kazmanbanjoko:Lolllzz....T'was an honest question...cos he wasnt sure... I once asked sm1 to spell Niger....he asked if it was the state in North Central Nigeria, the Central African country close to Nigeria or d southern region in Nigeria whr we once had militants roaming about. On hearing dat "I just lost faith in mankind" Lol |
My Oga at d top....b careful abt d military cos those guys love coup just d way d average Nigerian loves eba and soup |
donholy28:LWKM.....chai! Guy u no serious. No vex I no dey kom down frm dis bus. Ur change loss or not e no concern me. Driver! Abeg no stop o! I don late for d Wizkid show wey I dey go! Lol.... |
I'm not in support of this guy's suspected crime but we Nigerians always channel our anger and frustration in the wrong direction. If only they had done same to their ex-governor, Sullivan Chime cos I'm sure what he stole from Enugu state's treasury is worth more than a gold necklace. Nonsense! |
Wow! If only the secretariat in my state could look like that. It is buildings like this that make Nigerians look left and right upon arrival in a European country. We need more of such in Nigeria |
Rochas, the Gospel of St. Matthew 6:5 says: "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full." This show of "prayerfullness" is to get get attention and love from the people of Imo state and you have received your reward already. |
HarkymTheOracle:Dude, nice one. Like the positive message you tried to pass across. ![]() |
lawyer:My thoughts exactly.I wonder why GEJ didnt also give Massob contract to protect pipelines. It may have gotten him more votes. Nonsense! |
My man, I schooled in IMSU and I know a lot of rubbish like dis (and some even worse than this) happen in most areas of Owerri where there are lots of hostels. I used to live in Bishop court (u should know it, its not too far from IMSU gate). I lived there when it was flooded with cultist and all sorts of miscreants. Saying I never had peace while I lived in there would be an understatement. It was hell. From one problem to the other. If it not robbery today, it would be harassment or something worse. It was bad to the extent, okada riders (bike men) feared taking people to the area once its past 6pm. I had no option but to pack and go live somewhere else. Luckily for me I got a house in Orji; a family house. That marked the beginning of peace for me during my stay in IMSU. The whole system is corrupt and no one cares. The SUG in IMSU was just a revenue collection agency, nothing more. No project done with the money or accountability of any sort. No wonder, Okorocha scrapped it. There is no one or place you can take the matter, to get this useless act stopped cos the whole system is bleeped up "My advice for you, so go look for a family house, precisely far from school and if possible there should be no hostel close to where you live. Just complete you studies and get out of that bleeped up school". |
No. I won't send any congratulatory message to him until he becomes our president as he told us it was his destiny in 2003. ![]() |
kingbus:Yes it is possible for NNPC not to know all their accounts because these "unknown" accounts were opened by top officials of the corporation in the name of NNPC but were never recorded in its account books but money would be diverted to such accounts by the officials running things in the company. Ever wondered where the $20 billion dollars went instead of the NNPC accounts made available to the CBN and ministry of finance? |
Now I understand why PMB said all ministries and govt agencies would have a one record book. How can an organization such as the NNPC have more than 3 or 4 bank accounts? Oh....I forgot to siphon our money for personal gains. No wonder $20 billion was missing and no one in the corporation didn't say anything the whistle blower and former CBN governor, now Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi blew the lid on the one can of worms in the NNPC PMB please sanitize that organization called NNPC and other subsidiaries under it. |
FOLYKAZE:Bless you for this comment. If only we could do away with local militia completely. They are a source of public nuisance in the Nigerian society. Imagine FG paying MASSOB to protect our pipelines. GEJ made too many mistakes (including the subject of discussion). That man really didn't care about us. His attitude towards Boko Haram said it all. Why then do we have the army, navy and police; to sit in offices and collect salaries? Protecting our lives and properties is their main duty and our pipelines fall in this category. PMB, thank you. We need more changes like dis to bring sanity to our society. |
53cur3m0d3:Obviously you work for Push CV or you know one of those who setup the website or "business" because you seem to explain in detail their plan for Nigerians. If you think I'm wrong, may I ask: how did you know they have become a startup to be reckoned with and also how are you sure they would "supply" the FG with a large workforce in the near future? By the way, I would only believe they are not a scam or fake if I get to meet someone who got a job via their platform. Do you know anyone? |
Morkavictor:I wonder why he isn't on this list cos he rocked eastern Nigeria and Lagos (for sometime) between 2006 and 2007 with his track title "Mam Babei" in which you could obviously see that his rap was "wack". I wonder why he got famous during that period....Oh I forgot the chorus was quite catchy |
OP, I guess when you wrote "cockpit", you mistook it for "overhead luggage compartment" because a cockpit refers to where the pilot and co-pilot sit while carrying out their job of taking passengers or goods safely to the specified destinations. PTN |
