Darkseid learns of it in the end credits, then plans an invasi0n. That's how u wrap a superman trilogy.

M0st stories featuring , has her kidnapping and trafficking children to train for darkseid, and also has her selling apokoliptian tech to criminals. U can start with that and have lots of fight scenes while the relati0nship btw lois and clark and their job is explored.

Secondly this your angle sounds good but Superman isn't batman that goes around fighting thugs and solving crimes man, superman is known to always deal with planet level threats or above that's his Forte... a film of him beating up thugs without any real sense of him being in any danger or the risk of having common thugs have access to kryptonite...e no make sense

go watch the animatd show. Superman fights crimes. He did it in smallville. C0me on, he's an investigative reporter. n0t really. He didn't achieve anything aside killing superman. And even with supes dead, his legacy wasn't. H0nestly, i dnt get why batman hated supes in the film. They literally didn't show it. They just told us. And in story telling, just telling the audience than showing them is a negative prospect. The way the fight was resolved was t0o po0r that had bizarro being the villain, it'd have made sense, and that martha line would've been well executd.

d0omsday is mainly a plot device than a character. U can't have superman battling or on the l0ok out for a mindless beast all through 2 hourz. And then, using him means bringing into bear the death of superman which had bvs n0t d0ne it, would've been way to early. There's so little u can do with d0omsday, hence why he's used when the story is a character centre piece featuring lots of characterz. Using d0omsday in a solo supes film, makes it boring cos it means, lots of c0ncentrati0n on other characterz. That's why he's often brought into stories featuring the JL.
An0ther villain that'd work well in a m0s film is the cadmus organisati0n headed by amanda waller. And mind u, waller is often times a superman foe.
