buzquet:It is a known fact that Nigerians are one of the most impatient beings on earth. Ever seen a Nigerian and a Ghanian waiting at d motor park for the bus to get filled so they could begin their journey to whr ever they are going? Just imaging the bus gets filled and the driver is no whr insight. The average Nigerian would start complaining bitterly while the Ghanian sits quietly, patiently waiting. Why are we Nigerians always rushing....? So wen he makes a mistake, u rush to criticize him? Obasajo appointed his ministers 28th July, 1999....Yar'adua appointed members of his cabinet July 24th, 2007. Jonathan has been the earliest 23 June. Why d rush Nigerians...? We want to get it right this time. No room for mistakes. Nigerians....Please Patience! Patienc!! Patience!!! |
I hope this action cuts across all sectors of the nation's economy. However, the sector of government that is over-bearing on the nation's budget is the salaries and allowances of our legislature and executive members. 8.4 billion for just agbada?!!! The tailors in Abuja should be living large like celebrities. |

Lovely. Her parents must have contributed immensely to what she has achieved so far by giving her all forms of encouragement (words of advice/support, finance, e.t.c), unlike some of our parents that scream at us wen one shows interest in fine arts or anytin different from science (for example music)......as if its only wen u become a doctor or lawyer u wld become successful in life. We need an urgent re-orientation of how kids are raised in our country. |

donholy28:Hw did Ohakim's clean and green help Imo state? Pls tell me. You should be praying EFCC does a thorough job in investigating and prosecuting that man. He stole Imo state's money without holding back. Thats what he used in financing his daughter's school in Ireland. Today she is in medical school (don't knw where exactly cos she didn't mention it in any of her videos on Youtube) and she is also married to an Irish guy. All these courtesy - Imo state public funds. Thats the koko u shld be talking abt here not continuation of clean and green that didnt do anytin for the average Imolite. *I'm not saying Okorocha is a saint. He is very far from it. |
I am shocked that a woman from the Niger Delta would reduce host community equity from 10% to 7.5%. The initial 10% was initiated by a Northerner. The same people the Easterners (who also have a few oil wells) and some Niger Deltans reject with the claim that they are the problem of the country. A woman from Port Harcourt deep in the heart of the s/s, who has seem first hand the sufferings of communities that experience oil spillage and other harzards from the driiling and exploration of oil. This goes to show that the ex-militants and those in power from the Niger Delta are just making noise for their own benefit not for the farmer or the fisher man suffering as a result of oil spillage in his community. Although the money would end up in the pockets of the community rulers who wouldnt do anything for their people with it, they deserve more, better, much more than 10% in my opinion. |
koboko69:On point my man. |
Dollyak:Godbless u. Na so university suppose be. Not these rubbish arrangement wey dis guy dey show us here. I skooled at IMSU, I no dey proud of dat university one bit. Come see skools for here wey I dey now...u go shame for Nigerian universities, especially govt owned ones. We have d money to develop our university infrastructures to international standards.....but corruption has eaten deep into us. No wonder every now and then, u hear of a V.C been accused of embezzling University funds. OP abeg abeg....there is nothing to b happy or proud abt IMUS' so called "love garden" cos in truth the environment is not comparable to even University of Cape Town or Pretoria let alone those in Europe or United States. |
