waploger:Thank you for this, but that is not Alakija Bridge. It looks more like that bridge close to Dantata Bstop where vehicles make turn to alternate lanes. It is always a lonely path |
fergie001:All these are just for the books. CBN cannot enforce!. After reporting a financial institution to CBN, they only followed-up with several correspondences, but no power to enforce. At the long run, I gave up when I got tired of going back and forth. The issue has not been resolved though, after several years. My money still dey hang! |

kowalsky:As already spoken by above OP, amputation is the only solution. I have a family member who had a similar case. We took her to about 5 different hospitals also applying a few trado medicine, but alas, it was still amputated at the long run. After which the patient felt so relieved and we all regretted all the time wasted seeking alternative solution. I know it could be draining emotionally, psychologically and even financially but please let her go ahead with the amputation. Afterwards you get her the prothestic leg. Time heals all! Good luck |
Old age is a priviledge. Only a few experience it |
daddytime:You are VERY CORRECT!.... 30 years ain't a joke but again does he wants to start living alone because of he decides to get married again, he may not be sure (until after marriage) the kind of woman he will be getting settled with. At times, the devil you know is still better than a thousand else where you are still not sure of. May God help us. |

RIP to the dead |
You trust her? Most of the time we feel we TRUST and still have an element of FEAR, believe me the fearful always have a way of been the actual. People have lost relationships and valuables (all in the name of trust, while ignoring the fears) because things would have gone really bad before reality dawn on them. Discuss your fears and uncomfortability with her and see how things go. I come in peace |
bigpicture001:Most times, the change you are craving for MAY never come until confession is made. It is not easy though! I come on peace |
I must really thank you for this and for your journey through the help of the Holy Spirit. I have had exactly a problem with an 'addiction' too (though not on weed) which seems to be the only stumbling block between my God and I. I struggled with it for over 10 years and at a point in time gave up on the struggle. The way God orchestrated my deliverance I know, was by divine intervention. It happened within a jiffy of an eye! I know by the grace of God I am over it and now have peace with God. In essence, those things cannot be done by one's efforts or abilities. It takes God through the help of the Holy Spirit. Those who knows, will understand. In Conclusion This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Galatians 5:16-18 KJV. In peace I come! JahBwoy: |
Is Buhari palliative same as CACOVID palliative? I weep for ignorance! |
I must commend the Lagos State Government for this |

