I don't think eating avocado is bad in pregnancy. Avocado is very very rich. Its just best to eat it in moderation and not overload your system with it.

When I was travelled to stay with my folks due to morning sickness, avocado was my folic acid. Lol. We had two trees in the compound and the avocados were big and juicy. It was just so tempting to want to eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lol

please mamas someone introduce me to pears soap, lotion, powder, oil.... she said is what she use for her kids though have not bought any soap yet . please how good is pears baby products .

I can't really tell and I don't know anyone who has used it for long. I've only used the pears body lotion once and didn't really see any impact on his skin.
Here are some of the affordable body products I've used for my kid. Maybe it will help:

Palm kernel oil: Used from 0 - a little above 1year
Vaseline blue seal for baby: Used on his skin and butt from 1year to 1year6months
Coconut oil mixed with Shea butter: His current cream
Black soap infused with palm kernel oil: 6months till present
Cussons baby powder
Cussons baby shampoo (The lather isn't soft enough for babies in my opinion)
Baby Tetmosol (When he had skin ish)


Others I've used that are quite pricey are:
Chicco baby moments shampoo
Chicco baby powder
Aveeno wash
Namaste organics calendula oil


Hopefully, you'll find someone on this thread who has used pears products for their kids and can give you a good review.

I went to the first one, got to the venue and I didn't like the settings (I'm not a snob but I've had enough food poisoning from parties to be smart ). So I just took a plate of porridge (no stew) and fried chicken for the kids. (Hint: salads, jollof rice, fried rice and vegetable soup are easiest to get poisoning from and stew too). I was doing shakara that I had another party (which I joined the cooking crew o,.so I could vouch for the food) and my target was the fresh fish ,eforiro and amala fele.
I was in a hurry to leave this party but the Alfas naming the baby just refused to announce the name not till 6 O'clock by which time I was glaring daggers at them.... . Then time to go to the other party and my convoy was delaying me . Going back and forth.....by the time we reached the second party.....mmmmmmm

There is a big difference between discipline and outright abuse.

What would you say about a teenager in University asking her dad for school fees and he angrily says she should go and sleep with men to get money, simply because he is quarreling with their mother?
Now that the lady has hustled her way through school by herself, taking up menial jobs and amounted to something good in life, he expects her to still recognize him as her father.
That is just the least compared to the physical and mental abuse the lady has gone through in her so-called father's hands. The scars on her body tell the story. And no, she wasn't a stubborn child.

People have no idea how abusive some parents can be. And a lot of them don't speak up

We are doing fine. I've done scan thrice and they weren't sure of the gender. So I'm still left in the dark.
Haven't bought anything yet. Waiting to confirm gender.

Sometimes I feel like crying when I realize August has 3 bloody months in between. Why does it have to be so far?

And as other mamas have said, lipton should be avoided for now.
