Agbalowomeri: I expect the market to bottom out next week, before the bulls

Volume still not convincing though breath and optimism appeared to gain tempo yestarday
BOSS, are you the Meristem analyst who obliges me market update? Your words are very similar.

@Mclrx: grin. You for don know Pastor na.

@SWG: I’m gentle, Sir. smiley

SWG1: Is moneysage among the prophets?
Nna ehn, I just gentle o. Indeed, Moneysage is not schooled in the art of prophesying. Meanwhile, your recent gentle, pastoral and subtle disposition interests me. Really. Is it due to the vagaries in cost of Oxygen atoms? #wetinOnOgocausefah grin grin grin (na joke o, biko!)

@Agbalowomeri: Nice observation. I used to make a fuss about the length of his posts...back in the days before you followed mercilicious here grin. Now, I'm numb and just read helplessly.
BTW, na money 'we' waka come find na. So, ALL is WELL as long as money flows in. Pa ihedioranma self just dey make him kudi silently, despite several attempts by erudite members to do the needful.

@Dexterax: Okomu made the most recent prophecy list o! Good omen? grin

Still talking about prophecies, we have been hearing forecasts of market reversal "in a matter of days"..."weeks"..."mid-Sept"... Pls, spread out your cards or spreadsheet and kindly revert.

@Agbalowomeri: You warned me fah. And if Moses could still lead at age 120yrs, then I will still prey on AFRIPRUD in the next 5 decades. "When there is life, there is hope!" sad

@passwelle: your posts (asides teeth sequencing grin) have been impressive. wink

sad

Shed no tears,
Perspire not,
Spit no fire!
For if it has taken 24 months
To recover cryptic 40 thousand - peacefully so,
Shall some disquiet recoup 80 huh
BnSITL have a two-fold solace:
That the value is not greater than as stated,
That by the experience of one, others may learn
And thus stop being "learners"
Tomorrow is a new day;
Once beaten, forever bold (not twice shy).

@passwelle: As a rider (and in the spirit of cynicism), what if he is one of the hopeful Nigerians who wished they could still buy Oando at NGN 20...what if the error was intended to induced panic or panic-selling?

To be safe, we may just assume some things as common or typo-errors..but in reality, there's MORE THAN YOU KNOW.

Wonder why the Nigerian reporters dont get it right, its 50k boe not bpd grin
Sir, some of them are jobbers (no offense intended sad ). You would be surprised - if it is worth your surprise - that the fellow who filed in that report has no single atom of Oxygen much as a cashier in GTB's employ lacks a unit of the bank's shares.

As investors, a good dose of cynicism and an indefatigable zeal to verify news/reports won't be excessive...cos "at all at all na im bad pass oh!"

Toluway: Your last paragraph reminds me of a radical strategy which i want to start implementing. Viz. Get a stock with a good fundamental, that is already rallying afresh, jump into the bus and be monitoring the time it will be getting close to the bus stop; then jump out. You would have made your own percentagge. The system is not foolproof though, if you find youself stranded in the bus, then convert to medium term. Simple.
Ah! What strategy have you been implementing since, Sir. undecided
This 'radical strategy' has been earning peeps COOL cash since the Great Depression. And it has also earned Moneysage a good sum since the time he learnt to spell his name.

@Dexterax: U still dey kwa! No qualms. Long term is always a safe haven. But I doubt any waiting will be SO long. (cc. Toluway)

@SKYQUEST: Amen. We're nothing but pencils... And Oga myjoy08 has been a constant pencil on this thread. Permit me to add a point to my earlier post:

6. Kindly reveiw myjoy08 recent posts or holler him for COOL prophecies regarding your picks. Note, you must have a means of Due Diligence because he will ALMOST CERTAINLY tell you to do your DD.

@Avantajj: Buying LOW has always HAD a proviso: That all listed coys enjoy equal attention of the Cowboys and the cycles of the former benefit from the interest of the latter. (or something like that)

In essence, while I admire your risk appetite, it will be good to factor in the interest of the game-players in our strategies. I'm reminded of a question stockbull asked sometime ago: "What if what you bought low falls further or refused to rise?" (paraphrased).
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 10:16am On Aug 25, 2014
@SKYQUEST: choi shocked Na so you get money money reach or you just dey feel our pulse on this forum? grin If I would advise you -and I really would - here are my thoughts:
1. Kindly prune down your thirst to 5 stocks with good "fundotechincal" standing. Seems you have just recovered from some chart studies grin, but you need more than that for this MIRACULOUS or STRANGE NSE.

2. Await a clear reversal pattern and, possibly, confirmations before you board any of those buses. FIDELITY is a possible target here.

