The amount is even higher than that. angry

If Nairaland was on AdSense, going by the current monthly pageview of over 200 million, Seun should be getting a regular paycheck of over $200k from Google every month depending on the traffic. angry

Seun could have been richer than Linda. angry

Who told you she makes 100K USD from Google? Lmao, do you actually know how much google pays per click?

He will register for the November exam in the UK.

My friend picked up his VISA today after three months of application.

He was supposed to travel for his PLAB exam which held on 6th September. We thought they weren't going to give him Visa again, since the date has exam date has passed.

Thank God anyway, he will register for the next exam.

Please I need your advice on how to go about my refusal.....

This is so painful after traveling to the UK for more than 5times and applying for more than 3times and also putting to bed in the UK and paying all the NHS outstanding bills......I still got refused! Based on unclassified facts.

Please guys I need your advice on how to handle this refusal and I would also like the gurus in the house to please interpret this refusal letter for me because I really do not understand it.

They gave 2 reasons for my refusal
1. That I did not complete my NHS payment....which I did already and also submitted all the receipts given to me by CCI UK.but it seems they did not confirm from CCI about the payments..... Meanwhile I have called CCI today and they said they will send a mail to the hospital to inform them I have completed my payments (something they should have done before now)

2. The most painful part is my school they claim I am not a student DAT my documents are counterfeits!.......And this is obviously not true! They sent a mail to my school to verify if I m a student and the school replied them yes! I am surprised they are still saying I used a false document.

Please if my school writes them again will that change anything? And also the Hospital in London. Please I need your advice please its very important and urgent please! What are my chances? Please what do I do?

After waiting up to a month for a reply I still got refused meanwhile my daughter was also refused because I was refused and he's travelling with This is so painful. Please what can we do is there still a solution?

Thanks as always

Well, it's simple. They said you have an outstanding payment ot make to NHS. Contact the hospital where you gave birth and find out why the outstanding charge since you said you cleared all the payment before coming back.

The second reason is that the document you obtained was fraudulent because the the school didn't authenticate it when they contacted them. If you are sure the document in question is genuine, go back to the school and obtain a headed letter saying the document is genuine.

A friend and the family applied for UK visas (first family application) and it's been under processing for 12 good weeks, they had to cancel all plans cos school will be resuming next week and they are yet to get their passports.

15 days has turned to 12 weeks...UK wahala too much abeg!

It's ridiculous! My friend submitted his in June and up till now, no decision has been made. We have called and called and wrote several emails, they kept saying it's been processed. They guy has an Exam to write in the UK on Thursday and he explained all these to them yet nothing. He just cancelled his exam this morning and hoping they refund him. They don;t do refunds unless you show them a refusal letter from Immigration and he doesn't have. He just attached all his correspondences with them and hoping it works.

I have written a two page complaints to their complaint department, because this isn't fair and shouldn't be acceptable.

cheesy

Inasmuch as I love giving, I condemn this act

Not only is the money too much, they are minor and didn't have the clue of managing such a huge amount of money

In the US here, our government are only interested in dashing out to distinctive students the likes of Arduino board, semiconductors, microchips and so on

That's why America is great today

We don't just make decisions to please the populace

We make decisions to move our country forward

God bless America!

Troll bore off! It's time for your meds.

It's alright to award millions of Naira to people who had s/x on national tv on Big brother, but not good to give money to kids who put this nation on the map intellectually. Like I said, your health caretaker at YABA left wants you now, it's time for your meds, now run along.

You know she didn't investigate how? Has the guy denied the allegation? No! he's cooking up a can of lies to push out for gullible people to swallow.

If someone accused me of a heavy crime such as rape, I'd appeared in front of her house the next morning with my lawyers and a statement dissociating myself from it.

To say the truth, i am really heartbroken to hear this news of the man being sack because of what happened a long time ago.

Why did she wait till the time of his wedding? Why not then, possibly take him to the police

I really hate killjoys.

I am not supporting rape. It is a deed that was done back then, that ought to have been settled.

Look now he has lost his job.

I hope the lady is now happy.

You are not well at all... so he should be left alone because the crime has expired?

The guy only lost a job but the girl still has a lifetime to heal. Thwarts like you think rape is a joke. Nonsense, he's luck he only a lost a job, in a developed country, he will be spending his lifetime in a prison.

please house help me, i got this message and am yet to hear from them,my application is going to a month.

Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority Visa service), and settlement applications within 60 working days.

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection.

My friend got that and his application is over two months. Has emailed them three times, same message " we are working on it".

He has an exam to write in the UK next week.

Now you realise the role a husband plays in every woman's life. He has since moved on and living his life in a low keyed manner. If I were you, I'd swallow my provide and reach for him for a reunion. Stop pretending everything is right when you know you sleep every night rubbing your pillow with tears. No matter how rich a woman could be, she needs a man she could spend her life with. Nothing could be more emotional than when a child asks his/her mum,...Mum, where's Dad? I want to see him...

You mean the one that's always sucking up to Tiwa on Instagram? That doesn't look like moving on to me.

So when you studied Biochemistry it was not your desired course? Why didn't you study your desired course in the first place? This topic is about parents forcing their desires on their children who have other desires.

I thought it was but realised later on that it wasn't...It's called juvenile, especially when you friends were all going to enrol in the same department.

Like I said, it's not forcing, you can guide your child in the right direction. Don't allow them to learn the hard way or make the same mistake some of us made.

Ronaldo and co became footballers today because their parents started taking them to football practice at early age. You guide them in the right direction and watch them grow up loving it.

Your kids may grow up hating you. You're going to make a typical self-centered and myopic Nigerian parent with a poor man mentality. There's more to life than repeating what our father's and some grandfathers achieved.

Birth -->> School --> Get a Job --> Earn Salary -- Collect Pension --- and Die!

God forbid!!

Calm down, poster is only talking about those they have decided to go to school.
Besides, you only hear about those successful people who made it without going school. How about the millions who are lavishing in penury because they didn't go to school or have nothing to fall back on?

Going to school shouldn't stop you from trying other things.

Typical African parents

If you liked the course so much why didn't you study it yourself. Parents should stop trying to live their lives through their kids.
And if your kid has other interests, what would you do ? kill them disown them.

There is nothing wrong in encouraging your kid to study a course if the kid has got the interest but forcing them. I've seen Kids that are petrified at the sight of blood being forced to study medicine and they end up unhappy falling by the way side.

If my kid is interested in studying Agric , I will be very happy and encourage him or her.

It's not forcing, it's guiding. They will thank you when grow up. I insisted on studying Biochemistry, came out with GP 4.2, but to be honest I regret wasting my four years. I asked my parents why they allowed me study that course, my mum said I insisted.

I had to go back to school and enrolled in my desired course.
