InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Mixty: 10:27am On Jan 09, 2016
You are the slowpoke here. Your comment clearly indicated the level of decadence in the educational sector.
You said it is the responsibility of the business owners to source for dollars. However, you are quite aware that your ATM can no longer be used for business transactions abroad. In addition, there is so much instability in the value of Naira. As we speak today, the govt does not allow deposit of dollars into domiciliary accounts. So what are you saying? The govt has made it very hard to source for dollars at competitive rates but you have solely put the blame on the average Nigerian trader for the obvious mismanagement of the economy by our leaders. You are a bit dumb. wink

pappilo:
You are a grade 1 slowpoke. It is not the government's responsibility to help source dollars to fund the ostentatious lifestyles of entitled new middle class clowns like yourself.

Why should the government source forex to help import all kinds of useless items that do not stimulate the economy. There is already an avenue for legitimate business people who need forex to import legitimate and approved items.

If you need dollars go and source it from the open market and pay the going rate dictated by demand and supply. Dont wait for government to source dollars for you.

The government's priority is the economy and the ordinary man on the street.
PoliticsRe: A Brief History Of OKUN - The Yorubas In Kogi State. by Mixty: 3:31pm On Dec 30, 2015
Flyoruboy:
No. I am a proud Ijesha man/Yoruba/Oodua Nationalist -- also have Egba and Igbomina blood. All Yorubas are 'cut from the same clothe', so to speak, by the unshakable will of the Most High, be you Okun, Ijebu, Ijesha, Ekiti, Egba, Oyo, igbomina, Ondo, Akoko, etc. That is why we share natural borders, irrespective of the geopolitical zone we may find ourselves within present day Nigeria. In a Yoruba federation, the Okuns would most likely have their own state or province, just as the Ekitis presently do, and would be spared from the current marginalization they are presently facing in Kogi, wherein they are perpetually at the mercy of the larger ethnic groups. Whatever shred of 'identity crisis' afflicting them is entirely artificial and is a consequence of being lumped and grafted into an unworkable union that is the present day Kogi state, thereby starving them of much needed and deserved development. #FACT.
Ok...you convinced me. I agree. Okun people were forced into a union with strange bed fellows. Most Okun people and Kwara Yorubas see themselves as yorubas and detest being called northerners.

Flyoruboy:
Guy, abeg shove your suggestion up your arse coz we Yorubas aren't buying that shyt. Nahhh. When (not if) this country finally disintegrates and everybody bears their papa name, no single Okun Yoruba will be left out of the Yoruba Nation that'll emerge from its carcass. We Yorubas ain't buying your divide-and-rule tactics. The Okuns consent wasn't sought when they were lumped with the North as a part of presentday Kogi state. Had they been given an option, without a doubt they would've opted to be with their kith-and-kin in SW. As you can see, no single Okun has so far dissociated him/herself from their larger Yoruba family so far on this thread. That should tell you that suggestions like yours aren't welcome. So just shove it.
Lol. You taking this personal. Are you an okun man?
PoliticsRe: A Brief History Of OKUN - The Yorubas In Kogi State. by Mixty: 8:46am On Dec 30, 2015
There are different tales of the history of Okun people though. Some say they come from Ibadan while others insist we come from Ile-Ife. Some say Yagba was founded by a woman known as IYA AGBA (Elderly woman). So the stories differ.
One thing the stories have in common is that they emanated from Yorubaland.

PoliticsRe: A Brief History Of OKUN - The Yorubas In Kogi State. by Mixty: 8:42am On Dec 30, 2015
I think okun people need to carve a unique identity for themselves. Like the OP rightly pointed out, there seems to be some identity crisis in the beautiful land of Okun. The Yorubas do not sometimes regard them as core Yorubas while the Northerners also do not fully accept Okun. They are cut in between North or South West, in particular Yorubas.
When favourable positions go to the South West, the Okun people lose out while they also fail to claim goodies assigned to the North.
That is why I would suggest that Okun people approach other small ethnic groups in the Middle Belt and carve an identity as MIDDLE BELTERS! That way, they can fight and get whatever entitlements they deserve

NONSENSE TALK.
PURE BALDERDASH
As usual, some ignoramus like you will say:
When Chelsea wins, It's Mourinho
When Chelsea loses, it's the players.
GARBAGE TALK!
A coach takes responsibility for the success and failure of his team. If players are sabotaging his effort, it means his coaching and leadership skills are not effective and therefore he should be shown the way out.

