On paper is different from field play sometimes
Fluminense should’ve won against Dortmund, they were slightly better and missed chances
Inter Milan (recent European finalists o) couldn’t get a win against Monterrey (tickets burned)
If Sundowns get a draw against German giants Dortmund then to me I’d forget about our hopes of winning in South Africa
It’s not easy for African teams to rub shoulders with their European counterparts
that on paper thing only works for African giantism and African minnows….bros Dortmund will beat Sundown to to climb to 4points…This will just be like Nigeria at 2013 confederations cup…shining like bright star against Tahiti and turning to ekuke against Spain and Uruguay….Dortmund will overpower them….,they couldn’t beat Fluminense simply because the Brazilian team has almost same quality with most European decent clubs.

Na today we don dey see Africa and initial gra gra? especially when they meet and flog teams like Uzbekistan or Jordan at the world cup and then meet italy/spain/german and begin to shake like moi moi.

If Dortmund don’t get the W against Sundowns, we are in trouble o 🚶🏽‍♂️

Dortmund vs Sundown
Fluminense vs Ulsan

Dortmund go beat them,Fluminense go use goal statpad that ulsan

Mamelodi Sundowns lead 1-0 vs Korean side, Ulsan HD FC at HT.

They also dominate the possession at HT but both have bad same shots on target.
i know they disallowed 2 of their goals, it would have been 3-0….inspite of that, Sundown should be white-washing this Ulsan team with 5-0 or more…this 1-0 they are playing no follow at all….they will be meeting Dortmund(Bundesliga) and Fluminense(Brazilian league) next fixtures

We will qualify. How? I don't know but we will qualify.
the only way to qualify is
-fifa deducting from SA
-Nigeria winning 3games and maybe drawing 1
-SA, Rwa, Benin loosing and drawing some games

South Africa will be playing Mozambique in a few days time... Will post that too
its either super eagles 🦅 is no longer super or players dont wanna play to their qualities they represent in europe….if not wetin be Benin, Rwanda, Lesotho, Zimbabwe…omo things don spoil abeg….we supposed to be thinking of qualification with a game to spare by september…but just imagine

Though news has been debunked. I would say maybe the travel logistics to Uyo make it a bit more difficult. Direct international flights can get to Lagos (Abeokuta is close by) and of course Abuja. That would save time instead of having to hop on another domestic flight to get to Uyo.
2026 World cup qualifiers in uyo has been poor results upon poor results, we are yet to win a game in this qualifying series at that uyo stadium.
1-1 against Lesotho
1-1 against SA
1-1 against Zimbabwe

aahh omo next game will be against Rwanda in uyo and finally in October against Benin in Uyo wetin dey sup na uyo….i dont even wanna reason that Abuja own sef

I just watched our highlights with SA where we drew 1-1.

We are definitely going to beat them judging by the highlights though
aside 2019 Afcon, since 2017 we have always been coming close to beating SA, but we always unluckily fall to a draw.
-The (2016) 2-2 in uyo, musa was just throwing away so many one on one goals
- The(2018) 1-1 in Jo’burg, same nearly nearlt with so many clear cut chances, but we were just throwing them away..
-the (2024) finidi 1-1, same waste waste waste upon waste…..
Im not going to raise my expectations in september, b super eagles should be able to best them, whether dey are in form or not

Tolu is not like Onuachu or Sadiq who are languid and clumsy. He's like Agali, fast and strong. He should be second or third option for us. He's got it in him to give us goals
exactly , especially the game against Zimbabwe, the combined so well with Aina to make assist to Osimhen’s goal was superb…Tolu is engaging and always active

Osimhen should just go to Saudi League, and in september and october scores all our winning goals and eventually we qualify for world cup

