he who lives by the sword dies by the sword |
what would you do if you found your partner in bed with your sibling? A woman found her husband in bed with her younger sister. the sister is not yet married. the husbands family and friends are begging her to forgive her husband and continue with the union. would you advise her to continue? the slogan on everyones lips is marriage is for better for worse!!! |
have you ever thought that the guy might have been jazzed? there is this real life situation that happened to a man who never had a feeling for his secretary. but the secretary felt she deserved a piece of the mans wealth, put jazz in the mans tea and the story began. so will be the fate of such a wife when she finds out? my answer to this question is dont ever give up on your marriage, we are all human, the bible says the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. no one is beyond mistakes, you dont have to throw away what you have built over the years. Cry unto God and he will surely see you through. even men of God fall for this temptation but your love and faith in God could weather the storm. before this time, i used to have same opinion as those in the forum but with maturity and a life in Christ you know better. yes, a married man having an affair is not the best but you dont have to divorce him once this happen, try to find the root to this problem and with God on your side you will win. |

well from experience, the last job interview i went for, i was asked same question and i was sincere with the interviewer. i told her i needed to give a 4 weeks notice to my present employer, i further asked her if that was okay by her. she said she would have loved it if i could start within the next 2 weeks. so, i told her i was going to see how things would work out. she called and gave me the job and i sent in my notice asking that the 4 weeks be used as my annual vacation. most times, the employer understands that the notice period is usually 4 weeks and they really dont mind. be sincere with the employer and if yo nailed the interview, the interviewer will be willing to keep the job for you |
Hi please do you have anything on ISEB practitioner certificate in software testing? if you do please holla me here and the we can discuss further thanks |
just like Dynasty said, you might be required to do a pgd prior to your doing the masters degree ebcause yo are from a different discipline entirely. but of you are adamant on going for a masters degree right away why not try applying for msc in information technology, i am not really sure but i think this programme is designed for people with little or no knowledge of computing(computer science) |
Hi Tonex, what did you study as your undergraduate degree? when i was applying for a post graduate degree in Ireland with a B.SC degree in Computer Science, i was advised by the course coordinator not to bother doing a post graduate degree in information technology as it is meant for those without prior knowledge in computing. if you had a B.sc degree in computer science i would recommend you took up the offer in communication in systems engineering as this encompasses a broader field and the career progression is far above that of information technology i mean the communication in systems engineering is more skillful than the former. right now, i work as a software test engineer and i am about doing a masters in project management the key is think of what you would like to do in future and then make a choice. best of luck sha |
i would say to develop a career as an accountant in Nigeria, better to work with a consulting firm than with a bank. never worked in a bank before but i have friends who did work in Nigerian banks and i was told the career progression there is nothing to write home about. i believe working with a consulting firm exposes you to more skills in your career and refihes you for the future ahead. good luck in all your undertakings |
@ mazi what on earth makes you believe that sex is sin. sex is only a sin when the act is carried out outside marriage. further more, you said there is no where in the bible that says a man can only marry one wife, na wah for you o, the bible says one man one woman. the bible says let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. man and wife not man and wives, ok adultery is a sin in the site of God and every adulterer shall not go unpunished |
before the kids came into being, there has been your wife or your husband so why use your child as you next of kin if your spouse is still alive. the bible says so shall a man leave his mother and father and shall cleave to his wife and they twain shall become as one flesh. your spouse is your better half so why choose someone else as your next of kin? |
hmm, i feel you my sister. it is not easy. but i would say be patient. Patience is the key word here. dont get yourself worked up over this issue. like someone said in the thread, dont haggle words with your mother in law. you will never stay in your in laws house forever, very soon it will al be over. people saying you shouldnt have agreed to stay with your in laws should not reason that way. there are some situations beyond ones control. i pray God gives you the strength and grace to cope with the situation at hand and your own place as well |
you be health science teacher or domestic science teacher? which one you be now? |
hmm, moi, i am a natural person, i no dey front. anytime any day, i would always use my hands for my solid meals. wetin be fork? even times i went out with my colleagues in the office and the ordered chicken got too stubborn with cutlery set, i use my hands, |

