Yeah I did they said they want an average of 70% but would consider lower based on certain things.and im placed at 65%....just want advice

hey fellas....it been a while since i was here......so far i have applied to MUN, SAIT and Lambton..... although the lambton agent at maple says i should send her my details in january..so fingers crossed oh.i still feel i need to apply to 2 or 3 more schools though. any suggestions?

onye oma didnt mean to upset u and i know as a futoite u have been frustrated at times too,it still doesnt take away the fact that im a FUTO guy through and through. all schools have their perks and no matter wat i wont regret going to futo because i certainly have gained alot their.so forgive me for voicing my frustration. no harm intended

Do you have a website? if you do, upload it on the site as well, if you dont, just mention it to them and they know that not all researches made it out there, but if you have lied to them that your research made Jonathan Wins, then, be ready to support it with facts.

These MUN peeps are funny oh.they want me to summarize any research i did and list publications.the closest thing i have done close to a research is my final year project. what do i do biko?

Onye oma: Well, it depends on some factors:

1) If you wish to venture into academia...Research based Masters is ur best bet while Course based masters is best if you wish to go into the Industry.

2)With a Research Based Masters,you're most likely to get funding/scholarship which is not obtainable in course based masters.

3)If you wish to secure an admission into a Masters course very easily, I'll advise you to go for course based as you won't be required to get a supervisor unlike Research based masters (which might take forever).
