but she said her husband did this to her! Why WhyAccording to her, her shop has been closed down since friday because her husband believes she's getting proud because she has a successful business!Haba! this lie is so obvious na. She isn't taking the proceeds anywhere else apart from still spending on their kids. Or maybe she stopped being as submissive as she was earlier. However, I think the reason given on here isn't the truth. But no matter what, he shouldn't have raised his hands on her. Whatever happens to divorce.... ![]() |

Building good relationships with your co-workers is a step to having a successful career and managing differences with your co-Workers. Co-workers can serve as an anchor or support group to enhance your learning to excel in your job role, managing bosses, dealing with other co-workers or dealing with a tragedy in your life. Most people spend more time with their co-workers than they spend at home with their family or friends. In his article on forming workplace relationships, David Ingram states how co-workers spend a considerable amount of their time with each other and how this increases the performance rate of a co-worker. Therefore, it is only natural to gravitate towards people in the workspace and form relationships. They become an extension of ourselves. Which is why having a good rapport with your co-workers is important. In the reverse, likely tension with even one co-worker can cause you discomfort and lack of focus, until it is resolved. Here are four ways to building a good relationship with your colleagues at the workplace: Join your emotions and intelligence Empathy is important is the workplace. Empathy is a form of emotional intelligence, which is the quality of understanding other people’s perspectives, orientation, emotions and actions, whether or not they are the same with yours. Showing genuine concern for your co-workers engenders trust and amicability. It shows that you care for things or people other than yourself. To show genuine concern, uphold values of respect, politeness, humility and integrity. This would help your working relationship with others. Do unto others According to author, Dani Johnson, about acquiring people skills to change every area of our lives, she states, “You work with people and if you treat them badly, they won’t want to listen or work with you.” Respect is a two-way action; it is only reciprocated when you treat people with the same gesture. Showing respect could entail accepting other people’s views without imposing your own; maintaining boundaries, and acknowledging that people want their space; addressing people as they wish to be acknowledged, among others. This would help your working relationship with others. Think first, talk last The manner in which you frame your words has an effect on others. In communicating effectively with your colleagues you can go with these two steps: the first is transmission, that is, select the appropriate words which pass across your message and make sure the recipient understands as well. Do not assume that the message has been passed across properly. The second is through reception. Communication is a two-way street, do not be eager to respond to discussions or queries, rather pay attention to what the other person is saying. Ask questions and clarify. This shows that you are paying attention. Acknowledge that we are not the same A workplace is filled with different people from different backgrounds. Not everyone would do things the way you are accustomed to. Make room for differences, especially religious orientation, sexual orientation, cultural orientation, work habit preferences, among others. Learn to accept them for who they are. Rather than focusing on the things you disagree with, take a human perspective and look to the qualities that make the person special. At the end of the day, relating well with your colleagues at the office is not just a plus for the company, but also for you as well. These co-workers sometimes turn out to be long-time friends. http://www.midelmedia.com/how-to-manage-differences-with-your-co-workers/ |

There is tension in Kogi state following the arrest of Funsho Olumoko, former chairman of Ijumu local government area of the state. Vanguard reports that police apprehended Olumoko in his Ekinrin Adde residence at about 1.30am on Tuesday, March 22, and took him to an unknown destination. Heavily armed police officers were said to have come in four Hilux vans, used a ladder to climb the fence, smashed the doors of the residence, broke into the ceilings and eventually took Olumoko. Yesterday, March 21, Olumoko who is described as brother of James Faleke, the running mate to late Abubakar Audu in the 2015 Kogi governorship election, addressed a press conference. Speaking on behalf of the community, he strongly criticized Governor Yahaya Bello for trying to repaint and rename the primary health centre built in the community by the federal government in 2007 as a new project to be commissioned by the governor’s wife on Tuesday. When contacted, EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren said he was not aware of the investigation and also added that even if the investigation had started, it was not possible to put sensitive information in the public domain until it was necessary to do so.I don't know why some people can't keep somethings classified until all the necessary conclusions are made. |
All thanks to GEJ just for this... He left the legacy of freedom of speech. |
![]() Jonathan defied the first law of power by practically going against his supposed godfather. Although OBJ's calculations of installing GEJ was obscurely transparent because his choice of Yar'adua was not without a baggage call Jonathan. He (OBJ) knew that President Yar'adua's time on earth as of then was ticking towards its end and he grabbed that opportunity to conceal his unforgiving intention of punishing the North (Atiku), but fate played its destined role and power went back to the north. What he failed to anticipate was the deceptive arrogant nature of Jonathan. This manifested to the extent that the supposed puppet outsmarted the godfather by calling him a motor-park tout. ![]() |

This same present Government almost crucified the previous Government for trying to embark on this dangerous quest. In any case of meltdown of the plant, radioactivity will destroy and kill many innocent Nigerians... So much for hypocrisy. |
These demons won't just give up already.Useless, selfish and deadly buffoons. ![]() |
How is this even news worthy? The man who has done nothing for Nigeria. The man who once said telephone isn't meant for poor man. The man who objected to President Yar'adua's proposal of paying Nigerian Graduates the sum of N400,000 to start businesses instead of NYSC. The man whose town has poor or no motor-able roads even when he was senate president for more than 11 years. |
Ideally, the 9 year thing was okay. Once one is conversant with the internal environment and its configuration, any other thing should be simpler than it is termed or assumed by others. |