If we keep having people like you in Nigeria, the Nigerian political leadership will never see improvement.
Shymm3x:
Not one of the best - he is the fvcking best and should be the greatest when it is all said and done.

Sad day for real Chelsea football fans, especially those of us who have been supporting the team, from way back when we were mediocre and our coaches were both players and coaches. Way before Abramovich came with his billions. Days when we just enjoyed watching Zola thrill us with his amazing skills and enjoy the grittiness and heart of our midget captain, Dennis Wise.

Jose Mourinho brought the winning mentality to Chelsea and created a style/philosophy/ ideology - that won us trophies and gave us bragging rights, even when he was away after first spell. He's Chelsea and Chelsea is Mourinho. He'll definitely go into the annals of history as the greatest coach we ever had and one of the best brains to ever coach in the EPL. The special one and an enigma.

They sabotaged his effort this season and this won't even put a dent on his CV. Hopefully, he'll move to the Bundesliga and win trophies there before retiring from club football.

He should get close to £40million in compensation for the sack. That's not bad for Mr. Chelsea.

We love you, Jose Mourinho - the greatest one. Jose! Jose!! Jose!!!

blaise26abj:
I disagree with u on that. The Team mourinho built won those cups. The style of play didn't change and some of the coaches after him just rode the mourinho team to glory. Mourinho lifted Chelsea to one of the big 4 status. Leaving this scattered TEAM will hurt chelsea more than ever. Let's see how the fans react this weekend. I'm not a Chelsea fan, but if I were, I wld show my grievance by booing some of the players.
You are not a Chelsea fan. leave it at that. Muchto your astonishment, we will win more trophies than you ever envisaged.

Football is about results, not individual reputation. If a person continually produces poor results and blame everyone else except himself, he should be shown the exit door. This is a man who said his players were betraying him. For common sense sake, if a leader loses the influence of his followers, what is left of that leader? Leaders take overall responsibility. it is never the followers. it is the sole responsibility of the coach to motivate his players to get good results. once that control is gone, the leader os as useless as k in knowledge.

Mou needed to go. we needed a breath of fresh air and thank goodness we have got it.

Mark my word, Chelsea would come to regret their action. No other coach can do a Mouriho in Chelsea.
You are an ignoramus for saying that. is Mou bigger than Chelsea? Haven't we won all 4 cups without Mourinho?
Look my friend, no one is bigger than Chelsea. No one!

PoliticsRe: President Buhari Greets His Favorite Hausa Musician At The Kaduna Music Festival by Mixty: 5:43pm On Dec 12, 2015
The absurdity of this our president knows no bounds. He is busy gallivanting from one place to another while the country suffers the worst economic and security challenge ever in her history. This week, he came from Paris. Days after, he jumped to Cotonou to attend a useless burial when he is yet to visit any ofthe IDPs in Nigeria. Today, he is partying around at the Kaduna Music Festival which has been tagged a jamboreee.

Is this the same Buhari I voted for? Is this the same Buhari of 1983? I am not sure.
PoliticsRe: Photos Of Buhari At The Anyiam-osigwe Lecture by Mixty: 5:28pm On Dec 11, 2015
Buhari will leave serious national issues and be attending one meaningless function to another.
That was how the baba attended a burial ceremony in faraway Cotonou when he is yet to visit thousands of people injured or displaced by Boko Haram after 7 months in office.

This is not the change I supported and voted for cry

You don't need to give such a diplomatic and ingratiating excuse.

You should have just told the agitators to piss off and not thrash the forum with noisemaking.

As much as everyone should have a right to a desire, it should not be an excuse to become a nuisance to others.

If anyone wants to promote Biafra, they should go and open a website/forum for it, get their supporters to congregate and stop being nuisances.

That is how I would have put it. After that, if anyone wants to commit suicide because I did, I would offer to buy the noose.
You lack common sense, decorum, etiquette, diplomacy and self-respect.
Have you not changed yet? Don't ever in your life try mentioning my name or responding to this if not....
You are unfit any leadership position whatsoever. You are not fit to even teach a child in nursery school lest he/she would be infested with your foul and gutter language.

Shame on APC.
They rode to power through the effect of the soxial media via lies, propaganda, real and distorted truth, and they now shamelessly think it wise to muzzle free speech.

APC is clearly afraid of criticism since they lack ideas on how to progress the country towards the right direction.

SHAME ON APC
