Veteran music producer OJB Jezreel openly calls Kokomaster Dbanj out in a recent post-surgery interview with Inspiration FM's Gloria Maduka.

In this interview he talked about the controversy surrounding his donations and revealed celebs used it as competition, especially Dbanj. The reason why he is upset with the singer is during his fund raiser there were rumours that D'banj gave his former music producer N7m but the report was not denied, neither did he attempt to set the record straight.

He says,

"The most disappointing one for me is D'banj because he passed through my hands, he was trained under my tutelage. That is offensive. I don't care if you're with Kanye West, you can't forget your root. I won't call anybody else's name but I will call his because it hurts. His own hurts very deep. And he never tried to reach out to me. It's not like we parted on fighting terms. He told me he had to go to London and he went. And when he came back it was Don Jazzy, and I said OK, that's fine. And what he did worked and I'm very proud of him, the love, that's why it hurts more. He should have come out to say no, I don't know why you people are saying all this, I didn't give OJB N7million, maybe a part of him felt embarrassed because at the end of the day, really, are you not supposed to do something?" OJB says during the interview

He continues...

"When P-Square gave me N5million cheque, everybody started treating as a competition. They were like, they brought N5m, I want to show that I can do more, or equal it. So they will come to my house, some will drop N2m, N1m, you say thank you, they take pictures and go away. Then you drop the cheque in your account and you see that almost N4/5million is being returned back to you that it didn't clear. You call them and tell them and they tell you they are coming but they haven't picked the cheques till now.

"The shocking ones are not even the bounced cheques. It's the ones that when they are coming to meet you in the house to give you money, they come with a whole camera crew. Then they will say I'm donating one million naira to you and the cameras start recording and maybe the guy's tape stops, and he says let's take that again (Laughs).

"There were people in my dialysis that I gave N100k each to pay for their dialysis, we didn't publicise it, we didn't take photos with them, because I felt that was unnecessary."

Whew! I never knew this thread turned to a battle zone. To be honest, if we can accept some of our so-called celebrities despite their wack lyrics, i see no reason to hate on this little girl. For her age, she did amazingly well. Its a terrible thing to say she has no career in music. Does D'Banj possess a good singing voice?

When we comment, remember we are talking about a kid here not our mate. You guys were too hard on her. If your kid had a passion in music and dance, would you scold her this way on her first attempt? Haba!

tony ayo: There's nothing amazing about the video and the song, the only good thing in the video is clearance, for the good direct. My question is must the kiddo become a musician? She won nigerians got talent not nigerian idols for crying out loud, if she seriously wants to be a musician, what she needs is training, as a young kid she'll adapt to it quickly.
Yes, its not compulsory for her to be a musician but this song/video can stand against some materials our so-called established artistes have released. She won Nigerians Got Talent for dancing, and that doesn't mean she can't display other talents. How many young artistes like this do we have in Nigeria? None! Because they are not encouraged or publicised. If this was Tonto Dikeh's video it would have hit frontpage asap.
For a debut single, I'll say she has done well.
She needs training like you said, who doesn't anyway?
Romance › Re: She Slept With My Best Friend by mitchyy(f): 2:32pm On Dec 02, 2013
Yes, you can forgive her and your friend. But that doesn't mean you should take her back. If she had done it with a stranger that you probably might not see, its a different case. The relationship will definitely be awkward after this cus the trio of you won't be free with each other.

To be honest, a girl who can boldly sleep with your best friend, has 30% chance of changing. If you have a large heart and think you won't bring up the past again then forgive and take her back. If I were in your shoes, I'll never set my eyes on my friend and ex ever again. The memories will definitely keep hurting.

Some ladies are just unbelievable!

