Hi All,

My colleague is also on this Canadian journey but has an issue with her marriage certificate.

Her job title on her marriage certificate doesn't match with her actual job title at the time. She put Managing Director as her job title on her marriage certificate because she had just started a personal business although she was working at the time. Her husband put Entrepreneur as his even though he was also working.

She is really worried about this. Would this be an issue if noticed by the VO?

Congratulations to those who got their COPR, PPR and Ietls results.

Please I have a few questions, kindly bear with me.

I got my ITA in May and had till August to put in my PR application. I started gathering my documents really late and by the time I was ready to submit I found out the exchange rate had gone up and I was short 200k for a family of three. I also found out on this forum that my husband needs a UK PCC as his cumulative visits to the UK is over 6 months(I assumed it was only if you were resident in the country). Anyway my ITA expired and my EE profile also expired.

I reached out to the province that nominated me and my nomination was transferred to my new EE profile I opened last week. Now I want to do it right and make sure everything I need is correct so here goes my questions.

1. Can I move one of my employment to personal history after I have been accepted into the pool, I am not claiming points for it as it was a company I worked for 5 years ago.

2. Due to the fluctuations in forex my husband wants to buy dollar and pay into his dorm account which will be used as pof, how do I show where the funds is coming from as the money will be withdrawn, dollars will be bought from Aboki and cash paid into the dorm account.

3. Does Cic always ask one to send in a Schedule A form if the applicant once had visa refusal even though the visa was granted a month later and subsequent visas renewed.

4. I am currently pregnant, If I inform Cic after the baby is born and PPR mail has been received, will I be asked to send in updated proof of funds.

5. I will be having my baby in the US, when we are asked to submit our passports after PPR, can we ask to change the location to submit our passports.

So sorry for my many questions.

Hi Guys,

Urgent question, my profile says I have one day left to submit my application.

I am ready to submit my application now but just realised the exchange rate has gone up. I have 4.9m bank balance showing on my statement but the rate as at today is 5.1m. The last time I checked the rate it was 4.5m to 18,825 CAD . I really do not know what to do.

1. Can I print an online bank statement from a separate account to cover the rest as banks are closed now and send the letter from the bank at a later date?
2. My EE profile will expire if I decline ITA
3. Will SINP send my nomination again if I create a new EE profile as my Sinp certificate says my nomination expires on the 28th of Oct
4. When it says I have 1 day left to submit, does that mean it expires at 12 midnight Canadian time
Please I need your advice.

Hi guys,

I am filling my PR application and in my personal history, I noticed I made an error in the dates I filled in my Schedule A form when I applied for sinp, Does your nominated province share all forms submitted at the time of the PNP application with CIC

I am actually worried about this as I do not want it affecting my application on ground of misrepresentation.

Your advice will be highly appreciated

No, that is not a cause for concern so far the names appear consistently in your other documents. The order in which they appear is not an issue, they're still your names especially if captured on your international passport.

Yes. The line actually asks for ALL bank statements and not just where you have proof of funds. We can get away with asking for 2 or 3 statements but not including any at all would be fishy. My opinion sha.

The tests carried out at the port health in Lagos and Abuja are, your weight, your bp and sometimes a measuring tape to measure your tummy. They also ask for your LMP.

The letter from the doctor seems fine, you also need a correspondence from the hospital stating the hospital charges.

Take both letters with you for your interview and your budget sheet. If you don't have a host, make sure you have details of where you will be staying and the amount included in your budget sheet.

Application Status has changed to Issued.

Administrative processing showing up during issuance of your visa is normal. Everybody gets it, but because most people don't track it they don't know. It normally shows up for like a day or two then changes to "Issued". Hopefully that is your case. Relax

Hopefully it changes to issued in the next one or two business days (take note that you may also be called in for an interview randomly or for something that needs attention/clarification).

Be guided not to wait more than two days of seeing "issued" before going to DHL in case they "fail" to reach you on application status right on time, particularly if you are in a hurry, you will be surprised to see it was always ready for pickup. Dunno why it's been happening so to some peeps though. This is for you and others that may find themselves in that situation!

Hopefully it changes to issued early next week. I really appreciate your response.

It is part of the various "statuses" (no status, ready, administrative processing, issued) you will see your application go and pass through after submission for dropbox renewal if you check and monitor via the CEAC status tracker, not a big deal though. It can enter that status this morning and change soon - same day, next day or two! Afraid of something? You will only be called in for an interview /a talk if need be tops.... Satisfied?

@Demiyke. Thanks I got my 2 years B1/B2 visa was successfully renewed via dropbox.

I was tracking it at https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==

The application was submitted on 9/06/2016. The process went from No Status to Ready by 13/06/2016, to Administrative proccessing on 14 to 15 June 2016 and finally issue on 15/06/2016. To know if your passport is ready for pickup send a blank email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com. Enter your passport number in the subject line. You will receive a reply within 24 hours. I thanks all the member @ladyG, that helped with the dropbox renewal.
