played ball together back in rukuba barrack ,His entire battalion died fighting in bama ,when we went to welcome the troops back home as the landed in Airforce run ways and transported to the barrack (Cinema centre) battaliond by battalions came out from the Big army luxury busses ,We search for naku, but no sight of him ,The soldiers that already came were cuddling with their wives and kids ,some familes, before they brought out coffins from the busses with Nigerian flag covered with it ,Many people who couldn't find their love ones broke down crying ,Some were patient enough to check the name written on the coffins, I and naku mother along side other boys from our block were checking in hope that naku name's not written in any ,Some one shouted ,I turned back to see naku's mother crying beside a coffin, sitting down on bare floor, My mind skip,I hurriedly went to see for my self ,private Naku danjuma ,I couldn't hold back the tears ,I cried more than the mother ,since then my view of the military changed.
we've lost many good men and women to this war,Yet the Nigerian public will rather spit on this than ignore Quite interesting. Yet how genuine and concerted can government's efforts be said to be. More of true picture and accounts of what is being done and is going needs to be communicated. Many soldiers have complained of being sent to the battle ground ill-equipped, while those at the top continue to loot and divert fund meant for the course. |

How A Nigerian Artiste Used A Lady To Catch His Phone Thief

This guy stole my phone on Sunday and dissapeared and he went ahead to pick my calls and afterwards turned the phone off , the next day I went in search of his number and I found it , and then I told a lady to call him after true caller told me his name is Abbey and the lady called him but he didn’t disclose his location but he was curious to know the lady calling so he kept calling and I told the lady not to pick the call, next thing he called with another number and I immediately checked for the number on Facebook and I found out the owner of that number is a lady schooling in Tasued so I decided to check her pictures , and also checked for the guy with the highest comment on her posts, then I waited for about three hours more before I called the number and I pretended to be the guy from her Facebook immediately she fell for the Trick and she disclosed her location Ijebu ode Tasued , Ijaagun, I had to travel immediately to Ijebu ode that same evening I got there at about 10, Pm and I went straight to their school Authority to file. A Report and i requested for Security Personnel to aid in getting the Arrested cos I know once I get the girl I ll get the guy too .
Thirty minutes later after proper documentation , I called the girl and she noticed my Voice was different from the person i told her I was so I told her it’s cos of the phone I was using to make the calls so she decribed her hostel On getting there I saw a very pretty Fair lady and I asked her not to be afraid if she co operates with me she ll have nothing to worry about , so I asked her for Abbey , and she said he already left for Abeokuta I was so pissed off I gave her a dirty slap (which I apologized afterwards for ) and I told her she is Surrounded , immediately the hiding security personnel showed up and they intervened too so we asked the girl who she is to Abbey she said she is his Younger Brother’s Girlfriend so I told her to get me His younger brother and she did immediately I told them to hand over their School ID cards and clearance cos they are final year students I begged them to call Abbey now and find out where he is without him suspecting anything so they did and he told them he was at the Hospital where his wife gave birth and no money yet to pay for her to be Released So They asked for the name of the hospital and they told him they were coming to give him money the next day , so he disclosed the hospital was somewhere in Olomore Abeokuta , so the cadet in Ijebu ode controlled the Ones in Abeokuta and they went Straight to the Hospital in Abeokuta to pick him up at about 12;35am at First he Denied but later when he found out about the Whole Scenario he Confessed and told them the Phone is in Ago Iwoye, he got locked up for that Night , the next day they took him to Ago Iwoye to get the phone and brought him back to Ijebu ode to me and asked what I wish to do to him , Then I told them I m not interested in taking him to Court , as long as I got my Phone back let him go For Free , then I told him Nigga When Next you Try to Steal I promise you , You Will Never Be This Lucky
