If you have to tell people you are a Christian, then there is a problem. The Christians at Antioch did not tell the people of Antioch they were followers of Christ. The People saw them and noticed they behaved like Christ in all their doings and began to call them Christians. They were righteous and holy in their dealings. They were separated from worldliness and pollutions of the World.

When people see you. Do they see Christ in you. Do you have to announce to the people that you are a Christian before they know you are one. Do your dressings portray Christ? Do your words portray Christ? Do your activities portray Christ? Would Christ do what you are doing or about to do.

Be ye separate and touch not unclean things and I will receive you, Says the Lord in the Scripture.

Jesus is coming. Be separated from the World. Repent and Live Holy and Righteous.

Christianity EtcA Jehover's Witness Woman Dies Because Of Her Beliefs. by misreal(op): 2:17pm On May 06, 2015
A Jehovah's Witness follower who was
diagnosed with treatable leukemia
when she was seven months pregnant
refused to have a transfusion due
to her religious beliefs.
According to iol news, a local media reported
that 28-year-old
Australian mother's baby needed to be
treated which involved urgent
blood transfusions which are forbidden in
Jehovah's Witness church.
www.blizzwap..com
Her treating doctor, hematologists Giselle
Kidson-Gerber and colleague
Amber Biscoe believed she and her unborn
baby would would have
survived if she had accepted transfusion. The
baby needed urgent
caesarean birth but the doctors feared the
mother would die from blood
loss if they carried one out.
The baby died in her womb, and shortly after
the woman suffered a
stroke and multiple organ failure and died as
well.

PoliticsNigeria Is Rich And Doesn't Need Aid...hit Or Miss??? by misreal(op): 2:06pm On May 06, 2015
THE European Union delegation has said
Nigeria is a rich country which should not
depend on aid from foreign donors.
Michel Arion, the EU Ambassador and head
of delegation to Nigeria and Economic
Community of West African States
(ECOWAS), expressed the opinion in Abuja,
on Tuesday.
Arion told newsmen that any money given to
Nigeria by the EU was “seed money.”
Arion added that aids given to Nigeria by the
EU were to fund projects on a pilot scale,
while the Nigerian government was expected
to replicate them on a larger scale.
“Please note that our aid is strategically
tailored to unlock Nigeria’s potential. Nigeria
is not an aid-dependent economy, with aids
constituting less than one per cent of its
GDP.
“Therefore, when we fund projects on a pilot
scale, governments at various levels can
replicate them at a larger scale for wider
reach and greater benefits.
“Nigeria is a rich country, but Nigerians are
regrettably poor. To really develop the
economy in a sustainable way, the core issue
will be to redistribute social benefits through
fiscal measures using taxation and social
measures with safety nets. Strengthening the
institutions is absolute key in this regard,” he
said.
The EU official added that the its
development assistance to Nigeria, under the
11th European Development Fund, would
focus on the North.
According to Arion, the focus on the northern
part of the country was due to the fact that
development indicators in the area were
“unacceptably worse.”
He said the emphasis would be on improved
access to basic social services such as
health, nutrition and social protection.
“The fund will also be on improved access to
electricity, which will lead to economic
growth and improved security,” he said.
Arion said the EU recently signed an
agreement with the Nigerian government to
fund a pilot project.
According to him, the project was aimed at
providing community-based psychological
support and protection services for children
and adolescents affected by the Boko Haram
insurgency in Borno State.

Christianity EtcRe: If Korede Cant Sing Godwin In Church, Should He Pay Tithe From Godwin To Church? by misreal(m): 8:02pm On May 05, 2015
FlirtyKaren:
I was online surfing the web when I stumbled on a drama that was playing out on comedian Alibaba's Twitter timeline. He had said he was in church today when the saxophonist started playing Korede's Godwin. You remember the chaos that also played out on blogs and social media the last time Korede himself performed that song in church for Easter.

