@myjoy08: Nna ehn grin Your prayers provide the needed effect in these "critical times hard to deal with". Your exertions and almost unshakable belief that the market would soar around 3rd-4th week of August remains clear in my mind. grin grin

The NSE may revise park price to NGN 0.001 if they wish to; FPI may grind to an all-time low; GTB, NESTLE, and DangCEM may park if they also wish to...as long as Nigeria is still alive and the listed coys haven't closed shop, there will still be money to make.

@Madam Mercy: You are actually one of the "Many" I had in mind in my last post. You don buy your suckers, abi your co-farmers never release their own money? Smart lady! (not woman...as per African wey you be grin )

Yeah, I saw the GD. I sometimes monitor the charts more than my portfolio...wetin poor outsider go do? In fact, when I saw the greens on Monday, I smiled. The following day, I saw the minute volumes used to initiate the greens across board... then I smelled a rat.

In short, the buses I had planned entering nor reach the next junction, na so-so reverse dem reverse. grin grin

@hotcakes: Perhaps it's only an envious or insecure fellow who will not admire PW and Dexter. They deluge us with ALL we need to know...I really like this...but some people don't! (RE: Those baba isale that Dexter has been kowtowing to)

@kotlass : I was wondering how you knew passwelle was becoming a clown...until I read your last post.

@Dexterax: Your allocation of percentages to keys for success on the NSE buttresses what Oga Aks has been preaching for decades: that fundamentals isn't weighty enough on the NSE. But you left out a vital point - TIME. passwelle has got ample time for JIJO... Many people too on this forum will probably earn more from the NSE if their day-job permits them.

@immanuello: my oga, you dey try o!

@Dexterax: You are sharing your wish, yet again ; later we will be told of how another revered member of this forum advised you not to take-on Emma.

Nna ehn, you made me lose my temperature grin But you can mend things the covert way...lest thou see me in thy dreams.

#a slight (?quasi) pullback on the rally, though.

sys007:
Anybody here knows the minimum amount of money required for opening a brokerage account with either of the following stockbrokers?
1. Vetiva Securities Limited
2. FSDH Securities
I will appreciate views on above stockbrokers in terms of execution of mandates, customer service and other stuff about them. Which one would you advise I use (for someone currently living outside the country). Thanks
Out of the TWO houses above, I shall advise you to choose Meritrade (not Ameritrade o!). But, Sir, if you don't like how "Meritrade" sounds, you make consider Morgancapitalgroup. grin grin grin

Disclosure: I own no shares in the above listed firms.

Have a blessed (huhbullish) week ahead.

There is this guy called PW on NSEMPA. He easily passes for the highest number posts/day. But his comments are VERY incisive. In short, he has been "killing me softly" with astute erudition. Thumbs up, man! (I can almost bet you're not married, though)

PS: I guess you admitted my helplessness the other time. Bro, it's not easy to be a security man in another man's land. Can't even remember the last time I checked my portfolio...whether d thing still get blood or I hab bleed pinish grin

@Dexter: Only your highly-rated and awaited CWA stalking report can prevent this dude from displacing your seat in my mind. grin grin

Sorry NSEMPA for this monologue. It's not the usual Stock Pick Alert or the ridiculous waiting for GTB @ #0.50 junction...but who needs a stock pick alert in these "critical times hard to deal with"?

cheesy

@passwelle: #thumbsup

@kotlass: You called it 'futile attempt', I'll call it a wild-goose chase, for this is a liberal and anonymous forum. Sincerely, I'm cool with jokes and fun (investors need to cool off, you know). But my post was more of a call for 'more' maturity, and human psychology shouldn't preclude that. Should it?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 3:16pm On Sep 16, 2014
@Chibueze: Please, don't leave NSEMPA! We still love you. grin

Dumexy baba: U no go kee me oh! grin How the Emirs for your side? As you just show face now hit person below the belt, how about people wey been dey pump Oxygen with their prophecies all these while?

Methinks this thread has been deluged with sentiments - positive and negative - for too long. I think it will be a good idea if forum members desist from rushing here to type whatever thought/suggestion you have in mind.

If anyone has concrete facts or is absolutely sure of an insider info, you may share cos we're bnsitl grin. But for fake prophecies, dreams or hearsays...some people share such news innocently (maybe like Chibuking81), but others may be kidding or using it as P n D strategy. Though readers reserve the right to overlook any comment, emotions and recall of sentiments have a way of influencing hunches and reactions to other people's comments.

