Who said cheating in the western societies is not condoled, have we forgotten ex president Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky in office in the white house, he cheated on his wife and she still with him till tomorrow, what of late ex president Kennedy that was assassinated and his many women, what of Golf legend Tiger wood, what of musical idol Bobby Brown, we all know he cheated on his wife (Whitney Houston) before they got divorced in America, what of prince Charles of England, he cheated on his late wife princes Diana, it was only when they got divorced she then had a relationship with Late Dodi the son of the ex Harrods owners, I could count up to a 100 white families were the man cheated, we have western men who come to Nigeria to work and they all cheat on their wives in Nigeria, even when the wives come with them, these so called expatriates, but the wives hardly cheat, now am I right or wrong.
Cheating by male is generally accepted in all culture, and while it is wrong and I don’t support cheating or adultery, the truth has to be told and the reason is this, society frowns on female cheat and the woman also have a lot to lose and again they hardly get noticed after giving birth to 2 or 3 children, their beauty is no longer there, while men still remain attractive to single ladies for numerous reason. Like here in England ladies that know they can’t stay married to one man just don’t get married, what they do is they have babies for 1 or more guys and then they go for council benefit to sustain their lives, it is also applicable in America and other western Europe countries.

I have taken my time to read through this thread and honestly i couldn't agree more with Onchendu & maybe Cohomology. . . . Trust me, i have a very good idea of what you're going through now and all i can tell you to do right now is to GIVE HIM SPACE. . . .

You need to let that brother breathe!!! See, when most guys just hit paydirt, initially it always affects their sense of reasoning as they develop a 'false sense of arrival'. Trust me, i have a lot of them as colleagues and quite a number of them are having issues with their long-term gfs because of their 'new-found status'. . . They now see themselves as God's gift to women and don't see their steady chics as on the same level with them anymore

The smart ones amongst them got married within 6months-1yr of joining the company and start builiding their families. . . while 'they' are still revelling in their new-found status for another 1-2yrs before they finally 'recover'.

By this time, a lot of water has passed under the bridge, they realise their mistake & try to stage a come-back but its most times too late. . . . . .and so they end up with their type of girls. .

My dear, invest your time constructively, work on yourself & up your game, hustle for a better job & improve your self academically. I think the issue of ID card for Edo state is a good thing, do you know how many ghost workers we have in Edo state spread out through all the local government, with Biometric ID card and finger print analysis large scale fraud will be checked in most of this ministry in the state, and the issue of ghost workers will also be eradicated from the system,it could also be used to tackle crime and repeated offenders in the system, if Abuja had such an ID card system 20 years ago James Ibori would have been in jail now for those avestors and roofing sheet he stole in abuja.

The Edo state tax revenue board presently generate about 3 Billion naira monthly,it used to generate just N200,000,000 monthly and with the much needed funds from the cash saved from this ghost workers the state can now fix roads, health care, crime, education and purchase more transformer for PHCN to be able to do their duties in the state effectively.

If you have done the introduction and traditional wedding before you left Nigeria i think i am in a right position to give you advice concerning your bringing your family here, i am also in the UK on a student visa and my wife is here with me, we live in the north east of England and i am doing my Masters here.

(1) If you dont have the marriage certificate, your wife must not apply for the student dependant visa till you have got the marriage certificate.
(2) You will have to travel to Nigeria to show evidence of stamping out and stamping in at the airport by immigration, by travelling to Nigeria you would have proven to the embassy that you attended your wedding.
(3) You have to rent a 2 bed room flat in your name here in the UK,before your wife can apply.
(4) You must show a 3 months old bank statement, meaning you must have been in the UK for 3 months before your wife can join you.
(5) You must get a letter from the International office of your University that they aware your wife is coming to the UK.
(6) Your wife may have to show evidence of working in Nigeria,pay slip,bank statement,lettery from company that she is going to the UK as student dependant.
(7) You have to show letter from you landlord that he is aware your wife is coming.
( You have to put the money to take care of your wife and child in a UK bank account for 28 days, it should come to something like £8,000 for both of them,you can borrow from your friends to fill it for 28 days.

My brother let me take you to Western Europe with that money,that way you can turn the N500,000 into N3,000,000 after working in Europe for 6 months and then come and open a 30 rooms hotel in warri, be wise and the choice is yours, dont start small and do think big brother.

France =visa, ticket and hotel manager job = N500,000
Spain = visa, ticket and male prostutute job = N480,000