So, Alibaba was surprised and asked too if that was ok. And like the last time, most of his followers totally condemned it. Then Alibaba asked these questions which I would really love to hear what you all think guys. See them below.

If Korede can't sing Godwin in church, can he bring tithe from the money he made from the song to church?

Christianity EtcRe: A Northern Muslim Girl's Letter To Christians by misreal(m): 1:49pm On May 05, 2015
sameera025:
Hello everyone, I just wanted to share my story and invite Christians who have reservations about Islam to post their questions about the religion here so that we can all understand each other more and hopefully as I result I will be able to change the opinions of those of you who look at our religion in such a negative light.

I am a northern Muslim who was born and raised in the United States. Growing up I was always ashamed of being a Muslim because Islam was hated and considered as weird in the society. As a young child I badly wanted to be a Christian because it seemed easier and cooler. My friends didn't know I was a Muslim because I hid that side of myself. I didn't cover my hair, I dressed as my friends did, I wouldn't pray like I was meant to. I didn't get why it was so important to do all those things. I believed that if anything, practicing my religion would just make me unpopular in school and a bully target.
I recall an incident when I was about 6 years old and a friend of mine found an Islamic book in my room. We rummaged through the pages and made fun of the Arabic words, the names we considered to be funny and it was because we were so young and didn't understand it all.
I moved to Nigeria as a teenager and it was here that I felt comfortable being a Muslim. Being around so many other Muslims and Christians who were accepting of the religion made me feel comfortable in practicing Islam. I began covering up, and when I did I felt the importance of it. As a woman, when you cover up you feel as sense of protection. You don't obsess as much about your looks because your body is concealed. No obsessing over how your hair looks, getting attachments all that pressure because no one can see it. I began to pray daily and at doing so I became a happier person. I felt a closeness towards God and a sense of protection and guidance.
I'm ashamed at how I as a child I was embarrassed of my religion. At this point in life I couldn't be more proud to be a muslim. It's still tough being a Muslim in the world today and I know that won't go away soon. But one thing I need you all to understand is the Islam I and a majority of other Muslims practice do not agree with boko Haram and other terrorist groups and their beliefs, the killings, the hatred. We are appalled by their acts even more than Christians are. The fact that they do such heinous acts in the name of our religion which clearly condemns against such.
The more things seem to escalate with terrorism in the country and around the world, the more I observe how Christians are turning against Islam and how southerners seem to distinguish themselves from the "northerners". It breaks my heart because when I moved here Christians were soo accepting of me, the religion. I got the treatment and acceptance from Nigerian Christians more than I could have ever imagined receiving so In America.
I don't choose my friends based on religion or tribe. I love all Nigerians alike. I wish a lot more people could feel the same way too.
Anyways I've gone on for too long. I just wanted to share my story in the hopes that I can shed Islam in another light. I know it is a religion that is misunderstood. If you have any questions please ask, I would love to have peaceful discussions and start a little campaign to get Muslims and Christians across the country to work together and love each other again.
what if you don't know that Islam supports jihad.how can a group of people from different part of the world practice the same thing and you say they are wrong..e.g.alshabab,Isis,alqaeda,bokoharam.etcsure there is no smoke without fire.

What?

Wherever did you hear that the Holy Spirit just told someone - "that's your wife, be joined by the pastor tomorrow"?

What? It's unfair to twist things this badly. It really is unfair.
a Christian should not date until the holy ghost has shown him/her the person to get married to.then, they can date, just to get to know each other.but this process of courting should not last up to two years to avoid temptation.

This is animal brutality, why was the snake mobbed and killed by these uncivilised eggheads! angry
The murder of this poor creature begs for more questions than answer
Did the snake bite anyone?
Did the guy die?
What was the snake's offence to have been murdered in cold blood like that?
How long has the cobra been living in that hostel with them.
Could it be that the cobra (most likely a female) digs one of the students and slithered to his bed to profess her love for him only to meet her untimely death in the hands of this unruly savages.
Where are the animal rights activists when you need them in this country?