Dexter, your level has moved from "u no go kee me oh" to "ure killing me softly". grin

Wetin you mean by "soft" kwa? Is it like the "perfect intersection of lower arcs that qualifies a proper...."?

@Oga Agbalowomeri: You are beginning to prophesy more than our ordained prophet. He has cooled down recently. You don't need to pressure yourself to forecast the market except, of course, if your frequent calls are just part of the whole "game". #justsaying. #oneluv

Each time you guyz shine these teeth, I find myself laughing uncontrollably. It's like dope! grin Abeg, make una stop am oh before my people quarantine me!

Maybe Seun should limit the maximum number to 3...but then, currentprice will continue shinning the maximum 3 at the slightest opportunity. grin (omaojo1 and Joysmart, una sef don join dem?)

@Chillisauce: This is the forum of teeth, so I welcome you with grin

Meristem is good for the diaspora. It features among the top 10 dealers by volume and value. I don't see them running out of business anytime soon. But "impossible is nothing"!

Your online activity depends on how much is at stake. Would you rather sleep with both eyes closed while your HOUSE is near an inferno? You may also invest in stable stocks rather than JAPAUL, Unity, Oxygen e.t.c (I hope I don't get maced grin). But again, "impossible is nothing", stable stocks can fail...while Oxygen can make you rich!

grin
Ogbeni, are you discounting my moniker? You don see where a sage dey throw dice before -Aristotle, Socrates dem? Even if a sage would wager, wouldn't he rather do so with the simpleton next door; or you want a professional bettor like you fall his handshuh

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 12:36pm On Sep 11, 2014
Dexterax: I have it on my charts actually. I'm hoping I can identify the same conditions that occurred last year and position accordingly.
If lightning never strikes twice on the same spot, then your "hoping" for "same conditions" may remain an unfulfilled one. I also have been 'scoping' this coy, no less than passwelle vs. ACCESS and one thing is certain - liquidity.

I can almost bet that before Q3 '15 an upside would be attained, perhaps not as impressive as the latest. Now, call this monkey hunting if you will. grin

Oga mi Charles, you may kindly substitute "majority of" for "real" in my last post. I also included an elaboration in the bracket .

And your reply raises the questions: How many businessmen are you talking about? Knowing they can't possibly account for your quoted figure, could there be other players?

#Cowboyism is real...

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 5:53pm On Sep 10, 2014
@nitrogen: I would think you understand Dexter's post because you have never appeared as a learner. IMO, this is the least of Dexter's wordsmithery...even the most purblind shouldn't be clueless.

For the benefit of doubt, he [Dex] has extended his Cowboyism hypothesis to 'retail' banking. And he can't be more correct!

@Charlesnerd: 'Nigerians' as you used it, doesn't necessarily imply your next door neighbour. For all you care, the real Nigerians (quoted by UN Dollar/day ranking) would hardly consider a dom. account. Abraham Marslow's pyramid gives a clearer picture.

I'm still at a loss to the cultural aspects of this phenomenon. It is basically 21st century capitalism fuelled by globalisation. #shikena

See MASSIVE temptation to prophesy! But Oga stockbull didn't fall; he only said the bears will... the same way our main prophet said "the bulls will return in a matter of days", but bears been chopping off currentprice (grin) since then.

@SWG1: Your PUD, rather than PRUD tickles my fancy. *u know now*

@ayztech: Your bench-warming sef o di nma. You see, a dim very, VERY loaded and I have enough for two. How many molecules of Oxygen do you need? But wait o, instead of benching you fit dey wire me funds na make i dey do the needful. Disclosure: I have NEVER scammed nor have I been scammed. grin

*Busy thread*

@Oga Aks: Nice recall. I love the fact this thread brings out the gift of prophecy hidden in peeps. And the prophecy about Fidson has been defended, yet again. Let's see how it turns...I'm really interested in this coy.

@ayztech: grin No shaking joor. She is just a friend... (I remember a song with that chorus). U sef dey inside Oxygen tank or Skye fleet?

@Dexterax: I remember you asked about the exit of a firm from UBN. I guess the converse has happened and the currentprice( grin ) is singing the same tune.
