Under ECOWAS treaties Nigerian migrants are not illegal in GHANA and vice versa.


I understand putting certain restrictions on the inflow of Nigerian businesses into Ghana however for a Nigerian to take a position in support of this to me is unpatriotic and self defeating. you want people to change the country but you do not want to do anything to change it yourself.

This "minority rights" thing is just an adage. I can't find any dictionary definition that includes "minority rights" in the definition of democracy.

Neither can I find one that excludes it on paper but definitely observe this in active democracies world wide.

I don't think you want to go into a tug of war in definitions of democracy vs a republic, however it is safe to say that in contemporary terms as stated earlier it  "minority rights" are protected under a[b] COTEMPORARY DEFINITION [/b] of Democracy. If you can prove other wise with a reference or cite. I will be happy to take a look at it, otherwise

Ghana won't change its laws because of Nigeria. Ecowas did not state the amount one should pay before doing business in other countries. Every country has an amount you'll have to pay and it varies from country to country, so Mr Big Shot Nigeria, vamoose if you are too special to live by the rules!!!
