Oh wow..that's very nice of him unlike some doctors that just want to put it in and move on to someone else..
This must really be a lot for you..how are you doing accommodation and how much do they charge for ivf without treatment...from what you explained it means you are going to be staying back for sometime
And there's nothing like IVF without treatment, even for a frozen transfer, you'd still be given drugs but majorly estrogen and progesterone drugs as the main aim is to get the endometrium ready for reception

This is why I said the man is detailed, there's nothing like physical file in the clinic, everything is documented on the system, a new doctor sees you, and just checks his laptop for where the last doctor stopped, other clinic will just transfer and move ahead. But he talked to us and said the endometrium was a little too thick for comfort, and suggested we suspend the transfer, and wait for period, then get the endometrium ready for transfer in my next cycle, in essence a frozen embryo transfer. They gave us a 40% discount too for the FET. My husband asked me to return so I'm back to base, and will call in the hospital once a new cycle starts. Better late than never. I like that he's not in a rush

Hello sis..how have you been?how did your procedure go,hope its successful?been wanting to check up and know how everything went which I'm sure is a success
Yes my dear, we collected eggs and had to freeze because Dr ese was not comfortable with my endometrial thickness and suggested we stop transfer n get the endometrium ready.

Wow..all the way?I'm wishing you success..

How did you do accommodation?I want to see if I can talk to my husband so we can do the next one in Abuja..can I get the contact of your doctor is they allow that so I can communicate with him/her and know the next step to take..

Almost everyone that went for ivf in vedam didnt get positive result and I fear he hasn't made my adenomyosis worst than it was..
I will advice that you take care of underlying issues first, before proceeding for IVF, IVF is too expensive not to be prepared, the doc we use Dr ese is very detailed, even will treat all underlying issues before suggesting IVF. So I believe it's best to be patient and not rush into it. Baby dust to you. Check 0.8.0.9 5.1.5 9.6.8.1. primecare hospital. But again, gynescope is another great hospital with very good success rate..
Again, please focus on treating underlying issues and preparing yourself before beginning

So today I got a failed ivf result and I have been more that broken..
I started having the symptoms 10 years back but I did not know what is was so I kept going from hospital to hospital and they were all telling me it's small fibroid and I shouldn't worry about it but I was worried because of the symptoms..so many hospitals tagged it different things but nobody actually knew what it was..
People should be worried when doctors tell them it's just small fibroid there is nothing to worry about.

So fast forward to when I got married I and my husband started trying and pregnancy was happening so we went to meet a gynecologist(vedam Owerri)here in owerri to start ivf procedure since I wasn't getting pregnant and the doctor said I should go for a surgery that it was a fibroid so we agreed and I had a major surgery..it was after he opened me up that he found out it is adenomyosis so he did incision surgery to cut some part of it out...after that he started giving me lupron monthly injection so after taking the lupron for 4 months and we were about to start the ivf he told me I should use egg donor and I said no and my husband doesn't want it too(I'm 39 this june)so he started giving me high dose of menopur(450mg)and it increases estrogen in the body which feeds adenomyosis so I think that made my adenomyosis get worst and usually my period comes with water..

After egg retrieval we got only 4 eggs because the lupron shut down my ovaries..we got 1 blastocyst/2 normal embryo and 1second grade and we transferred the 4 of them..when I went for blood test it came out negative and I have been so down..

I think the right procedure is to have done egg retrieval before the surgery then followed by lupron for 4 months and a little amount of estrogen( menopur)rather than feeding my adenomyosis again with 450mg after down regulation..I will cry it out and I will be fine.

The mean reason I'm here is to know if there is a way someone here have reduced her adenomyosis and gotten pregnant with ivf or naturally..I will appreciate if someone can introduce me to what she used and got pregnant?please dont advertise the drugs you are selling to me please..tell me what worked for you let me look for a way to get it..I dont mind the local herbs too..

Again which hospital have you used in Anambra/imo/ph and it worked for you and your group people perfectly not a place someone told you about because that is what got me to where I am at the moment..
Thanks for your responses..
Sis, I'm so sorry about your experience. Well, there is no good fertility clinic in owerri, vadem isn't even one, I'm surprised U used them for IVF, everyone I know that lives in owerri went to either Lagos, pH asaba or owerri for their IVF procedure, this doctor would have ordered an hysteroscopy that would have discovered everything happening in your womb before outlining a treatment plan.
We are currently on our IVF cycle in primecare fertility clinic Abuja, we live in owerri. There are great hospitals in abuja, primecare, diff, private. Lagos st ives, fertilaid, gynescope lekki, nordica, olive.. for pH, gynescope is a very good one too for asaba, mother Theresa is there.. owerri isn't it at all.

Though it depends on male issue, was low or nothing at all .
Iui with a doctor that knows what he or she is doing works like magic.

Remember you can also option for Donner sperms if you don't mind
I would not advice anyone to try IUI if it's not UNEXPLAINED INFERTILITY, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, the odds is like less than 10%. For about 350k. IUI is similar to the normal timed/medicated sex , difference is, woman takes ovulation booster and is given HCG, the man's sperm is washed and then injected, . If there's low sperm count, forget IUI cus the odds even goes down much lower, if everything is normal then pregnancy is just not happening, good U can try that. For IUI to have a chance to be successful, tubes must be open, sperm count has to be normal atleast baseline normal 15m and above,. When sperm is washed, some will still die only a concentrated amount will remain. So madam, if your issue is unexplained (you and DH has done all tests and you both are normal) then you can try.
But if there's low sperm count, boost it before U try, if it's not boosting. I'll advice you to just save for IVF, your chance increases to about 50-60%. Except you just want to do iui and hope for God's face. Which isn't out of place too

Hello TTC,

I would like to seek your advice on the best and affordable clinic for IUI in Lagos,
I had been married with DW for close to 3 years and the issue is Male factor infertility.
Though I would have preferred IVF but we don't have enough yet and we are tired of waiting.
With male factor infertility, forget IUI and save towards Ivf

Hey you, yes you!
Remember when you said you'll finish Elon Musk with Terabytes upon Terabytes of downloads every month.
Now you barely use 10GB data daily.
See your life 😁
Hahaha happens everywhere, saturation, see finish kind of. At the beginning, you feel the thrills of having unlimited data, download everything you want and get the initial sharp spike.. after sometime, it balances and you notice you don't use more than a considerable amount monthly

Is the success rate of IUI at par or below IVF?
Obviously not, iui has a 10-20% pregnancy rate. IVF has a 45-65% rate depending

Good day all.I noticed my left scrotum is bigger than my right and it looks like the left have bag of worms and I have a mild pain sometimes on the left side.So today I went to the hospital,a doctor inspected my scrotum and confirm that I have varicocele.
I suppose to do a scan for it today but I was rescheduled for Monday. The doctor said I will do a seminal fluid analysis (SFA) to check my sperm.I and my mom went to the area they do that and the lab attendant there is saying I should masturbate today and then by Monday,I should come back and I will masturbate again in the hospital so they can inspect the sample.Pls will masturbating today drops my sperm count.I am kind of confused.I am also a virgin
Semen typically takes 48-72 hours to replenish. Masturbate today, between now and Monday is 4days and is perfect for a great semen analysis . If you do a scan and varicocele is confirmed. You'd have to do a minor corrective surgery.

Diff is very expensive, almost 3.5m for IVF. Nisa is almost same
