A friend of mine will be traveling to UK on a visiting VISA (6months validity). He has a cousin in London who is living there LEGALLY (work and resident permit). His cousin told him the main thing is they grant him VISA and leave the rest to him to handle that he won't return to Nigeria. His cousin told him to learn a skill like photography, barbing, tailoring e.t.c in Nigeria before he comes over, so that he can manage that before he settles down finally because he's not eligible to work with a visiting VISA. He said it won't be rosy at first, but if he can be patient enough, everything will fall in place and he'll get his work and resident permit later. My friend's cousin in London talked about getting married to a citizen of UK (later later) and she'll be the one to file for him to get a work and resident permit. I just want to ask, can it work out like that ?

Just so you know you can't get married to a UK citizen with an expired visa or visitor's visa. You must go back to Nigeria to do that.

Hey guys,

Please do they ask for a return ticket to Nigeri at Heathrow on entry?

My friend has a return ticket from Nigeria to the UK from her last trip and would like to use now to go to the UK for a holiday.

Would it be a problem for her at Heathrow?

Hi justwise and everyone. My visa got approved 3 weeks after my intended travel date on my visa application. I said I was going to spend 10 days when I applied but can I spend up to 14 days now since the visa came out after my intended travel date?

Will appreciate your response.
Thanks All

You definitely can.

Hello everyone,

Please is it possible to change travel date on my cover letter?

We have just submitted an application and then found that the only available dates for biometric is about 9 days before our travel date. (This is one of the downside of submission before seeing available time slots).

Can we change the date on the cover letter and explain why?

Thanks.

TSL is ripping Nigerians off with all these premium lounge nonsense. Why fill all the time slots with premium service and charge people over 70 pounds? Premium service slots shouldn't be more than regular service slots. This is Broad daylight robbery

they said I didn't explain my finances and they said I stated I was going for a Christian leadership program ( never mentioned such). I will advice he uses plab as reason for his visa. He can attend academy in Lagos.

Ok...Nah he will go for tourist visa. He's been given visa before, so that's a plus. Again, he's sponsoring himself just like the other time. He explained his finance and will do that again.

You can re-apply and explain your finance (that was a big oversight from you though. That's the main reason they deny people visa, even though you have a sponsor, you must explain your own finance).
Also, address the leadership programme too. Tell them you never mentioned anything like that.

hello I need advice. I applied for a visitors visa some weeks ago with the intention of writing an exam during the visit but didn't mention the exam in my application. I used a sponsor. Now I was denied coz they said I didn't explain my finances. the exam I want to do has it's own visa ie plab visa. now am thinking should I reapply with for a plab visa or should I still just stick with my visitor's visa. will it look like am not honest? is each application treated independently of previous ones?

Hi, my husband will also be going to the UK for PLAB 2 exam. He was there last year for PLAB 1. He used PLAB as a reason and got his visa. He didn't use sponsor.

Now he will be going back for plab 2 and his visa has expired. He's applying this week but this time he wants to use tourism instead of Plab. Reason being that he wants to travel months before the exam date for academy and we heard they deny visa if you mention academy.

So we are applying for tourist visa instead to avoid the long explanation especially at Heathrow.

Please what was the reason for your visa rejection?

Hello, please could someone help me with the below querry.

The last time I did a visa application for someone was in January, and I'm filling an online form for my cousin now (standard 6 months) and it looks like there have been some changes on the form and in the process.

In previous applications, I had to choose TSL centre, date and time of Biometric before payment, but i can'[t see that option again. Please has the process changed?

Also, do you now have to upload your documents, if yes, where? In previous application, we just took all the documents to the centre and they photocopied and gave back the original.

I will appreciate if someone could please tell how it works now.

Thanks.

My question is, how can two judges presented with the facts on a matter pass two different judgments?

This doesn't make sense at all.

It does make sense...that's why you have appeal and supreme.

Some judges are either biased or don't interpret the evidence presented to them well.

A man that couldn't sit for WAEC. What has he got to offer his state, apart from moving up and down with his over pompous kids up and down, squandering the remaining money in the coffer.