PMB, I don't give a damn if they were former soldiers like you, former classmates of yours in the military school or former heads of states. Please investigate (and if found guilty, prosecute) these two men shining teeth beside you and on other one that lives in a hill top house in Minna, Niger state. Thank God the Halliburton bribery scandal has been reopened. Hoping it doesn't end like all other investigations before it. Dem dey rally round PMB cos dem dey fear wetin dey wait dem for front. Former Presidents.....who did nothing but bring the country to its knees ![]() |
LaRoyalHighness:The last two became necessary due to threats of insecurity at places of worship especially due to Boko Haram attacks |
shininglite:Meanwhile, I don't give a shit about his accent, all I need is for him to take care of security, employment and power while reducing corruption to a seemingly non-existent level. Na accent wan put food for my table? ![]() |

OP, I think you forgot your brain in your village cos there is nothing wrong with what they wore. By the way, your grammar was wrong. "Couples"?! Haba! Happy married life....Mr and Mrs |
OP, which secondary school you go? Abi u neva see map of Africa before? Since when Chad, Niger and Cameroon become West African countries? |
What a disgrace! What did Jay-z do for the people of Kwara state, that merited all these pomp and pageantry? His wife was even brought to Nigeria with a huge amount of money just to sing our national anthem. Whereas a man like Shehu Sani who literally fought for the democracy we enjoy today, even as far as going to prison for holding pro-democracy rallies and protest during Babangida and Abacha's regime, has not even been rewarded with a bottle of coca-cola by any community in Nigeria, let alone a horse and a street named after him. Quite unfortunate that Saraki, the man who sure wasted Kwara state people's money on this irrelevant show, is our Senate President today. We sure do have crappy leaders who keeping putting square pegs in round holes. ![]() |
Wow! He should make this opportunity he has count because history would also remember his actions and words in the Senate |
OP, you didn't tell us the source of this constant power supply in Bonny. Is it solar, gas, windmill or something else? Cos personally for that town to enjoy 24/7 power supply, I don't think they are connected to the national electricity grid in the country. Maybe its an independent source. |
Lovely video backing up the positive message in the song. I ain't no hater but Davido, needs to take a cue from this video. We don't need to see cocaine, guns or nude ladies. If you think I'm wrong or that I don't like Davido, let me ask you a question, would you like to see any of your daughters grow up to be appearing nude in music videos? Its not all about the showmanship or the glamour in the video; what's the positive message it is conveying across to you? |
akins56:Lolllzzz......chai! My belle ooo. But I think the whole thing is bigger than APC, it would be happening at Estadio de Naija. Because if APC sanctions Saraki and co, expect decamping fever to grip our politicians. This match is between founding members of the APC and their adopted members who dumped the PDP before this year's election. Atiku (a former PDP chieftain) and the G-5 governors put Saraki cos Tinubu was growing too big for comfort. The battle is set, swords are drawn. The PDP, Saraki's camp, Atiku's camp and other prominent Northern chieftains (such as Tambuwa and Wamako) have struck the first blow. Lets see how Tinubu's camp would respond. Quite unfortunate that at the end we Nigerians would be the ones to suffer from all these commotion and drama, because when two elephants fight, it is the grass beneath them that suffer. But in this case, there are even more than two elephants. |
Hold on a sec! Where is Baba Iyabo in all this APC/PDP-Saraki/Tinubu/Buhari/Atiku drama ![]() Dis is very unusual. Obasanjo has been conspicuously missing in this made-in Nigeria movie we've been watching since yesterday. Can someone please tell me where OBJ has gone; is he even in the country at the moment? |
A lot of blame lies with Tinubu himself. He shouldn't have meddled into the politics of choosing the leaders of the National Assembly. He should have simply allowed the Senators and Reps members choose their leader. By supporting certain candidates which came across to the Northern faction of the APC as an attempt to impose his will on the party, he basically gave room for the embarrassment he and the APC recieved yesterday. He should have been neutral. None of those who lost yesterday blames President Buhari for his failure and none of those who were elected credits Buhari for his victory because he stayed neutral, despite claims that he preferred Ahmed Lawan to Saraki. Tinubu pushed things too far. His moves didn't come as genuine to the Northern chieftains in the APC such as Atiku and Kwankwaso. Hence their support for Saraki; even going as far as supporting a PDP senator for deputy senate president. Tinubu needs to take it easy and watch how he imposes candidates on the APC. |
Transparency indeed! When the election that made him senate president was fraudulent. More than half of the senators who are actually members of his party (APC) were in a meeting with President Buhari (who called the meeting to resolve the dispute in the party on the choice of the Senate president and the Speaker of the House of Reps) when the election was conducted in the National Assembly. It was during this meeting that the PDP hijacked things. How do you think Ike Ekweremadu, who is from the opposition, emerged as deputy senate president. By the way, Saraki was unopposed during the election in the National Assembly, how was that possible? Because, Ahmed Lawan, the APC choice for Senate President was also at the meeting with Buhari. Saraki, get ready to be impeached! You don't have the backing of your party; you don't have the backing of more than half of the senators who are also from your party and you don't have the backing of the President and his Vice. Expect drama in this 8th National Assembly! I hope we don't get to see our Senators exchanging punches during House sittings. |
