During my interview, more of the questions were around my source of income, how much I earn how I am funded, where I work, my family size, etc, I answered in all honesty. I am yet to receive their feedback, but they didn't demand my bank statement or funding details. I am just calming down, it's 4 weeks since I did the interview

Please, i need advice from those who had done their interview at the german embassy.

I am a married man, propose to apply for master degree in a german university and start in winter 2022 and my brother resident in Germany promises to help me fund my BA.

In this respect, i have these questions to ask
1) is it possible the VO will demand my bank statement to prove my source of income so as to know my monthly salary?

2) will VO request any proof of my employment in Nigeria?

I will appreciate responses from experienced married man here. Thank you

Use the new VIDEX online. It's better as it would indicate and validate all necessary fields.
It's also faster for them to scan the barcode at the embassy.

Up till now there is nothing showing on my portal. But I got a message from the sch yestday to choose a date on Thursday to join them in the discussion forum for them to know me better.

I cancelled my old booking last night and I booked another immediately without any stress.

Yes unless they are planning to add that option to the booking system.

This is what the embassy said and you can check it on their booking platform.

"From November 1st, 2019 the General Consulate will only accept applications with fully funded blocked accounts OR original formal obligations OR a scholarship financed from German public funds or European supported funds"

To my own little understand I think what this means is that by the time you go for the interview you must have fully funded your block account and present a document to that effect. I said this because on the booking platform there is nowhere there that incase you input document for proof of fully funded block account.
