Maybe we should wake up from our anti-PM sleep. It is possible more than a few folks have been sending PMs surreptitiously. As Steven Keshi asked during the season of Open Letters (in 9ja politics), I also ask: Who shall send Moneysage a PM?

@omaojo1: Infant gini? No way! sad

@igboboy3: I'm musing on what birthed your question. When one becomes nauseated by "chin chin" paper profits here and there and desires to own big chunks in sound coys, then one transforms from a boy to a man (or Manie grin). If your thoughts are akin to mine and Dexterax's, then permit me to resound the warning a bro. put up here: "abeg no go rob bank o!"

It has been a "month of bulls". Or has it? Discount that the index touched d roof and that some bulls were slaughtered in the Holy Month abbatoirs (as theorists would want us to believe). While those who tagged along with the cowboys had a perfervid 3weeks, smart men made a kill in the Industrial Goods.

If a term as "value investor" exists, then a rival term, "informed trader" or "cautious trader" may be equally potent. (Perhaps, something for the Manie-Dexter skirmish...or those still bothered about d NSE-casino gists)

@ayztech: we're making MONEY this year...money just for TWO. Good humor!
*the facelessness and maturity in this thread permits more of these emotions that are sharing...oga gabscity, Roger that.

@omaojo1: I hail thee, Sir.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 9:29am On Jul 23, 2014
Personally, I love the sense of humor of 2 folks here: hbrednic(I said this before) and ayztech (just dat she gets angry at distractions). Oga 9free sef dey.

That said, Dexterax, we need not lock horns over ayz. I can bet she will be worth the brawl, but Oga Dumex has a way of making her melt. You may broker your deal with Dragonking.

Joysmart: sad

Meanwhile, Ukwuamu was implicit on Okomu and it game dat our commodity analyst grin played along.

I love observing the markets....and the weeks to come will reveal what I will do with cash inflows. #wave3inwave5

I have always wished I could see ALL the active members of NSEMPA. You folks are WONDERFUL.

If I'm allowed to see JUST ONE person, it would be Dexter...arghh!! This guy is something else. But I will also beg for 30 seconds to see Pastor Ihedioramma...another interesting somebody!!

@myjoy: its evident u've got charisma. Pls, don't derail while catching fun. One luv.

These teeth guyz ehn angry Oga Agbalowomeri, pls don't join them.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 11:58pm On Jul 21, 2014
@Dexterax: pls notify the house when u get that PM from her. We are not used to PMs and this one should be interesting, anyway!

@Oga Elai: Here it is...marketwatch.ng noni. I may be wrong, but one can see a full E-wave on the right half of the chart (circa 20 March as base). Pls, correct me duely...I learn daily and humbly.

@ucheson2: nwoke m! Ure highly welcome back. Has ur coy been able to fulfil its Oando dreams?

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 11:03pm On Jul 18, 2014
@janykute: you can't beat them, and you have not joined them. Have you?

The positive divergence is close to the least (if not same) over the last couple of weeks. Even the Relative Strength failed to mimick the day's demand - not that it was meant to. But, hey, we have standing orders (call them prophecies if you wish to) that it "will get to #8" - never mind that those calls have a caveat. (TRANSCORP)

Moneysage transmitting live from CM browser. It has been a long walk to freedom! Will I ever forget oga 9free for this? If u are not using this app yet, ure on a long thing!

natruetalk, Elai147, dsonofmaan, gabscity, miftpluse, paswelle,Dragonking feelamong...abeg, make una stop the arithmetric progression of this teeth grin. I know I can just scroll down, but it makes me laugh uncontrollably. And na that badt guy dey always start am - cynical and comical!

I'm observing the broader picture in global markets and not swayed by the Oxygen red herring. Relatively and technically, the NSE only needs a needle now...and the bubble is done with! Fixed income securities may not decline much as expected yet much patience will be needed should the NSE experience a downturn. Hence, defensive and blue-chips may be favored over keeping ur cash under ur the pillow.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 6:23pm On Jul 17, 2014
@dsonofmaan: u can fuel any gist ehn! grin

@ALL: Certainly, Buffet's disciples have an immense capacity to burst any bubble. And when u see a long post, u know where its heading.

Pls folks, take the words of these 'Buffetians' and live; disregard their caution (tagging urself as brave-hearted) and make some cool cash but with a risk of getting ur fingers burnt. (bigx also alluded to this recently)

But value investors should know is that life is full of perspectives. Most people in this thread are young-old people (at least younger than Manie grin) who desire aggressive fund growth. Hence, the rush that comes with the bulls. I'm a fundamentalist but with a good base of TA. I don't take the prophecies of insiders gullibly neither do I rush to buy when mood is high (like natruetalk). But I also share d sentiments of oga Aks that these fundamental gists have a slight limitation in the NSE...if u know the P & D tide.

