This is probably the best love story ever, after all the ups and downs, the break- ups, cheating and all, they still ended up as ONE! How They Met Annie first met 2face Idibia at Even Ezra Music Studio when she was just fifteen and in her words, "I think there was some electricity that second". They were friends first but had started dating officially by the time they shot the "African Queen" video in 2004. That was when 2Face announced that they were together during an interview. Mehn, they don tey oh... I remember my 16th birthday at Alpha Beach, with me and my friends. When we were going home, we all walked to the bus stop with him and his cousin. Plantashun Boiz had just recorded "Knock Me Off" at the time so he wasn't a star yet. So we got into the bus, he sat in front with his cousin so when we wanted to pay the conductor, he said, "no, he done pay already" I was feeling like a babe. "Hey! My boyfriend paid everybody's bus fare." And that time, bus was like N2.50k or N3 per person for about 14 people. But he told me recently that he didn't eat that night because he paid for everyone." awwwwwww Soon Annie's entertainment career became a lot more difficult as a result of being known as '2Face's girl' and then they had their first breakup, came back, broke up again... She was hurt when word got out that, in quick succession, 2Face had gotten two different women pregnant - Pero Adeniyi and Sumbo Ajala. At that point, the couple broke up. When Pero and Sumbo yet again got pregnant for 2Face, that was when 2Face and Annie had their longest break-up which lasted almost a year and a half. But as they say, love will always find a way, they made up again and Annie gave birth to 2Face's fifth child Isabel and then in 2012, Pero gave birth to his sixth child in the US. Well, Pero couldn't prevent them from being together...smiles! In 2012, 2Face proposed to Annie on Valentine's Day at Jay Jay Okocha's Club 10 in Victoria Island, Lagos. And, they weren't even dating then, although were still on talking terms after he had called her out of the blue a few weeks before, visited her at home and asked for her forgiveness and friendship. According TO eye-witness reports, 2Face took Annie to a quiet section of the club, he knelt down and told her "I KNOW WE have had OUR ups and downs but it will be MY heart's desire for YOU to marry ME" and then presented the dazzling ring and Annie began screaming "YES, YES, YES" after crying her eyes out! Shortly after 2Face's concert when he brought out then- fiancee, Annie during his performance of"African Queen", the two secretly legalized their union in a Lagos registry on Tuesday, May 1 2012. ...hmmn, their super expensive traditional wedding sha sha sha took place on Friday 8th March 2013, equipped with two big wedding parties before & after. The wedding shook akwa ibom... And now their big white wedding is going down live tomorrow in DUBAI from the Jumeirah Beach Hotel to a private island and more!...aint that just amazing! I heard Dubai is already filled with all the Nigerian celebrities sef...#okbye |

The Nigerian Communications Commission has released a new set of interconnection rates for voice services for the country's telecommunications industry targeted at bringing down call tariffs. The review, which will start from April 1, 2013, was agreed on after comprehensive consultations with various stakeholders, the NCC said in a statement on Thursday. "The new termination rates, which significantly reviewed prices downwards, are informed by the depth of competition in the industry, while taking into consideration the position of new entrants and small operators," the commission said in the statement. According to NCC, the termination rates for voice services provided by new entrants and small operators in Nigeria irrespective of the originating network shall be N6.40 from April 1, 2013; N5.20 from April 1, 2014; and N3.90 from April 1, 2015. The termination rates for voice services provided by other operators irrespective of the originating network shall be N4.90 from April 1, 2013; N4.40 from April 1, 2014; and N3.90 from April 1, 2015. The current rate, which is symmetric to all operators, is N8.2. For new entrants and small operators, the tariff drop will be by 21.95 per cent from April 1 this year, while for other operators, the drop will be by 40.2 per cent. "This determination shall take effect from April 1, 2013, and remain valid and binding on licensees for the next three years until further reviewed by the commission," the NCC maintained. According to the NCC, a new entrant is a newly licensed operator entering an existing or new market within zero and three years, while a small operator, for the purpose of the determination, is an existing operator with a market share of zero to 7.5 per cent in terms of subscriber base. {read_more} It will be recalled that the current interconnection rate regulation was implemented through the NCC Interconnection Rate Determination issued on December 21, 2009. Since then, the Nigerian communications market has seen tremendous growth in both, subscriber numbers as well as traffic volumes and available technologies. In June 2012, the commission appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP to undertake a cost study for voice interconnection. In line with its commitment to a policy of openness, transparency, fairness, and participatory regulation, the omission informed stakeholders in July 2012 of its engagement of PWC to advise on the review of interconnection rates for mobile and fixed telephony services. After series of meetings with operators and other stakeholders, PWC provided the commission with recommendations related to the regulation of voice interconnection. http://m.naij.com/news/28286.html |

Sunday evening's episode of the History Channel's hit series 'The Bible' threw up an awkward coincidence when viewers noticed that Satan bore a remarkable resemblance to President Obama. Twitter exploded into life during the airing of the latest edition of the Mark Burnett-produced series with most noting the striking similarities between the 44th President and the devil played by actor Mehdi Ouzaani. The show has been a surprise hit in the ratings, with the religious mini-series attracting 13.1 million viewers on Wednesday - topping television leviathan American Idol's 12.8 million viewers on Wednesday. Right-wing commentator and radio-host Glenn Beck first pointed out the eerie similarity on Saturday, tweeting, 'Anyone else think the Devil in #TheBible Sunday on History Channel looks exactly like That Guy?' Others were simply struck by the clear physical match. Twitter user @Leah Christie, tweeted, 'Oh my word...watching The History Channel's The Bible..does Satan look familiar to anyone else?' While Matthew Gaudet commented, 'Watching The Bible series on the History channel and noticed the guy playing the role of Satan, looks strikingly similar to Obama.'
