@megainvest: Please, pardon my wrongful allusion. I never intended to slight your post. I was only reeling in the amazement that some people somewhere still reckon with that coy. And several posts this evening have confirmed that reckon. Regarding the Sell in May hypothesis: In the voice of Olu Maintain (wherever those Maintain guys are now!), "The white man that made pencil is also the one who made eraser" ![]() |
ucheson2:With your resurgence this night, I have had a good laugh today. Your agitation for Oando sell sounds hilarious. But wait o, bros, how did you arrive at N1 in the post above? Where on earth do these numbers come from? #Like seriously, those who invented the stock market should be amazed at our eagerness to throw out figures. |
ETi and the journey to NGN18. It doesn't get better than this! ![]() |
@chillykelly: Sincerely I understand and appreciate your response to @drdams. @Boss passwelle: We ARE ALL LIMITED BY WHAT WE KNOW Posts like this drag me out of my shell. Permit me to add that: AND THE STOCK MARKET DOESN'T ALWAYS RESPECT WHAT WE KNOW. @ogbs2020love: Welcome back. The stock market and fora regarding it are a microcosm of life. People will not always agree with our position or forecasts and we reserve the right to disagree with others. But what we often seem to forget is that "market has a mind of its own" and is no respecter of opinions. All discussions are never beyond probability. Hence, when we others disagree with us, let us give them benefit of the doubt. And when our predictions turn out very correct, we shouldn't assume that we are already masters of the market just because our toss of the coin was right. Even if anyone has PURE insider info, the market MIGHT still confound it. This is exactly the response of @mercylicious to the fellow that predicted about VITAFOAM and he was tagged monkey-hunting... And this is what prophet Chibok failed to understand when he was predicting fire and brimstone much to his own chagrin. @Agbalowomeri: Baba wey you be Unfortunately, I don't do agric section. And I doubt that any virtual XX personality will make me do. If and when I chance upon your lady in reality, I could change my mind. You know nau ![]() @Ess: Please, check through @bigass posts. She once answered the question you asked, I guess. Sorry for the late reply. |

mercylicious:@madame: when you're large, you're really large. I don't understand all these Hispy people are talking about, all I know is that: I can take care of you. I'm not like that guy you once talked about. @perewesley: I think he was talking about Dividend not bonus. The date for the bonus is different from the date of dividend. One reads April, while the other reads May. Sincerely, I didn't put on my eye glasses before I "Spot the difference" ![]() |

Yem0350:I absolutely agree with your position. Personally, I can even ignore such posts with 800, 000 units or 1million units. What I stand against is when someone has invested huge millions in a particular stock and the person keeps romancing the stock and using all forms of deceit and con to make other investors buy into the stock, too. If you have 50million Naira in Oxygen, good for you! But it isn't too good if you keep saying Oando will get to 25, 35, 100 or some ridiculous price without any sound reason...just so others can buy. Who does that? |
Elai147:Boss, hey, please don't get things mixed up. I was the one that sent Eterna to the gutters and I later said you should have understood why I did that. With this post of yours, you should now know why I gave that call. Do you get the riddle? ![]() |
Elai147:From my first encounter with the stock market, I have always believed that regular, innocent buyers and sellers alone aren't responsible for price actions, some "forces" are also involved. Perhaps this is why some people (economic pundits) call the market derogatory names (kalokalo, casino...) I wish boss PW can intimate me with these regulatory activities and how to profit by them. But intermediate term investing appears relatively safe. |
myjoy08:Boss, when people monkey-hunt they easily forget that "you can fool some of the people some of the the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time". Someday evil acts will boomerang. Plus, people who want to be treated with respect and civility should also behave responsibly. Obviously, the source of the "rain of prayer" was displeased. Lest I forget, I'm watching you in HD as you ply Ikoyi daily. Desist from monkey-hunting and you shall be saved. ![]() NB: Please anytime you see any of my posts you consider as inimical to sound investors, kindly correct me. |
Dumexoga: ![]() |
Agbalowomeri:Oga Agba, I was gentle, and still will be. |
Elai147:Boss, you should understand the basis of the post na. ![]() But did you say "gutteresesss"? It got me laffing seriously! |
Dumexoga:Prayer for your monkeys. When the wind has exposed the anus of the fowl, who needs prayers from her? |

Advice for the monkeys that thou seeketh. Would have none of it. |