Now, after all the up-to-date financial analysis, I often ask myself: Does this mean that something can't go wrong? What is d probability that an upside potential will be achieved? Who knows tomorrow? What if Rapture happens before d COP deal is sealed or d next dividend from NESTLE?( pastor ihedioramma, preach to ur pple, biko)

@Boss LI (sorry Elai) and Oga Kotlass: thanks for checking on me. My day-job and family exigencies has kept me in the sidelines. I wish I could be a trading-major like 4dchairman and charismatic insider like myjoy08 (this bruva still amazes me!)

@Dexterax: sure u know ur fan base is knowing no limit! OK, contunu!

@Toluway: Ur observations on DangSug and Diamond are apt. Time heals all wounds.

@Oga Feelamong: U inhaled some Oxygen at a fair discount amd launched into Hopeville. I hope we'll still see u around (cf. mercilicious)

@Born2bRich: I still miss The Analyst services...Hope u will oblige us key financial details - on request. (ft has been quite helpful)

@SWG-1: something tells me u are either for JOHESU or against them. (pls don't quote me)

@ALL: pls, what flash player do u use to view marketwatchng on your Android device?

Gracias

I find this tread irresistible. NSEMPA is really interesting...so much fun and market sentiments in here.

This teeth grin that you people are sharing also makes me laugh my ribs out.

I have learnt a lot by observing, including 'digital discipline' and myjoy08 ever bullish disposition.

Wish u safe Oxygen landing(if at all)... grin

Oga B2bR, u know I hv thought of d same thing. 2 things are involved:
(1) As oga Aks once posted, most coys in d nse LACK fundamentals; na only news & sentiments d big players dey use lure pple. So, Im not surprised at Oando appearing on d front page.

(2) There is massive market sentiments. The economy appears to b robust. Cash boku eferywhere. And even folks wt N6000 sef wan put head inti NSE. But as there's a limit to d rise of d NSEASI. VERY SOON, d pigs shall start getting slaughtered. Smart guyz will exit when d ovation is loudest & re-enter wen d newbies start biting their fingers.

SWG 1: So wats ur take on those in the following coy:
Costain
Nem
Abc trans
Uba cap
Uba
Life stock
And almighty OANDO(medium term)
Costain will not likely push byond it's present resistance. You may shed it at 1.2 (depends on ur trading plan, though)

Livestock: You may hold, esp if u boarded the mid-Nov northward bus. But if u nid ur cash for an ongoing rally, why not exit?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 10:42am On Jan 02, 2014

mercylicious: Abeg don't start. Don't assert wat u r not sure of. This is d kind of thing wey jamace do me as a newbie, as a result, I have over 500k tied up in ftncocoa. Dt is why I don't talk wen am not so sure cos u don't know who will be taking action on ur post.
Abeg don't start, u don pass waec and jamb tey tey, so no set jamb exam for us. But d answer will be the percentage in indices nse increased last year which is in the news. I think its btw 20 and 30%
We need to be careful about credibilty here. This section of NL is serious-minded and for matured minds. We shouldn't post only sentiments which may mislead naive investors; let back up our predictions with some plausible facts.

Pls, why shld GTB rally up?

@megainvest & mr-cali: d NSE index calculation holds some water as u. I have used it personally in my study of mutual funds and outlook of bourse sentiments.

@madam mercy: Nestle's lasts open was not strong. Ur breakout claim would need a confirmation - perhaps today. But if u ask me again, dere was a spinning top with some evidence that d "big boys" dumped dis coy for recent upward rallies. Trading has been quiescent thence on dis stock.

Happy investing!

As Oando keeps gapping up, the volume only became significant today. This may portend good tidings. Happy riding folks! wink

Nestle's MACD failed to crossover. A channel seems to have started in lieu of news-driven bullish rally in the bourse.

Transcorp: Statusquo #lipsealed b4 I get whipped

Zenith has gained about 29% in d last 10days,bt no one is talking about this. Are some Ogas hiding some loot from NL?

Wsh u all a GREENFUL new yr!

BTW: Where is Oga Stockbull? Is he writing an 18-page letter somewhere or is he d person I dream about who also bears Born to Be Rich?

Born 2be Rich: Well Oga Immanuello, first of all na small boy i be o..i no be elder at all ( currently an U17 person)...If you wan see elder na bra emmanuel ewumi side you go look.. cheesy
As for buying Oando, IMO if i have some extra cash now i will still buy some more units as i believe that the deal is already sealed, however, this is risky so it isnt adviseable to buy so much units while we await the conclusion of the aquisition of COP....I bought Oando at N11 and kept on accumulating..I would have continued but you have to keep some money this festive season..i am thinking of getting more units before weekend sha.
Did someone see what I saw? bigass said her husband bought Oando at N11, Oga B2BR says he bought it at ... Den he was playing big brother in trying to calm Dumexoga to avoid gobe

Long timers should not make their decision base on what the saw on this forum. Happy investing.
Transcorp is in a symmetric sideways. It is heading to it's pre-rally price action. And to be sure, the big boys have moved on...as evident in the trading volume. A savvy trader will stay off this coy, as NO news can restart an uptrend anytime soon. cool
