That theme is cheesy and doesn't go with established continuity. But nothing is certain. I don't think he is in the film. Or maybe it was a last minute effort to hype the film. I will wait till it's out before raising my hopes up.

I'm a chartered accountant for instance if I leave my current employment because I want a bigger pay, I won't say it even if it's true. So if you're unhappy WB gave Snyder 70m to finish a movie he claimed was almost done, how are you gonna feel about the money that will need to be forked out to reshoot the Flash on the scale you're proposing....

This film is currently undergoing reshoots with the third act being reworked substantially, this comes in two parts: initial reshoots to collapse Keaton's directive and current ones to eliminate Ezra's because of his most recent arrest...

If you're suggesting making this a Batman film, then why call it the flash?
And how possible will that be considering the knowledge that Ezra plays multiple characters and is in a lot of the scenes (as much as 70 percent and above at least), how much has been sunk in so far and potential returns both financially and critically...

Snyder didn't spend 70 million shooting 2 scenes. If WB gave him that money to shoot 2 scenes then the management is dumber than I thought.

On the contrary, No. From what I heard, the test screening was so negative that WBD do not want the negative press from its release. And they thought it was better canceling it than promoting it with another million dollar only for it to bomb. Recall they still need to promote an Ezra Miller film and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
