The old swamp thing wasn't part of the DCEU, while the new one will, that's the reason for the change in characters.

But I read that the new Swamp Thing is going to feature some original cast and some new ones. This is one of the new ones.

The movie looks promising, but one thing I may have noticed and don't like is how Supergirl is harassing a whole General Zod.. I just hope the main movie turns out different. I think it is self explanatory. Kara didn't grow up with the Kent's. She grew up on Krypton and doesn't hold herself back. So she technically doesn't have any mental block holding her like Superman. she is not scared of fighting dirty. That's how she is in the comics I guess.

What I heard is, Liverpool are looking at Conor Bradley as the RB option. And putting Trent in Midfield has nothing to do with buying a RB. We have one in Joe Gomez. Klopp can tweak tactics but he doesn't want to. His rigidity cost us this season.

He was the one who helped Boehly buy Chelsea and also was part of the sale to FSG back in the day.

The Authority is arguably the most interesting project amongst all.
I didn't even know Midnighter and Apollo are members of The Authority.

It has all the hallmarks of greatly expanding the DC Universe and different approach towards superheroes.

It's a direct competitor to The Boys if not even more violent.

Why not make it live action?

Booster Gold fans finally jubilant all these years. I had a gut feeling that Gunn would include a couple obscure projects and Booster Gold might be among. I wasn't disappointed.

Swamp Thing swapping to a movie role is my happiest project amongst all. That character and his universe is too goated to remain in the shadows.

You know the best thing I love here ..... It's having actors reprise their roles both in animation and live action as well as the characters being the same personality but different medium. I've been ruminating about that idea for a while and wonder why no one has tried it.
It's good he brought this and add some layer of difference from the MCU.


It's a solid initial slate mixing both popular characters as well as lesser popular ones. Having the time to even include a couple animation project is plus. I must say I'm impressed with the slate.
Now hunting for actors, writers, producers and release dates is the next stage.

The arrowverse did something like that with Vixen animated series though.
