I have been a member of Nairaland for long time and it has been a while seen I have seen such vile bigoted views. I understand that it not made by a user but made by Dr Junaid and reported here. I felt the need to say something because Dr Junaid does not represent my views.

I would like to apologise to the Igbo people on behalf of all Northerner's on the offensive statements made by Dr. Junaid. I can assure them that his views do not represent the North but are the views of single minority. Dr Junaid and his ilk are the northern version of Biafra and Odudua sympathisers, people whose ethnic bigotry clouds their thoughts and utterances. People who cannot see beyond the sound of your name and language your mother taught you. We will always have people like this in Nigeria but as we grow as a country we will learn to treat their divisive and biased views as comical and insignificant.

The Igbo people are a proud and resourceful people whom over the course of Nigeria's history have contributed to nation building just as any other tribe. They have a right to seek fair representation in the current dispensation.

I honestly think issue with the SE is crying more than the bereaved. Since GEJ lost out in the election, they have been highly critical of PMB and they don't see any good in him.

Now they are shouting Biafra. I wonder where they have been in the last 6 years. Or is GEJ from the SÉ?

The funny part is they now even try including SS in their Biafra postulation. The new NNPC GMD is from Ibo speaking part of Delta(SS) but the Biafra proponents have rejected him that he is not from the SE.

Sounds to me like a bunch of confused fellow.

PMB should ignore this distraction and continue his good work. Nigerians are solidly behind him. Even people of the SS where GEJ hails from have moved on and are now solidly behind this govt. is this not a case of crying more than the bereaved?

It is important Ibos are constantly reminded the that they have been undermining our nationhood since independence, and will only be taken seriously once they shun their empty arrogance and baseless sense of entitlement in the interest of unity, and fully join hands in our national development.

Nigeria owes Ibos nothing.

United State is d number 1 exporter of food in the world. United State of America makes about 120 billion dollars yearly on agricultural export while Nigeria makes less than 40 billion dollars on crude oil sale.

However because of laziness and poor management, Nigeria is not maximizing its agricultural potential which can equal oil revenue if well planned and managed

Edo State tend to have most of the things in terms of varieties not volume per product in Southern Nigeria.
