comtem2011: I think the poster that advised the use of the silverbird for skin issue said "its to be diluted". Not used directly on the skin. Oh didn't see that. Was just responding to the comment I saw |

hunniesuzie: Re all this talk about fake silverbird and original. Some children's skins are more sensitive than others. It is not advisable to put silverbird on an infant's skin. My son had terrible reaction from silverbird on his skin that I even bought in healthplus so it has nothing to do with fake or original. If you do it and it works, then thank God for you but it's not something I would advise or recommend. Put on clothes, use to steam yes no problem
cc Silverbird users I can't even use Silverbird directly on my skin, how much more on my baby. What I did was to put a few drops on his bib and blanket for him to inhale. And even at that, i made sure it's diluted properly with baby oil before use. The thing is quite harsh though |

Bennyandrews: Hello beautiful pple on dis group.I thank God for the babies born and the beautiful ones yet unborn.May God give us good health nd healthy babies that will bring joy to us.i am a ftm nd i am 13 week pregnant.my MIL was disturbing me to go see an ijaw woman dat massages belly nd gives herbal medicine.I reluctantly went there nd i was massaged only 4 dem to give me some root in mixed with aromatic schnapps.I collected it 4rm her but i have not been able to drink it as she said that i have to stop taking d drugs prescribed by my doctors. Please ladies and mothers in the house, what do i do?i dont know if its safe. After my experience, I wouldn't advise anyone to see these people at the early stage of pregnancy. My mum took me to see one who claimed she can help with my morning sickness while I was still searching for my drug to curb it. At 12weeks, this woman touched my stomach and whispered to my mum that I'm not pregnant. Despite telling her I don't want my tummy to be massaged, she still tried to massage it but I stopped her. First trimester is a delicate stage. So its best to be careful with whatever treatment you accept. Please explain these to your dh and let him be the one to talk to your mil. By the way, what drug did your doc prescribe that she wants you to stop taking? |

ahnie: Hello mummy H. Which part of delta state?in asaba specially okwe general hospital you don't pay for Cs(fact),even people from Onitsha axis troops in there to deliver Cs/Vd.all you need do is to buy the essential drugs and whatever if its CS.
You only pay when you re been referred to other facilities CS in general hospital in Warri is 60k. I don't know about Asaba. This is the first time I'll hear CS is free in a general hospital. Many govt hospitals I know charge a small fee for it |

Bubewilson: Thanks for your response. I have the passion to serve and currently volunteer in an NGO. Though I haven't done much to show for it but am improving. However, most of the adverts I see require experiences which I don't have. Please which of the job adverts sites do you use? You can volunteer with Spell Africa. Previous experience doesn't count. okeoghene4real: pls i need solution to this stomach pains that radiate from my lower abdomen to my upper abdomen. was at the hospital yesterday, did scan and was told all is well. no fibroid, no cysts. doctor said that there are some pains which is beyond explaination. am hungry but scared to eat cause of pain and vomiting, can't take fluids cos na vomit get me. am just 9wks gone . with all these complain to doc, i was only given paracetamol and paludine for malaria preventive Doctors are always careful when prescribing drugs at this early stage. I'm sure that's why you were given just PCM. Try as much as possible to rest and up your fluid intake. Try to chew on ice blocks if drinking water makes you vomit. Its what my doc asked me to do during my time. If the pain becomes unbearable, go back to your doc |

Hannydimples: Good evening mamas please does anyone know how much CS costs in general hospital? The price varies. In Delta, its 60k. In some other states, its 80k. In some general hospitals in Lagos, its 70k. Just pick a particular hospital and make enquiries directly. CS is expensive in most private hospitals. My hospital recently upped their price from 250k to 350k The earlier you book, the better, seeing that you are almost due already |

That is why couples need to discuss things like these before getting married. I and my husband discussed this and resolved that nobody comes to stay with us, at least during the first 5years of our marriage. Any in-law who visits shouldn't stay more than a few weeks, and they must inform us before coming. This decision we made together has really helped us. Thankfully, my family members as well as inlaws all have their own houses and they don't even fancy moving in to stay with us. Everyone has peace of mind.
Things like these are always bound to happen when you and your wife didn't have a prior discussion about this. I expect your wife to know better. Your marriage is too young for this. Its even worse that you have a small apartment. Your wife and her sister are not being fair to you |

Kyemuz: What is happening these days, Jehovah How many men have lost their life to the women they paid money and took oath to be their wife. I just can't place this happenings, its really appalling God help some men It goes both ways. God help some men and women. The beating could also have resulted in her death. I've seen more than enough when it comes to domestic violence. When someone locks the entire house just so you can't escape when being beaten, you have no idea how scary it can be. Her mistake was using a knife to try and and scare him away thinking it'll stop the beating. I don't know what truly happened but a scene like this is very very possible. Let the court decide her fate not all those itchy fingers I'm seeing all over this thread that don't understand anything about domestic violence |

Mummydd: Thanks for the response dear. Am thinking of not doing it, not necessarily cos of the money but read online that the X-ray may negatively affect the baby. Do you think so? The pelvimetry I did was a scan, it wasn't radiological. I don't know which is more accurate. You can opt for a scan if you are not comfortable with an X-ray |

soberdrunk: The sauce looks yummy!! I wonder why people eat rice with fork........ I used spoon while growing up. But in school, my roommate made me get used to eating rice with fork at home. I guess it just kind of stuck to me ever since. If I don't see fork to use, I look for a teaspoon. I won't enjoy the rice if I use regular tablespoon. Weird, I know. |
