arresa: The man was indicted almost 2 decades ago and never brought to justice under 2 PDP administrations and they did nothing, no arrest, no trial and no jail. and it's this new administration that's keeping mum?
16 years of PDP did not have access to the so called white paper?
The looted funds belongs to the people of cross river state so why didn't they pursue the matter with arrest, trial and jail or even petition for action.
If there is such indictment and white paper, then this administration should move fast and act. Things are only getting more interesting jare. Looking forward to the next episode. |

Politics › Re: The Mercenaries Ojukwu Hired To Fight During The Biafra-Nigerian War (Video) by mindtricks: 4:29pm On Sep 26, 2016 |
gidgiddy: I've watched this video a number of times and the hypocrisy is mind blowing. I give props to Major Taffy Williams, my father fought alongside him on the Biafran side and he was a great motivator. It should be noted that mercenaries were used on both sides of the war, infact, Nigeria used far mor mercenaries than Biafra.
As Ojukwu rightly said in the interview "war is the price of freedom". Every war has one side that is fighting for freedom and another side that is fighting to take freedom away. When it comes to the Nigerian/Biafran war, every Nigerian knows which side was fighting freedom and which side was fighting to take that freedom away.
I'm happy that people like Gowon, Obasunjo, Buhari, IBB who all fought against Biafra and went on to be presidents are all still alive today. I'm happy that they all alive to see the faliure that same Nigeria has become.
Ojukwu has been vindicated, the Nigeria he fought againt turned out to be a monumental disaster, proving that Ojukwu was right to try and get him people out. Aren't you Igbo? |

Yes, it is a very welcome idea that in the face this recession we sell our National Assembly, especially this set who majority continually shout change but continue to deliver shame and poverty.
We should sell our National Assembly who keep getting paid fat amounts as if we are in a state of economic boom, they are our National Liabilities and are what we should sell, NOT sell our National Assets! |

The rising rates of crime in Lagos lately is very worrisome.
Even as the Lagos State govt gets busy chasing and arresting street hawkers, street areas boys are getting bolder going about their illegitimate businesses, picking pockets, snatching phones, and robbing unsuspecting people with broken bottles, matchetes, guns in places and points in time which they find convenient.
Wonder how long this will last before a radical response from govt and security agencies. |