In as much as I am one of those that upholds morals and standards, I will not totally condemn the action of Bamteddy bearing in mind that we are all humans having blood and water running through our veins. Yes, they were carried away by their emotions in which we all have fallen victims of at a point in time. For those that understand what it means to genuinely have feelings for someone, you will agree that at that point all logical reasoning may not work. Why why cast fire and brimstone all in the name that they did what they ought not to have done? Funny enough, majority of those condemning them have done and are even still doing worst things than that. Yoruba's will say 'eniti ile ba mo ba ni Barawo'. They were even discreet enough to have left the open for an enclosure, but unfortunately what they thought was enclosed was captured by the camera. Please correct me, were they the only ones having sex in the house? So why the so much noise and castigation? Let him who has no sin be the first to cast a stone. The condemnation is enough to cause Bambam do silly things with herself if she is not the strong type. Maybe then, those condemning will be satisfied with their deeds. When we rebuke with one hand then we should be kind enough to draw closer with the other hand. Who are those saying her future is doomed and she will not get a husband to marry her? Are they God? I have seen worse cases even getting married to the best men around and doing far better than expected. I have also seen the very sincere saints not also getting husbands to marry. So who are we to judge? I do not know them, neither have I ever met, but I sincerely love them and welcome them back home. |
Why is it that it was after you tendered your resignation letter, your present employer deemed it fit to promote you? My dear shine your eyes, though depending on the kind of employer, they might just do that to keep you for the mean time while they get a replacement for you, knowing fully well for you to tender your resignation your mind is out of the job. |
Sweet couple. The man must be very tall indeed!. Most taller ones have affinities for short ones; which in the long run is best for them. |
An advice for UTME candidates that could not get their aggregate score in their print out because of the likely Website issue at the time of printing to go back to the site, rescan their certificates & re do the printing. If certificate is rightly attached, the new print out should show your score. |
I am sorry moderators if I this post does not really belong here as I am confused as to where it actually belongs. Please wipe my tears by actually pushing to front page. This is a cry for help as a Nigerian Consumer, whose rights are being infringed upon by SAMSUNG Nig. I am appealing to whoso ever can be of assistance to lend me a hand in fighting for my right in getting a replacement (as any refund at this point in time will not be able to cover the purchase of a new one bearing in mind the prevailing current economic situation) to a SAMSUNG SPLIT AIR CONDITIONER (AC) (MODEL: AR 12FCFSBWK) purchased from one of SAMSUNG’s dealers in Osogbo on 5th June, 2015. The receipt of purchase is as attached. Though, I never did the installation (due to my busy schedules) until after about two months after purchase. After installation, the unit was not cooling the way a new AC should. Several reports and calls were made to the dealer, who promised to send down a technician to unravel what the problem could be. The technician came several weeks after and after so many testing and troubleshooting confirmed the compressor to be defective. The dealer promised getting in touch with SAMSUNG service center in Ibadan to look into the issue. It took again several weeks before a staff from the service center eventually turned up on 19th May 2016 apologizing for the inconvenience and made away with the outdoor unit. They deliberately held on to this unit for over two months (till after expiration of warranty) and returned it precisely on 21st July, 2016. Unfortunately when it was returned, there was no power source to test whether the defect had been rectified or not but the technician assured and ask I give him a call as per its performance as soon as power is restored. Eventually, when power was restored and the AC tested, it was discovered that the unit was still not cooling. Since then I have been making several calls to the SAMSUNG service centre. Initially, they promised looking into it but for some weeks now they have not been picking any of my calls put cross to them. The truth is how long do I keep going round in circle on this issue? The most annoying thing is that as I step out every day, it is a very painful sight, seeing what I spent my hard earned money on just lying fallow without servicing the purpose for which it was originally purchased. Of what use is it? I shall be willing to send down other proofs (recorded phone calls etc) as may be required for further investigation. Please bail me out SAMSUNG, and don’t let me regret ever purchasing this product that was marketed to an association in which I belong. |
@Ayindesegun, did you eventually get your passport changed? How did you go about it? I have been encountering the same problem in changing my brother's passport. His Utme passport is not in red background. |
I am going to be a collation officer in one of the wards in tomorrow's election by His grace. As at this evening, on reporting to the Inec LGA where I have been posted there was no information regarding COs at all. While waiting I saw some of the staff using correction fluid to erase some of the authentic PO names and replacing with their own candidates. Many authentic ones that actually did the training are going to be left stranded afterwards. God help us in this country! |

@ ogb5 You make me laugh! so I have suddenly become one of them because I express my opinion? May God forgive you! @ apocalypse Like as said earlier I am a frequent traveller on that route, there are times I drive alone as a lady on that route; and attack by robbers was very common in 2009, 2010 and even 2011. On more that three occassions I was a witness. I agree the robbers can strike anytime! But the rate has greatly reduced compared to some years back I don't have any thing against anyone with their stories, please. ALL I am saying is that people should stop putting fears in the mind of travellers. May God continue to grant us journey mercies. |
This story of arm robbery attack by the writer sounds fictional! His words contadicts. And I guess he is trying to practice story-writing. Its been long I heard of arm robbery attack along that route as I fequent that road. I don't know why some people just delight on putting unnecessary fears on travellers. May God help us and May year 2013 be glorious for us all. |
Please is there anyone in the house whose passport is not valid for at least six months beyond the date of planned travel but was granted VISA? Some say you can be given VISA once your passport has not expired. How true is this? Please share your view if you fall in this category and was not denied VISA. |
They forgot to tell you that once ignition is on and the gear is on 'D' your car moves forward whether throttled or not; and when the gear is on 'R' it moves backward whether throttled or not. I learnt a hard lesson from this!. |
