Jacobswhyte Please any information about M.Sc geology, also what is the difference between masters degree by course work and masters degree by professional. Pls I need a reply.

the major difference between master's degree by course work and professional master's degree is that, by course work, after u obtain your master's degree, you can proceed to for a PhD if u so wish. But professional master's degree ends at master's level.. You can't go further for a PhD degree...

Jobs/VacanciesRe: My Husband Wants Me To Quit My Job. by Mobebi(m): 7:13pm On Jul 22, 2015
In this hard times, you want to resign from your job cos your Husband wants it so. How much is his monthly pay? even if he is being paid millions, don't make that mistake and resign. I know some people will come and start preaching about love and happy home, my sister, abeg no resign o. nothing like your own personal income. everyday I read on blogs where women who resigned their jobs at the orders of their husbands are cryin and asking for help...

if you like resign, Na your toro. when reality dawn on you later, don't come and be asking people for advice. If your husband divorces you tomorrow, how do u cope?

Wetin u go spend four or five years for in the university? is it for you to become a house wife? if yes, then why did u go to the university?
Is there a course in the university that is called HOUSE WIFE? or certificate known as B.Sc in House wife?

Even if heaven go fall, WOMAN, DONT RESIGN FROM YOUR WORK O.

I am a man and I know what I am saying. Wise people listen to counsels .

TheBlackChild Please guys, where exactly am I to upload my NYSC certificate on the application page? Is there a designated space for it like that of the Bsc Certificate? Or is it to be uploaded on the "Certificate" page with other certificates?
Thanks for your anticipated response.

While u are applying, click on the place where ''certificate'' is written... then upload ur NYSC there...

its on the third or fourth page while nu are applying. After your basic information, u click save. After clicking save, another page comes up which is where you will fill in your academics records, after that you click save again. Another page comes comes up about work experience. I think after the work experience, the next page is certificate.... there u just upload your nysc.

If you are a batch c corper, you can go ahead and get the form and apply because by the time we will be doing registration, u must have gotten your NYSC certificate and u will present it. So go ahead pls. don't get me wrong.

Hello everyone
I graduated with a first class degree in mass comm but I want to do something different from my first degree. I have two issues now.
I will be passing out in October and the requirements clearly state that one has to be done with nysc. Dont know if i shld still go ahead and apply.
Secondly, I have 3 choices in mind...a full-time MBA, a masters in IRPM and a masters in marketing. The issue now is whether ill be required to do a pgd in irpm first bfor masters...nd for the mba, I checked d requirements nmd work experience wasnt included in it. Want to confirm from anyone... Marketing is my last choice here.
And on a last note, can I get the best combos for my course of study? Thanks a lot.

You MUST present your NYSC certificate during registration. so finish your NYSC first before applying for master's, not just in unilag alone but all schools in Nigeria.

For IRPM, you can go for it straight if its a full time program, but part time, there are conditions attached to it.

For MBA , dat I can't tell u if its possible .

PoliticsRe: Exclusive: Rotimi Amaechi's wife In A Multi-billion Naira Corruption Scandal by Mobebi(m): 8:43am On Jul 20, 2015
My sister works in the airport in port Harcourt.

She told me one day that Mrs Amaechi would charter a plane from pH to Lagos just to come and make her hair and fly the chartered plane back. making of hair of course we know it won't be more than two hours.

If the person making hair ( hair dresser) is based in Lagos, couldn't Mrs Amaechi just tell her to fly to pH with her equipments to save cost? Also, whenever she did that, she wasn't alone, she would fly with up to 10friends.

and also, u will need to provide another phone number for it too...

so you open a new email address and also if use another phone number... because the system have taken the phone number u registered with earlier , although I know there will still be room for you to cross check all inputs before submitting finally after filling the forms.

so you can still decide not open a new email cos before you submit finally, you still have to make all corrections before submitting.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: I Just Got A Job In Which I Lied I Had Experience! by Mobebi(m): 5:26pm On Jul 14, 2015
Guy, real men will always come for their guys even when the guy bleeps up...

first of all, guy, me no blame you. The Naija unemployment issue is something else.

Just look for a way to learn it asap. call your university friends who read accounting and are working in that your position to see how you can hook up with them so they can put you through.

next time, make u De use your brain before posting something as delicate as letting people know the company.. So many of their workers are here on Nairaland.

Don't give it up, go and face the challenges and before a month u will know the job description well.

BusinessRe: Omi, Ogun Waterside: A Market Where People Still Do Trade By Barter (Photos) by Mobebi(m): 8:41pm On Jul 12, 2015
served in Ogun waterside local government area, to be precise in Abigi.. Abigi is where the administrative functions of the local government is located. Makun-omi is one of the villages in Ogun waterside local government area.

for the records, goods aren't cheap there. but not as expensive as Lagos. plantain is fairly OK, fish too is fairly OK... The market is a seven days or eight days market I.e., it takes place after seven or eight days interval and on the day it falls, it begins in d night and runs to the next day and by 2-3 of the next day, its over.

They are of the Ijebu clan of the Yoruba race, and their Yoruba language no be here o. Na d konk Yoruba... am sure even the ijebus of Ijebu Ode may find it difficult with some of their words because even the Yoruba corpers didn't understand them properly as well.

I saw power there in my whole one year service for about 10days. one funny thing I discovered there is in as much as its in the interior interior part of Ogun state, my Igbo brothers were doing their business there, from that day, I respected the ibos. these people are born hustlers.

finally, the Ogun state government needs to have its presence in the entire Ogun waterside local government. The place too local, but Mtn, Airtel n Glo work perfectly there. u can download a file of 100 megabites within a minute.

CrimeRe: How My Girlfriend And Her Boss Was Scam Yesterday.... by Mobebi(m): 7:29pm On Jun 27, 2015
This is funny but the truth is, it exists..

I served in Ogun state between 2012 July n 2013 June. During our orientation camping, I was able to take an exeat from the camp director to quickly run to the bank and withdraw some money to keep me going, since the 19500 was yet to be paid, and me being a bad spender, had spent all the money I came with.

I took an OKada from the sagamu orientation camp and headed to Gtbank somewhere in sagamu. while on d way, d bike man knowing I was a corper, asked me if he should wait for me. I said yes, since I was given a particular time duration to return to camp.

got the money from d bank, put the money first in my wallet and afterwards put the ATM also. As we got to d nysc gate, lo and behold, I didn't see my money again. the okada man was like, are u sure u took d money? me Wey like money pass anything can't make mistake of not taking my money na. I told him to take me back to d bank, I withdrew again but by the time I came back, the man was no where to be found.

I came to my bunk and narrated the story to the roommates who were actually Ogun state residents, and they were like, I made a mistake of telling him to wait for me, that while I went to withdraw, he also went to do the jazz. That the bike man actually, took the money Spiritually... and its a normal thing there in sagamu among bike riders. In my own case, the money disappeared. I was shocked cos I couldn't believe such things still happen in Nigeria in this present age.

CrimeRe: We Were Arrested For Breaking Covenant With Ogun: Bus Drivers Turn Robbers(PIC) by Mobebi(m): 10:29am On Jun 12, 2015
Within a few months, the suspects said they realised N1.6 million, which was shared evenly among them, with each of the suspects collecting N400,000. But instead of starting a business of their own, they forgot their oath and intensified their robbery operations.

That's why our senators, reps members and politicians are never satisfied...
