Var na scam... that penalty shouldn't be given to the germans. The lady actually went for the ball and even hit it |
Digital101:That's the argument penaldo fans put up everytime. It doesn't just make sense ![]() |
Jokerman:Undoubtedly, Ronaldo is Portugal's best player ever simply because Messi isn't from Portugal. The argument between messi and Ronaldo will always be subjective and inconclusive hence, you're entitled to your own opinion. However, going by your logic, Ronaldo and messi shouldn't be in the narrative when we talk about achievements. This is because player like kaka, juan mata, torres and a host of others won everything in football like club cups, euro cups, world cups, Olympics and others u can think of. Your logic is skewed and if we're to consider just achievements, then it only makes sense to consider a player's achievement rather than the team achievement. Then the question pops up, has Ronaldo achieved any thing more than Messi based on individual awards(not team awards) ? Everyone knows the answer. |
Nasri100:Please, I'm not here for your antics. This is a serious discussion about the future of op. Lets not water down the purpose of this thread |
Nasri100:Go back and read my post. Anyway, I'll break it down for you since you clearly have comprehension issues. School is referred to University mate. If the op reads my post, he will know I meant a uni since he already said he dropped out from the uni earlier On the kids and family part of my post, I was referring to the fact that soon he will get married and those things can be debilitating factors to attending a uni About your last sentences, we actually are saying the same thing that he should go to school now since he can afford it Honestly, your post is useless and should be deleted so others can contribute positively. |
lereinter:Well, it's a good thing my points are digested and the next time someone put up a baseless argument, do well to send my regards. |
Troubledmind:Well, Nigeria currently have no shortage of your kind. Young promising adults who are money-hungry and are caught in between roads - money or school. Considering the state of the country, several people will tell you to focus on your hustle and leave school alone at least for now and that is a wrong idea and I'll tell you why. At age 25, most of your mates would have completed their nysc programme, probably started hustle like you're doing and earn equal or more than you. Even if they're unlucky, having a Bsc simply means they're not in your league if I'll be honest. If for anything, any serious minded acquaintance will find it easier to assist an educated mind. Simply put, the uneducated mind will have to be an entrepreneur, yahoo boy or a politician in order to make any significant sum in our present Nigeria. Needless to say, the job such person has to do is still well open to an educated mind. It stands to reason that the uneducated is already disadvantaged. It's not uncommon to see many people tell you to forget school after all, the wealthiest of men in our society are dropouts or didn't go to school. Though their words are seemingly innocuous, it's actually a free ticket to suffering. While they already have their certificate, they give you ill advice. The certificate is useless but theirs is safe in a locker and to further strengthen their point, they refer you to bill gates and other billionaires living in Nigeria, sorry USA. If for anything, you can actually hustle while in school and even secure a first class. It's doable and I'll be sincere with you, you can. Those who claim they haven't benefitted from schooling are the biggest losers. If you have ever had an interaction with an uneducated mind, you will understand the importance of schooling. Personally, I find it hard to relate with anyone who didn't attend higher institution. If you don't go to school, don't stress your kids about school... it's plain stupidity. I'm actually one of those who believe school is the ultimate in life so my ideas might be a bit skewed but they're what you need. I have seen people first hand begging to get certificate even when they're loaded with cash. I'll be honest with you I do lecture some in Engineering and believe me, they wish they had done it earlier. Its not easy with kids, family, business and all. The time of securing a Bsc is almost wearing off for you ... take heed. |
lereinter:I didn't want to reply u but it would seem that u have made a lot of sense. In terms of team contribution, Messi flaws Ronaldo on that basis. How do u explain someone contribution to a team? Is it by having trophies? Hell no! If u takeaway the impact of messi from Argentina, they wouldn't have even qualified for three worldcups and copa America...it's a fact everyone knows. Now, the same cannot be said for Ronaldo as can be seen in euro16... Portugal played exceptional well without him on the pitch. I can't seem to understand the logic u people put up everytime about winning national trophies. If it's about number of trophies won, Ronaldo and messi wont even be in the argument. We would have people like juan mata, kaka, torres competing for the G.O.A.T title because they won everything there is Honestly, if we are sincere to ourselves Ronaldo is simply an excellent player who scores goals especially when required... he brings the flash of brilliance to his team but Messi, on the other hand, is an excellent player who supports his team based on passes, assists, play make, goals and going by this Messi is better. It will shock u to know that messi has a better goal ratio to him. If we argue based on consistency, messi is better and has been the topic every year since 2005. He's the most consistent player and if you want to argue about it, let me know. Messi is not on the same level with Ronaldo if we look at it critically. it was a media scam all along. |
liberalchick:Well, it looks good on paper. I fear for the defense anyway... because the Argentine squad I watched is just zero. They don't seem to know what they're playing for. |
I would say the call is a right one but then I can't stop to think about the welfare of the lecturers and overall efficiency of the system if such funds are abrogated. It stands to reason that the government will therefore need to provide more funds for tertiary institutions otherwise, the institution will consequently increase tuition fees to compensate for the 'shortcoming.' Whatever the case, it's a right call with wrong methods and certainly will not work as at today. Certainly it won't |
liberalchick:This is a sure formation to lose. A 3 - man defense will be fruitful if Argentina has good defenders. The best defender they have by Argentina's standard is Otamendi, one we well know as a poor defender by world standard. Moreover, he's short for a 3-man defense. Personally I think the best will be 4-4-2 with aguero and dybala playing upfront. Messi should play as an attacking player in a diamond-shaped midfield position inorder to dictate the play, style, pass and support aguero and dybala as strikers |