This is the stunning visuals for her single titled ‘Amarachi’s Dance‘, directed by Clarence Peters.
I love this video to bits and i really hope she is signed up to a good record label. This talent must not be left to wither like other competition winners.

tanimola22: My brother,

Your analysis might work in a sane environment like where you live, but I am not sure this would be the case in Nigeria. The disparity has been on for ages. Even my dead uncle who worked as an electrician for what is now called Total Fina Elf enjoyed the salary disparity while he was alive and did a couple of tangible things. His colleagues who were electricians elsewhere could not even smell his level, not to talk of competing with him in terms of quality of life. In fact, his own elder brother who was a senior manager at VF could not measure up to him in almost every ramification. This was as far back as in the 1980s-90s. Owo epo has been doing wonders for a long time, not today. Imagine my regular friend has suddenly become a Nigerian big boy overnight just because he was able to pass Total`s aptitude testssss and speak good oyinbo at the several interviews held by Total.

So, mhen, I think we should be aiming at taking advantage of the armed robber salaries that all these oil and gas companies offer.  At least, that is what I am trying to do. Please do take advantage of it if you have the opportunity.

Who talk say good life no good for a young man? The people wey say 'Money, Power, Respect' are not liars at all at all.

Truly true,

Armed robber salaries? This got me cracking. Lmao!

dasparrow: I will be honest with you, I spoil dogs too. Since I currently don't have a dog, I spoil my brother's dog anytime I stop by at my parent's home. I am the type that will want to take my dog for an annual checkup to the veterinarian. I purchased a lot of books on amazon.com on proper dog care and read a lot of dog magazines. I am the type that will enter the kitchen and make all natural dog treats for my co-workers' dogs and they come back to give me feedback on how their dogs went crazy for the freshly baked treats that I made for them. I am an avid dog fancier and really like dogs a lot. I am also from a pet loving family so my mom and siblings all love animals.

I don't have my dog yet but I have already purchased a dog bed for my future dog and purchased a dog bed for my brother's dog. I purchased dog shampoos and conditioners for my brother's dog and my future dog. I also purchased toys, brushes, combs, vitamins, feeding bowls and much more. I know the average Nigerian will equally look at me and think I am crazy to purchase all these items for a dog but it is what it is.

As for those saying ""person never chop, dog wan chop," I say that is not my business. If people cannot feed and provide for their children adequately, then they shouldn't be selfish and bring innocent children into the world to suffer. If I cannot provide adequately for my dog, I won't acquire one. However, If I choose to acquire a dog, then I will make every effort to be a good pet owner and provide adequately for my dog. I will not starve my dog because some Nigerians cannot afford to feed. Who asked them to make a whole bunch of babies when they know they lack the finances to take care of them?
Awesome. At some point thought i was the crazy one. I remember the day our dog back home mistakenly got out, he couldn't get back in and got hit by a car along the road. I searched and searched for hours till i found him lying on the road covered in blood. With tears in my eyes i carried him in the car and ran into the veterinary hospital. The doc was laughing when he saw how distraught i was with my bloodied dog in my arms and i felt like smacking his face right there. How can my dog be dying and you think its funny. Majority of Nigerians are alien to displaying emotions for pets or giving them preferential treatment. They can even insult you for that angry

dasparrow: They love their dogs and cats more than they love black people so wetin you expect? They buy their dogs and cats Christmas gifts, take their dogs to doggie day care whilst they are at work and some take their dogs to work with them if the employer allows it. They treat their dogs and cats like they are their human children. They no dey take their pets play which is okay by me.
I grew up with dogs. When I was very little, dad got a dog for every child. I really don't get why some people mock my love for dogs. They keep saying 'food wey person go chop na dog go still chop'?
Yes I'll agree, I love dogs to a fault. I can spend my last penny for my dog. No biggie. I usually bring my boyfriend's Maltese named Cindy to live with me 2weeks out of every month until we called it quits.

While Cindy was with me, my cousin liked her but hated the way I would let her lie beside me on my bed, brush her hair everyday, feed her with recommended dog food, fried egg, indomie with beef and chin chin(her favourite). Lol.

I think most Nigerians are alien to preferential dog treatment. Maybe they need to watch Dog Whisperer smiley

Exactly my thought. Its possible she did it. Its also possible the manager has been making advances, she refused, then she was being framed up for this. How come she still hasn't met the bail conditions if she had that kind of money somewhere?

Something tells me there's more to it. I might be wrong though
