Export1: Hello,
This Autocheck report has been provided at no cost by AuctionExport.com, your key to the north American auto auctions
You entered an invalid VIN: WBAEV11080KK79971
Your VIN needs to be: Exactly 17 characters. For a vehicle manufactured after 1980 (1981 or later model year.) Without the letters I, O, or Q. Thank you Sir. It's valid though. I guess it's because it was never used in USA or Canada. Thank you once again Sir |

femmy2010: I really pity you and feel your pain. More than half a million is a whole lot. Mr Ademola would certainly not know peace as he has taken peace away from a fellow human. Mr Ademola is about loosing a Container loaded with 4cars to Customs Auction and am sure those vehicles too are owned by Nairalanders too. It still baffles me why someone would collect money from client and spend it all on personal use. Damm the guy really has liver ooO. My advise is that you involve the police to recover your hard earned cash. If you need a pointer in the right direction then call me.
The punk ass dude owe me N520,000 too as balance of shipping a container with a 2013 BMW,1999 Camry,2002 Camry and a 1999 Accord. and just recently told me to go ahead with anything I can do as he has no interest in clearing the container. I would do my best to get the said container Gazetted to me but I just wonder what tales he would tell the owner of the cars in the said container? Dude is wickeddddddDD He told me about the container & the contents all along. The problem was that it seemed as if the container accumulated demurrage whose value was more than the the content's. Hence, no seeming profitable wisdom in clearing the container. There was even another container/vehicle that was in your custody which he changed the deed title in order to settle another female debtor of his. He really messed up. How to recoup my cash is my major problem. In fact, the plan was to clear the 1997 Accord & then balance him 300K which I was ready to give him considering that Honda Accord Bulldog is way overpriced at total money value of 850K, aside the time wasted (about 7 months) & the emotional/psychological turmoil. He rubbed fresh highly-concentrated salt into my injury by asking me to forward the 300K first before getting the car. In order not to potentially get burnt 2nd time, I erred on the cautious side. Told him to clear first & then I'll pay him. But he simply could not come up. |

andresia: Thanks bro. One thing that I find curious is that so many pple have fallen victim to same fellow, yet none deemed it fit to shout out but rather choose to remain silent allowing more pipul (including me) to fall victim. It was only when I came out to reveal what has been happening to me that some of them came out. My coming out also prevented many from falling victim. I PM-ed you but I didn't get any response. Kindly send me your e-mail address. A post about my ordeal with him is on your thread. I need your help seriously. He's owing me 562K. I have been thinking, up to the point of causing me depression, how to get my money back. My mail address: seyiogundipe@gmail.com Thank you. |
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by MOBBDEEP: 6:19am On Dec 07, 2014 |
petikal: You have to bear in mind that your contract is really with CBN, not your bank who's merely a representative. Whatever stop/marginal rate CBN offers for each tenor goes across ALL banks, and their bids are usually not far off. This is because CBN states the marginal rate before opening up for bids. So, if a bank bids a rate higher than the marginal rate, it'll be rejected, and one that's <= will be accepted.
The difference between banks is the percentage they deduct from you for their service, which is negligible. Thanks for the whole time & energy. I appreciate deeply . |
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by MOBBDEEP: 11:36pm On Dec 06, 2014 |
petikal: Banks rarely give you CBN rate, unless you're an excellent predictor.
Here are your possible outcomes:
- You specify 12.3%, and bank wins at 12.3%, you get 12.3%. Bank makes no money.
- You specify 12%, bank wins at 11.98%, you miss out. Your money stays in your account.
- You don't specify a minimum, bank bids to their best max and wins, you get the winning percentage minus 0.2-0.4%. Thank you very much. I sincerely appreciate. But you raised more dust for me. Kindly pardon & oblige my inquisitive ignorant mind. Does that means different banks/agents get varying rates depending on their bargaining power? Let me paint a scenario. I give a minimum point of 12% for 182 days to my bank Stanbic IBTC who bidded 12.5% and the CBN final rate for the week is 13.5%. Meanwhile, 1st Bank & Union Bank bidded 13% & 13.5% respectively What is the outcome of the above illustration? Thank you Sir |
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by MOBBDEEP: 4:42pm On Dec 06, 2014 |
Elai147: No. Bids that are equal to or lower than the CBN´s stop rate will be successful. So it actually depends on your bid. Thank you Sir & may God increase your knowledge. Please, I have 3 followup questions to your response which are: * How do the banks (as my agent) make their gains? * Can the bank's bid differs from mine e.g supposing I place a bid of 10%, can the bank go to make a bid of 13% with my money? *How does one ensure that the bank does not jeopardize my bid or trade? NB: Pls, anyone can kindly answer me! |
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by MOBBDEEP: 3:26pm On Dec 05, 2014 |
Pls, can someone kindly help me with this enquiry. Is the same rate applied for all customers irrespective of their agents/banks? I saw a post above me quoting 9.9% whereas another person posted 10.05-13.4% Why the difference? |

GAZZUZZ: OP this is how it works, your plugs were probably never bad in the first place, possibly a rich mixture caused them to fail, the rich mixture was caused by bad 02 sensors. Also you have bad wheel speed sensors.
Now you have serviced injectors (waste of time) replaced plugs (should have just cleaned old ones).
The new plugs will still get dark and fail, CEL will start blinking soon. You will damage your catalyst in in the long run, and I stand corrected but the speed sensors may affect gear shifting and presently your ABS does not work.
Advice: if you can't pay for standard service, don't think the roadside is any better. Replace your O2 sensors and yor wheel speed sensors.
P.s if you can't afford new O2 sensors you can get tokumbor at 5k a piece. Thaose wheel speed sensors cost arround 5-7k for new ones. The knock sensor might not be bad.(Leave it till a re-scan) I thank & appreciate your counsel on behalf of PaKen. Thank you. God will surely reward your benevolence! You are a rare breed! |

More so that our forensic system is very weak. And the quest for basic needs as a direct consequence of the prevalent poverty/suffering does not even give room for looking out for such. |

However, the hitch is that I can only run around & get 1.3M. 1M will be the least manageable fund to put it on Grimaldi Line. dee45: Dear Importers, your fulfilment and safety are Important me. Don't allow DEMMURAGE or ABANDON your cargo again at the sea port. Here are the things that importer should note carefully, otherwise you may be a victim of cargo abandonment. Do you want to be a victim? I know your answer is capital letter NO.
Note these points carefully, as this will protect you save your time and money. .
1. Importer must made up his mind to start a importation business. He has to follow it through and know what it takes. Before you start any importation, you must open your form 'M' and inquire very well about the business you want to start, so that you don't get stuck on the way.
2. Ensure that the money to clear your cargo is already at hand before arrival of vessel .
3. Get a reliable Custom clearing Agent. You can get one either through a refer by friends and Family who had once used the agent service. Or you may contact me.
4.Open up to agent, declare what you have in your consignment and never put your clearing agent in darkness . Most times, apart from those listed on the BL, client tends to have other goods which might known to them. Seriously this might turn to be an issue once custom noticed it. Always open up to your clearing agent, tell him what you have in your consignment, he will be able to defend your consignment carefull. 5. DEMMURAGE is bad, I prayed you will not be a victim. Its a big fat destroyer to importers. Once your consignment is confirmed shipped, notify your agent so as 2 get a valuation down. Go and paying your duties down and get your document ready for examination/releasing to avoid pressure when your consignment arrives.
For more information/enquiry about clearing your cargo within 3days at any Lagos sea Port.
