Please people, what can make a car have the following ill-performances :
* Tardy/Draggy acceleration or pick-up from start, necessitating need to fully depress the Accelerator & yet the response is weaker & not matching the expected output?
* Losing power & speed when I get to an inclination, hilly place or a rising plane with severe struggling, needing to depress the throttle to high revs?
* Suddenly becoming very freer, faster, speedy, lighter and with much power when it gets to a levelled road or a down sloping way, needing you to deploy the brake pedal. Performs then exceedingly well with good torque, throttle response & speed even at low revs level!
* More fuel consumption?

NB: Smooth engine-running sound is not changed by engaging/switching on the AC
Idling is smooth with cool/solemn sound though dashboard/instrument panels shows idling at 500 -700 revs/min (0.5 - 0.7) & the needles hovers between these 2 values

The '06 750i is a reality but the '09 is still a wish/dream.
Thats cos of d new duty by the FG come jan 1st 2015 and proposed charges on luxury cars. Aside clearing which i have not inquired, i got one for $23k. Not bad a price if u ask me for such a car.

At that price, if it's a clean title, it's a very good deal.

I discovered a very good,well equiped and modern worshop in my location in d north. Now i can comfortably own any car i desire.

Wanted a 2006 model for the festive season, but my further research made me discover the 09. But presently beyond my budget. Its actually worth waiting for.

Don't know where to get an experienced hand, tools to even DIY nor place selling original parts/OEM.

Like yours too, it was buy and drive. Since then, the reasons why I've been to mechanics include:

Servicing,
Once to change the front brake pads,
Once to fix a leaking transmission fluid (later got to know the leak was as a result of damage to the trans-cooler, due to bad roads in my area).

The car has really excellent specs, and everything works. Travelled last week and used about 8 litres to cover a distance of about 100 km (it's a 2.0l, 4 cylinder engine).

I've had offers for the car, but nope, not for sale. Neat inside out, and purrs on the road.

I bet you are going to enjoy yours too.

You saw the explanation given by the governor that JKF took Fed government bond (almost totaling 50 billion Naira ) on which they are deducting monthly from the state allocation from source both the spread-bonds and the accrued interest.
This is a state whose monthly allocation is a paltry sum of about 2billion Naira with no significant nor tangible IGR.
No industry and most of all the workers are civil servants.
But you decided to close your eyes to those explanations.
Perhaps you don't know the meaning of bonds nor understand its implication on the dynamics of governance in that state.
Don't be too quick to attack people when your understanding of a matter is shallow.
I'm not abusing you.
In fact, I don't like the personality of Fayose. But that doesn't give me the impetus to subvert the glaring truth.
