Buhari obviously didn't lose any one close to him to these demons otherwise his spirit of vindictiveness and vengeance wouldnt have been so forgiving. Don't mind them, boko haram killers and Lagos street pocket pickers are just the same and should be given exactly same kind of treatment when caught. |

Ex-boko haram murderers get unjustifiable relief, while Victims of Boko Haram murders get no justice. |

Proudly IPOB The climax of the distasteful nature of the Indonesian govt backed executions is the unsettled controversies over the culpability of some of those "found guilty". Sources from Indonesia have it that the government and courts were not thorough enough in prosecution and there is large scale corruption in the entire process. |

amc: Reason for the fight = Goodluck Ebele Jonathn losing an election. The man was there for 6 years, what did he do to improve the lot of his people? Zilch. Why are they not hating him but instead hating Buhari who has only been there for one year ? Whatever, fair is fair. The Niger Delta issue reeks of injustice. Wonder who even cares the m*ss the oil rich region has been, more than guaranteed steady flow of the oil wealth from there. Think, unlike Buhari who went to stir them, GEJ merely pacified the agitators, leaving the genuine core issues unattended. |

Kudos to the Armed Forces and Local Vigilantes for smoking out these Ijaw Militants that have been terrorising residents in the riverine communities of Lagos and Ogun state. Peace and safety shall return to our Creeks and Waterways in the South West. Strange how Ijaw militants will come attacking Lagos. Didn't Ijaw groups deny they're not part of it? |

bittertruthz: He is not innocent. Quote me anywhere. A black jew can never be innocent of drugs. If its terrorism, i will deny for him but for drug matter? NO WAY. Yes buddy, the bittertruthz is he is guilty just as Saro Wiwa was "found" guilty under Abacha's regime. You don't think issues demand complete thoroughness which is already being put in question here? If you don't have sufficient details on what transpired over there, needless swearing that the Indonesian courts and govt did their due diligence. Even here in Nigeria people are being punished for offences they didn't commit, let alone in a foreign land. |

TheGoodJoe: RIP Jefferson Humphrey Ejike Eleweke
Humphrey Jefferson Ejike Eleweke, Nigeria
Jefferson, then a restaurant owner, was arrested in 2003 after police found 1.7kg of heroin in a room used by one of his employees. He was sentenced to death in 2004 and had until this week declined to ask for presidential clemency as it would entail seeking forgiveness for a crime of which he said he was innocent. His lawyers say there is evidence that he was framed. These desperate killings of mostly foreigners under such cloudy circumstances often with hardly sufficient evidence whilst the the real Indonesian drug barons themselves roam free can best be described as lipservice and may be likened to Nigeria's FG style of rooting for boko haram foot soldiers while their sponsors remain forever immune. A case of drug offences where Indonesian government has zero tolerance and must kill the accused if "found guilty" , tolerance and room for such errors should at best be nonexistent, which unexpectedly is contrary to information gathered from sources from that same country. |

JFT24: That's also untrue. Because, a motor park in the north no matter what, the population of northerners either as driver or passenger, or probably casual people that make their living within the park will be far greater than that of the southerners quote me anywhere. We as Nigerians are just being hypocritical, The northerners are still counting the cost uptill now and only God know when it will end. You said they attack churches, be sincere to yourself, have you forgotten the fatalities in Maiduguri mosques, Kaduna Mosques, Kano mosques, Yobe Mosques etc We should just call a spade a spade, because trading blames will not get us anywhere. Nigerians as usual are quick to gloss over the points being raised. Can't vouch for the system over there. Unfortunate that Nigeria seem to have such a bad reputation that foreigners don't waste time to "find" us guilty. oluwaahmed: Ironsi did not create any mess, stop soundin unenlightened. Ask ur fadas & grandfadas wat happens dat day. Dey even blame ironsi 4 suppressin d coup because d 1st republic politicians were corrupt. Pple jubilated on d streets of lagos & nigeria wen dey head nzeogwu killed all d oligarchs dt held dis country hostage (ask & investigate dis fact) & celebrated his take-ova speech. Aguiyi ironsi was a true nigerian- d type u can neva find 2day. Ironsi was d reason 9ja is dis 2day because had nzeogwu killed of all dose politicians & exiled d ones left 9ja wld hav bn a better place. Ironsi was nt only d most superior military officer but was 1 of d most respected in Africa. Ironsi did not take ova power, power was handed 2 ironsi, I watched a video of him being sworn in! D mistake he made was belivin in "1" nigeria. 4 dose sayin he wasted time in executin d coup plotters, is 3 months too long 2 wait? D man was killed barely 3 months in office. Ok even if killin him can be justifiable, ow abt all oda SS/SE military officers dat were killed? Wats d justificatn? Mind u Ironsi was travellin round 9ja seekin 4 peace amongs dft regions & askin 4 time 2 stabilize d country b4 he was killed in ibadan. Aguiyi ironsi's death is d reason y 9ja is so messed up 2day. His death was orchestrated by d oligarchy dat nzeogwu had aimed 2 wipe out, thus leadin 2 indiscipline in d ranks & file. His death was so un-called 4 dt even a yoruba General (when yorubas still had prestige & was an enviable tribe in africa) resisted & followed him 2 d grave- fajuyi dint hav 2 go because he was told he wasn't deir mission(do ur research & challenge me). Aguiyi even crushed Isaac Boros resistance & self acclaimed Niger-delta independecne( it's was d NDELTANS dat initially gingered 4 seccession) in 7 days. D man was all for a one nigeria. Even wen ojukwu had warned him dat his moles intercepted a telegraph of his impendin coup, he brushed it aside as nuttin. He cldnt bliv "small boys" wld fall his hand. Mama sorry. Look @ d Brite side 9ja is still fvucked up 50 yrs afta his death, nutin changed. Infact Aguiyi ironsi has missed nutin only a cycle of corrupt politicians & military & a treadmill progression of d country You sound like a South Easterner contrary to your ID, seemingly unbiased though. |