Beverlyjean:Well, u can say whatever makes you happy. However, the truth still stands... messi is not and has never been the problem of Argentina. If he was, how come they achieved those feats as u posited? Oh man... they could reach threee finals(2copa and one world cup) without Messi's leadership? In all honesty, without messii in the team, whether scoring or not, you think Argentina would even qualify for those worldcups? They simply won't... a fact u know. But Portugal would and could without Ronaldo. It's evident in the euro where eder won the cup. You lots keep saying he charged the team on the sidelines but u know it's a lie... the team has a better cohesion and could actually play without him. On the other hand, being that messi is the best, the Argentines always feel he should defend, play make, pass, collect the ball and ultimately score. I would blame messi too but then the Argentine federation know it isn't more of the players issue and little wonder why they have use 8 different managers in the 13years of Messi career. You might want to argue whatnot but believe me the problem of Argentina isn't that of team leadership. It's far more than that... If it is truly an argument of messi vs Ronaldo, we are not professionals and haven't been on the field with them. But go to YouTube and check any video of great players comparing both of them...u can watch a compilation and u will see the best people( and more percentage of them)in football saying it's Messi. He is actually the only one who hasn't won the world cup that is in the argument of the best ever. The other two in the argument are also from south America (not Europe) viz Pele and Maradona. |
liberalchick:Argentina was just lucky. Had Paraguay converted their chances, it will most likely be game over for Argentina. About Brazil, they are currently the favorite to win the cup. |
babakb:U don't just say a loser and get to walk away. How do u define a loser in football? |
Beverlyjean:U are being too sentimental about the whole stuff. What are u arguing about? Is it an argument that messi is not good? If it's, u are just being irrational and sentimental. Or u saying messi is the problem of the team? I know your problem... you just want to compare him and Ronaldo. Stop that bad blood and just talk about the Argentine team. Do u think Argentina will do better with messi away? U claim the side is good, how? How can a team be excellent with only good forwards? What about defence and midfields? If u claim the team is okay and there is no issue then let me ask u a question and I want answers since u claim to know a lot about this team. Aside the contributions of messi over the decade to Argentina every time they play together, can u tell me the contribution of other top class players with him? Players like aguero, higuain, and others u well know? Can u believe they still can't perform too? The problem is the structure and technical team. Dont be silly and pretend not to know. Even Ronaldo will perform worse in this team. If u want to argue about messi and Ronaldo, just tell me then I can gear up for u. If u talk about a goal scorer, I will give it to Ronaldo (besides, messi has a better goal ratio than Ronaldo ) but when u talk about the best PLAYER, it is Messi. I'm sure when Ronaldo watch messi in his living room he wonders how people compare messi to him because the little man handles it with so much finesse, class and man... I'm serious |
liberalchick:How do u think the formation will look like? How will they lineup in 4-4-2 ? Except messi will play an attacking midfielder role |
In all luck still falls in hands of the Argentines as they take on Qatar next. Lets see if they can improve in the next game |
Poor performance from Argentina. They are just playing and hoping messi does something. I bet Nigeria will do better than them. The team has no defence & midfield...their forward is shaky because Messi always need to fall back to create chances upfront... but who will receive it? Damn! The coach is another silly man... dimaria doesn't play wide again. In psg he plays playmaking role. The coach is a new one so just trying different silly combinations in order for them to win |
liberalchick:He plays same spot with messi. Messi cannot be benched as u know |
This Argentina team is just rubbish. Messi is the only person there. Bundle of nonsense. |
Unrated900:Well, she might not have killed herself base on sex or emotional stuff. It could well be the boyfriend takes care of her... her fees, books etc or maybe she did these for the guy and he left her. So many ifs and maybes... media might not be telling us everything. |
I must quickly put my thoughts to words on this. The Nigeria government is not and has not been serious with fighting cybercrime. They are just looking around for boys without some strong pedestal to fight their case. How can they when they're part of the problem? As much as I hate to admit, every young graduate in Nigeria is currently a potential Yahoo boy. It's a fact they well know and could surmount. Little wonder why they harass anybody they find with some shoe, jean and a phone. The country is hard as it already is and the present government should do all within her powers to restore the people's confidence in Nigeria. |
A tragic lose to the family. It's unpleasant to hear the reason accompanying the sad news and my thoughts are with the family. May the good Lord give us the required strength to overcome our troubles. Life's truly a compendium of fleeting times. |
dannybrasky:Yea bro. But I like their launcher... it's nice. I would love to change my fonts without bricking my device |
Oluwasaeon:I tried this fix and it worked temporarily I tried the fix by dannybrasky and boom! It worked! Thanks a lot for reply |
dannybrasky:Thanks chief I tried it earlier and it didn't work. I'm happy it worked nw |
Guys, I bought my Samsung phone recently. It's a nice device but I'm having an issue with it. The issue is that each time I uninstall an app, it leaves a vacant space that can't be filled in my app drawer screen. Please see ss below. The phone is Samsung a30 The two vacant spaces cannot be filled with newly installed apps. My other apps are in the next slide of the app drawer. Ideally the apps in the next screen are suppose to fill the vacant spaces and continue from there

If it was in Nigeria Im pretty sure there would have been name calling even before this thread was created. But thank God it happened in SA. However, the cause of her death should be investigated and made public. |
mykelshowz:Please share me link to join |
Mizik:What's the difference between x6 & 6.1 plus aside the fact that one is for China? Can I get it alongside an affordable pouch and screen guard? |
sillysassysally:Thanks, I appreciate. Please can u help me clarify if McGill doesn't really require ielts for application and acceptance for grad studies? |
