ok...I did some research. a man also said same thing about 3months interval....though some miscalculate it and start counting from when she littered and not when she had her last heat......that's btw, 3months interval is possible especially when u have other females that also come on heat...this triggers heat and we call it synchronised oestrus. .....it is definitely possible

Like I said earlier, my cross breed dog came into season after three months probably because my boerboel was also on heat at the time.
Though she was not bred, I'm pretty sure she was not as fertile
It is believed that if you have two or more female dogs, they will all have their heat cycle at about the same time.
One bitch coming into season can put the others on heat too.
It only happened that one time, her heat cycle returned to the usual six months interval
For a female dog to come into season every three months is just absurd.

My cross breed dog came on heat after three months.
She usually come into season at six months interval, but she did after three months just that one time. It never happened again.
My female boerboel was on heat at the time, so this must have greatly influenced it.
A dog coming into season after three or four months on few occasions is very plausible. But every three months? For the rest of her life? That's just silly, total BS.

wow..since u said urs came on heat once in a 3 months interval,that means its lil bit possible that dogs do come on heat at 3 months interval..

Generally each dams's interestrus interval vary from the other normally female should probably come on heat On average every 6months interval but some dams experience prolonged interestrus about every 12months on average while others may be the oposite having shorter intervals i have never heard of a female dog coming on heat on a 3months interval but I think I have seen a females coming on heat on a 4months interval that's the least I have seen and it's very rare. 3months is too short I think the guy might be lieing buts it's stll possible

i've only seen d 6 months heat intervals,that's y I was surprised.. but if its true abt d 3 months heat interval,that means d dam will be coming in heat for 6 tyms a yr or so..tnks for sharing ur view on this.

Simple, that's marketing strategy, but in some cases it could true, it will really depend on the breed,some comes on heat every four month that's almost like two cycles per year if u do the calculation, in every every the dog will still whelp twice a year like every normal dog. But in this case I bet if the owner knows what he's talking about.

I never wanted to open a thread for this,but I had no other option.. I came across a post on fb where someone wrote"FEMALE DOG FOR SALE,COMES ON HEAT EVERY 3 MONTHS"I was surprised cause I've never heard such where a dog enters heat that quick.
my question is that,is if possible for a f-male dog to have such heat cycle,if you say its possible kindly tell us what results to such or was the guy just blabbing.

well, u know this is nigeria and with the number of mutts trolling the streets its really gonna be hard distinguishing them from the medium head size pure rotts and due to that effect there's no way to determine a pure rott but the only way m able to do so on my own is through the head size and body physic. you can bring a medium size pure rott and ask people to judge, u will see they will call it a mix because People has generalized pure breed as the ones with massive head .You can get me a pure breed medium size head rott so far u can prove to me its pure breed with all the pedigree certificates intact then m game.

that's how to determine pure breeds by the head size. mutts always come with smaller head and rotts are known for heavy bite force which depends alot on the head size.

I disagree with u when u say rott comes with huge head,some rott grow with a medium size head,but in terms of d big broad head,its gotten from d parents wen both has large head,I agree with u when u said something abt d heavy bite force..i've seen a a rott with medium head but still has all d potential a pure breed rott has.so pls don't judge rott based on their head only but study their colour variation,temperament,hips and also their chest.

now see wickedness. but the head has the feature of a Caucasian. inshort the face get Caucasian appearance, and ever since I ve seen alot of gsds both the long hair and the short hair,never ve I seen such dog as a gsd pup. the best thing is to see the parent pics that's the only chance to deduce the pups breed, all I know e fit be rott pup

never in Nigerian have you seen a caucasian that is bigger than this one in this country do you know wat it means for a dog to weigh 300 punds plus we are talking about products from the best breeding kennels in mosco russian were this dog originated from I believe we have some cauc expects in the house the owner of this cauc is the number 1 imported of caucasian ovarchaka in Nigerian and has one of the best breeding kennels of caucasian ovarchaka in russian so believe me when I tell you that this super sized male is the biggest to ever Walk the surface of Nigeria