He for no play for Nigeria 😂. When we are desperately looking for our own Salah, Drogba, Eto. For the first time in like a decade we are seeing a glimpse of such, you say Nigerians shouldn't talk about him 😂
omo i just dey laugh🤣🤣….how do some ppl expect ppl not to talk about Osimhen transfer gist?…..especially when we hear say our best player since after the days of Rashidi Yekini is heading to retirement league in his hot form days, amd dem say make we no talk…even if our opinions is void and holds no water, omo to largest of fan base no go dey happy with the move jare….wettin b saudi arabia….just as how i and many other 9ja fans yab south africa after Percy Tau relegate from EPL to epl (egyptian premier league)🤣🤦🏼…omo forget all those out rival go get yabbing talk to talk well well

So everyone should pack up and close the thread then since we dont have any business talking about the Super Eagles anymore. Let's pack up shall we?

So we were playing god when we also supported his charleroi step down in the beginning? Why didnt you stop us then?

Why didnt you call us Judges back then?
Like!! we should let osimhen be🤣🤣….a whole biggest striker currently in Nigeria and even in Africa….we should let him be🤣…..a big popular figure

im telling you eehn…cos this thing should not even delay at all…like this eehn na make we just play to win our remaining 4games and expect slip up from SA….9ja 7pts. SA 13points….omo like play like play otilor oo🤦🏼🤦🏼🥱🥱😀

we will now have to be forcing osimhen down the throat of other nationals just like how cameroon is doing with Vincent Abubakar😀🤣🤣🤣

more of fans wants to keep relishing the bragging rights osimhen would bring to our fanatic ego by wishing he stays in europe,
while another sect just doesn’t care where he goes so far he will still maintain that monsterous form of a striker.

las ls lets hope osimhen keep burning hot as our forward striker…like this ehn if osimhen looses his monsterous striker instincts e go take decades to find who plays like him…we still dey find “enyeama”, and Okocha” for super eagles…..
My fear is, i hope the quality of Saudi league doesn’t reduce his killer instinct as a striker…..because a striker that single handedly dragged us to Afcon final with beasts showing no beans oo.
a striker that played his first 2world cup qualifying matches and scoring 3goals, something other strikers have struggling to do….we just need him to be in that hot burning form…..i wish though he plays in a competitive league not necessarily top clubs sha…..e sure me if na Osimhen dey that position Awoniyi was occupying in Nottingham forest, they would have given Liverpool,Arsenal a run for their money and also qualify for UCL…..anywich way i just want him to be in top hot form always….he is the one of the major reasons we are still having a hope to qualify for world cup that is if FIFA deducts SA their 3points….

If Chukwueze played against Russia yesterday, he for Putin golazo o, his dribbles from the middle are now making sense than his dribbles from the wings.

Delete one, delete two, through-pass, GOAL 😂

Imagination wan kee me 😂
this is not imagination….this is really what we would have seen from Chuks yesterday…he would have unsettled those defenders with his tricky dribbles and runs and through passes

-e go pain me if we no qualify for world cup🥺🥺🤦🏼
-Eric chelle is turning out to be the next sweet rhing after Keshi
-First half before we conceded that you own goal, we were playing russia half field on their soil, infront of 80k+ fans
-since 2023 russia has not conceded a goal, Nigeria just burst their bubbles.
- Iwobi or chuks in that midfield would have unlocked those guys defense more
- osimhen in that attack would have made their defense continually shyting on their pants for 90mins
-Boniface has to deal with unluckiness in his career, cos why would it be when he left the pitch, the keeper decided to gift Arokodare a goal, why e no do am when boniface dey there🤣
-I see us doing to Rwanda what we played Russia and Jamaica in the first half….then i see SA coming at us in the second half just similar to Ghana and Russia in the second half…

if we go all out aggressively on SA and Rwanda walai we go beat them like werey…..
Chelle is yet to lose a game…held Russia ok their turf is not bean

one positive im holding on to in this game is seeing super eagles bossing well setup russian team on their turf…we just lack a hungry deadly finisher and a loop hole pass creator and dribbler….Russia is playing like Rwanda(defender and catch us counter)
