Should in case visa got denied or one couldn't get appointment date like in my case and you decided to forget about Germany and focus your energy on another country, in such case you will want to get your money block account money back and it's take time to get the money even with Fintiba which seems to be the fastest German bank not to talk of other German banks which will even take longer because they will request for series of documents.

It took me one month and few days to get my money back,and I got it back without providing visa refusal letter. So why would you fund your block account and go to so much stress if you eventually need to get your money back due to one reason or the other.

Please don't fund your block account without having appointment date for your own good. If you have appointment date and you need to find your block account,with Fintiba it will take you less than two weeks for the money to reflect in your German account

What is the probability that someone who gets an appointment date will be rejected? If rejected, will he/she easily get the money back in Nigeria without much stress or u advice the person to apply for another interview date

Also, how do I easily fund a block account easily without stress since I don't reside in lagos or other mega cities

We know that different brokers offer several kind of accounts depending on users preference and cash. However, I’m kinda confused how they work.

For instance, if I open a mini account and I trade the lot size of 1.00, does that translate to 0.1 standard lot(10k units) because it’s a mini account?

Similarly, If I open a micro account, and I trade the lot size of 1.00, does that translate to 0.01 standard lot(1000units) because it’s a micro account?

That's a Scholarship from graduate school. Most international student receives it. It would have made small sense if you were a Ms student, For a PhD, that's not what you need bro. Just ignore the email and continue praying that your department sends their offer. That's the main deal.

Have you gotten reply from your GC? What are they saying about assistantship's?

I received my funding offer about 3weeks after admit. But I know some pple who's funding offer came along with their admit. It depends on dpt.

Don't be discouraged, Coronavirus might be slowing the funding decision. I hope you receive your funding soon.

MSc. TTU doesn't give Ms full ride, but the deficit is almost insignificant.

I did not apply separately for the funding. I don't think you need to. But you can email your dpt to ask.

Can any Nigerian sacrifice 70yrs of his life studying about how to develop our nation? Your guess is as good as mine, we will leave such at the slightest inclusion of money, the benjamin. The problem is deeply rooted. There's a lot to talk about on this issue. Go to the streets today and you will understand the result of what successive bad governance has done. Only 0.01% are wealthy. The rest of us are poor... majority of us live below #300/day. It's bad

What can be done? What corrective measures can we apply? What do we need to do? There's a solution... the only solution. After some years of serious research, I propose this solution which is what we need. But I dont think nairaland wants to listen

I can't really say much about commodities but to be more exact, forex pairs actually move during weekends but most brokers do not make it available.

Due to demand and supply, forex pairs will still move even though it is weekend which is why we have the 'weekend jump or fall' and we wonder why the huge move sometimes. Special financial information providers like Reuters make it available if you go to their website and you can have an idea where the direction falls to before Sunday night market open.

If you check it like every hour, the price will be different even at weekends. I hope that helps