If his father was not the president of Nigeria, tell me who on earth would have been interested in him? there are so many Nigerians out there doing pretty well and excelling in their chosen profession. as anybody thot of doing a thread on them? abeg, i no wan no am. please lets talk better. |
i just wonder at times why at times people cheat on their partners. what makes a woman go outside her home to source for love/sex outside and what makes a man do the same. could you please educate me? |
Hi Fellybabae, i am so much interested in seeing those designs of yours. over here we don t really have good tailors and besides that, getting the fabric is so expensive. i beg please send me designs my sister. ma email addy is dotronny@yahoo.com |
what would you do if a friend's spouse makes an advance towards you. i had this friend whose husband made advances at one of our friends. it was a continuous advance and she later had to tell our friend who didnt of course believe her. the girl that was approached was also married and this actually caused a strain in her marriage |
HMMMMM, the first time i saw people kissing each other on this side of the world i was so shocked and felt very uncomfortable. you know, people find it so easy to kiss each other any where at any time, long sensual kiss, on the bus, on the train, on the tramp, just anywhere anytime. i wouldn't mind being pecked, hugged in public but not sensual long kisses. its sends so many different messages to the kids out there in the society. you guys need to see the way these people go about it. i dont see myself doing this and i was shocked and uncomfortable this first time i witnessed this because it is not part of our culture. i don't think it has to do with being shy. after spending about five years here, i still cant do it and don't see myself doing it. |
i think your friend should go with her heart. she needs to have a heart to heart talk with her husband to be. If they strongly believe they can cope with the stress of being apart for a while why not? i lived apart from my husband for almost three years after we got married. it wasn't planned but it was a decision we took shortly have 4 weeks of getting married. i left Nigeria 4 weeks after getting married and we both coped well. though those three years we were apart, we visited each other. and we had two kids within those 3 years until he was finally able to join us. i would say, distance made me grow fonder of him and even strengthened our love. it made me realize not to take things for granted. let your friends weigh the pros and cons with her to be husband. if they believe they can cope, then, go for it if otherwise, let them part ways |
i regard this act as crap. most women that still hold unto their maiden name do so in order to have still have recognition with their family name. most especially those that come from a well known family. i pardon those in the entertainment industry. they still hang on to their maiden name so as to keep the fame but that not withstanding, one should drop the maiden name and go with the marital name. are we married to our fathers?, |
if this were to happen to me, i will tell my husband because i naturally tell him everything including advanvces from men and he handles the situation well. he doesnt get angry over the gists. He not only trusts his wife but he also believes i can handle situatuins well. wives please dont hide anything from your husbands, |
to me Chioma is Prettier than Oge Okoye. Oge is not so pretty she is only attractive because of the way she dresses. Chioma is more conservative in her mode of dressing but far prettier than Oge is. As per acting, they are both good actresses and interpret their roles well |
i really can't say what life at 30 is to the unmarried girls. But i only have one thing to say. Gods time is the best. Your time shall surely come. when God created Adam, He did not create a woman immediately after then but He created a woman when he felt the time was right. Seek Gods face and your missing ribcage will find you. yes there will be pressure here and there but don't yield to it because this might lead to making the wrong choice Marriage is a good thing only when you are you married to your soul mate, |

Aside from experience, a software developer needs to have a good understanding of the requirement specification/function specification and from that, draws up the technical specification. yeah i agree with planning of codes but prior to this understanding of the spec is necessary. the issue of testing, i do not totally agree in a developer testing his/her work, there should be a software tester that would do an intensive system testing. yeah, a developer can do a unit testing but a tester needs to do the system testing as a whole. a developer should also bear in mind that an automated system/application is meant to make work easier and less cubersome so should strive as much as possible to build a user friendly application. if a requirement is not good enough, challenge it. i guess every other points you have made as well |
this question brought back to memory a film i watched. a woman married to a man for 18 years. they have four kids together. on winning American vis lottery, the man decided to process the visa lottery by taking DNA test as requested by the embassy. on the glorious day, he got a call from his doctor summoning him to come to the hospital. to his surprise, out of four children one one of the kids was actually his, and to rub insult to the injury, it was the 3rd child, not even the first!!!! the man went raving mad!!!! and believe you me, the woman knew who the father of the children was, and to think the man married her fresh from her fathers house. women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!sincerely, only a woman knows the father of the child it is a known fact!!!! to the men, when there is trust in the marriage then don't think otherwise, besides the child might have a resemblance to the father.my ids take after their father physically. in a situation where there is doubt, then DNA test is a true prove of paternity |
Women, what would you do if you found out your husband has a child outside wedlock? men please contirbute as some women have kids before getting married and did not tell their spouse |
Is it advisable to have a joint account with your spouse? |
Love should be the foundation / basis for getting married. we should marry for love and not for the purpose of having children. But having children are one of the blessings that come along with marriage. Children are blessings from God. The lack of children in a marriage should never crumble a marriage. If either of the couple cannot have kids and so much desire the joy of father/motherhood, adoption could be considered as an option. Besides, does having children in marriage guarantee happiness? NO, Neither does love guarantee happiness, The love of God in a marriage is what guarantee happiness (a love that suffers all things, bears all things and stands all things) this love brings about peace in our lives |
