The constitution of both apc and pdp was channeled towards South after the loss of atiku in 2019 but the latter went contested and that's clearly against party constitution. The primaries was heavily monetised by atiku, enough reasons he left the pdp. He didn't woo Labour as wrongly posited by many rather, Labour Party invited him to run under them.
