Was just staring at the last picture I took with my dad in 2017. He passed on this January and I hadn't seen him in a while. He didn't even get to hold my baby his first grandchild. I had plans. His dad died in December and January my dad was gone too. Unbelievable. My husband thinks I'm fine but God knows I'm not. The only thing keeping me going is my little girl, seeing her everyday brings me back to reality. Don't know if I've developed PTSD cos I don't know how I feel most times. The image of him in a box kills me every time. No goodbye. He was in his early 60s just retired and gone like that. They said he had cancer. We had no idea tilll the week he died. Love you dad, rest on. We will meet again.

When I first heard of his passing, my heart beat lost rythm Everything I could see felt useless. I questioned my self about life itself for the first time....it's all vanity. I thought I was going to die too but I'm still here today
Falling asleep whether during the day or at night takes a lot of effort cos all I ever think about is my dad. The more I try to think about other things the more flashes I get. For myself and everyone struggling with grief, may God send us a comforter.