3. Be sure you have news ±6months of any of the stocks you intend buying. TRANSCORP and ASHAKA comes to mind here. Would you want to board a bus that will refuse to move just after you obtain your ticket huh

4. You may kindly exercise some caution with DS and SKYE, perhaps.

5. You MAY get more from UBN than UBA in the short term.

#just my thoughts
#probabilistic ventures

@Dexterax: Nna ehn! How your hairy chest dey? grin

@securi: I saw that clause too oh. Eziokwu, Dexter no go kee person... #badt grin

@Agbalowomeri: U sef no go kee person. chai! Pls, would you sell me some Afriprud if I describe your physique correctly? (@ NGN 2.99).

Oga Feelamong, I'm really interested in HONYFLOUR; 10Afo units would do (@NGN 3.99)...just something for a bruv, as nitrogen has been helping Dexterax.

@9free: Are you still in DangSug? Seems the bears are having a good bite...NB: dis coy is yet to from the wounds of the last bears.

In this season of IMAGINATIONS, who shall imagine Pastor ihedioramma huh

Seems NSEMPA is back and better...thanks to Oando and lipsrsealed

@gabscity and dsonofmaan: Your wining no get part2 grin

@Oga Kotlass: Greetings!

Now, I know that NSEMPA is not the powerhouse of NSE daily activities, but if our Prophets could tell us something about HONYFLOUR, FIDSON and AFRIPRUD or help in dragging them down..."T'will be nice" smiley

grin

@ALL: The bears are just knocking on the door and people are trembling. "If you falter in times of trouble, how weak is your strength!" What if the bears touch DangCem, NESTLE, GTB and FBNH?? shocked

Folks, this is the time to watch. You may join the beans trade if you have the interest; you may also pull out funds to re-enter at lower prices. Whichever, stockbrokers will have the last laugh.

@Avantajj do u mean rally to NGN1.2 for Neimeth grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 1:19pm On Aug 13, 2014
Summer has come and gone (if I'm not wrong), we're now in the Fall. And stock prices are falling, too. The odds that more coys will shed weight are higher than the odds that GEJ will be bundled out of the FCT. grin

Oga Emma must be ROTFL where ever he is now - provided he is not nursing some SMN bruises.

Alluvasudden we stopped seeing the hashtag (#teamtranscorp0xy.....), Transcorp failed to reach NGN 8, and no more pastoral good wishes and positive-side expressions. If this is the game Dexterax has persistently and relentlessly preached, then who will beg to differ?

Finally, guess what folks? See, angry , if we touch 39000bpts (against the wishes of anti-Elliotists), the bourse shall likely surrender to another upswing before the elections, as "we" have been made to believe.

#NSEMPAshallnefadie...Hallelujah

Elai147: grin grin grin SMH, dis man... You should know she will never reject some good quantities of Nestle shares. Ask her to PM you her stock account details and do the needful. But don't come back here to complain of online dating fraud.
In contrast, I can offer 10Afo units of Oxygen (@ today's close) to bet that vgirl isn't an XX. ***Disclosure: I used to dine with bettors.

While 'we' await prophecies on the NSEINS, a peep at those on AIG's shoulder reveals picking up this coy at the nascent support may not be too hasty, esp. when in the oversold trough. However, I would think it will draw near its one-year support (NGN O.7) before an upside rally. sad

This thread is the definition of hilarity! Sincerely, u folks have contributed to my addiction to NSEMPA...and this is d only thread in NL I visit. Dragonking, hbrednic, gabscity, Agbalowomeri: I wish I could see u pple! Dexterax vs Pa ihedioramma no dey get part 2. Laff really wanted to kee me. grin (@Mclrx: I'm watching too o)

@Yem CEO: DangFlour seems like its starting a journey to insolvency. shocked Latest valuation metrics are in the negatives, and the cash flow may be a red herring.

@deept: Pls, let FBN fall to NGN 12. While it attempts to return to base, any discount won't be a bad deal.

@Dexterax: Sincerely, I don't know when that firm exited UBN. But ACM remain unshaken. It will be good to track them. Meanwhile, the free fall seems good for tranche buying.

@UkwuAmu: Apart from TA and FA, we now know Spiritual Analysis, Intellectual Analysis, Emotional Analysis (on Oando), but ur quest to unravel Sentimental analysis interests me, i.e. Factoring investor sentiment. Biko, pls keep us posted if u make a headway.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 11:27pm On Aug 01, 2014
@Trulie: swift and proper response from you! It's difficult to poke a thread like this - where acids flow when due - and go uninjured. U may need to PM the OP to change the name of this thread from NSEMPA to NSEGbogbonise. grin But to answer ur curiosity for intellectual analysis: Most people here have some basic knowledge of stocks and investment (never mind the jokes and d panic attacks) and may not dwell so much on analysis all the time.

U would want to get GOOD books on personal finance and stocks investment and read them alongside this thread. Read sound analysis here if you see one, and enjoy d jokes if no analysis...but your personal study remains invaluable.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 11:39am On Aug 01, 2014
eagleeye2: If the cheque becomes void or hijacked, is there anything I can do?
If void, then good news! Kindly get a Banker's Confirmation of Signature and present it with your Means of Identification. They will reactivate it for you...just that you may need to go there personally and physically.

If hijacked, then not good. It is difficult tracing such transactions in a system like Nigeria...cos it means d alleged theif has d same Name as you have and was able to get references to open a Current account. You wouldn't also know which bank and branch the cheque was paid in.

But, I doubt an e-dividend would hv been activated. So, u can activate an e-dividend form while u await the next gbemu from Pa Onasanya & co. grin

deept: following this thread is something else, drama here (to me) is third to USA/Russia and Israel/Hamas.
Relatively new to investing in Nigeria stock exchange/capital market and this thread has helped a lot, kudos to the ''ogas'' and ''dudes'' and ''guys'' and ''bnsitl''.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but looking at the results of skyebank and the current price of the stock, the stock is about 60% undervalued, true value should be about 8.50 thereabout? FBNH just reached its true value. A lot of stock in this market is overvalued.
Nice one, bro! It's been a while we saw u here. I'm also on FBNH's trail. Ur submissions are not incongruent.

@SoBrit: Pls take no offence at the response to your observation. Pple are entitled to their behaviour, never mind the touted disclaimers. Also, as UkwuSomething grin mentioned, it's difficult to see pple tell u when they are digging a gold mine (even if we are bnsitl)...Such is life. I don't call pple "real bad" or slight them for a faceless and presumed dishonesty. We swore NO oath of allegiance.

@Dexterax: I appreciate ur input. I also thought of 2 things: That the channel u talked about may last for a while (as I thought for UACN-P after the quasi gap down, with Oga Immanuello). Second, if any inflection happens from overall market mood, in the short term inter alia, then a negative one is likely.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 12:12am On Aug 01, 2014
eagleeye2: Can anyone help me in seeking for my Firstbank, dividend? How come up till now I have not received it?
I have sent a mail to them, and the replied that it has been sent and was not returned as unclaimed. But am uneasy here thinking maybe the some fraudulent people may have intercepted it and gone ahead to claim it.
Is the fraud of pre-market crash of 2008 still going on?
please I need answers.
Sir, I can imagine how you feel. If your request pertains the most recent pay out, then the response you are getting from First Registrars may not be absurd. Pls, kindly exercise patience (though not easy) till the cheque becomes void (Dec 2014), and ask the Registrars again.

NB: I'm giving a benefit of the doubt that the warrant has not been hijacked...maybe just wrongly delivered or kept in some place. sad
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Moneysage: 9:39pm On Jul 31, 2014
2. Oga Kotlass asked a very pertinent rhetoric here about one or 2 weeks ago. Perhaps because he asked many questions in dat post pple did not notice. "How much of the market do we control". Yes, that is d question! Someone may 2M units somewhere but how much do NL and SMN contribute to d NSE? Is it NL or SMN forum members dat bought d over 200M units in ACCESS yesterday? D big boys and Cowboys know what they are doing. D market has a mind of its own. So, I really marvel when I see pple panic because of what someone else analysed. Are they d CEO?

Pls, pple make ur decision; make up ur mind and dont let pple sway you back and forth. If you bliv Oando is d stock dat will mke pple rich, enter d bus and watch. If you think it is a joke, stick to ur game plan. There is so much hullabaloo about Oando...and pple are busy making money elsewhere!

As for me, I dey with my chewing stick, poring over fin statements and watching d bourse. Life is worth more than allowing hearsays here and there give one sleepless night....so tey na so so Company website pple dey hunt!!!

BTW, can we play d CWA game again? Dexter, speak if you can!

@dsonofmaan: Your observation on Oga Agbalowomeri was on point. cheesy

@all: pls permit me to share 2 things that may be of help to someone cos Moneysage don't know it all. I enjoy this thread a lot and pple may be missing something out:

1. When I discovered this thread, I had to ask myself:"Who is saying the truth? Do these pple actually buy/sell what they proclaim? Can they really disclose some info?..." No one can sure of who in a faceless forum. But pple hear the motherly JIJO of mercilicious, the OKOMU preaching of Dexterax, the ever positive insider info of oga myjoy08 and they conclude these pple are making sense. Now, when they turn to SMN and see melancholy, they start calling pple names (analyst e.t.c). Why would u bliv what anyone is saying...someone u cant see? U read analysis on Oando on SMN and u start thinking negative? Do u know why d person wrote it? Why would u think everyone has the same sincerity on NL and SMN? If myjoy08 appears real, does it mean every other comment u read online are worth considering?
