Well, I watched DISTRICT 9. And I have to say that it's the VERY BEST action sc-fi movie for the year 2009. And it's rating among critics all around has been very high. Regardless of what we may all think about the movie and were it was shot, I have to give kudos to the director for his creativity and the excellent storyline. I agree that I was a bit upset about them portraying Nigerians wrongly, but I just laughed over it.

I was looking forward to this movie but in the end gave the movie a resounding C+, not because of anthing to do with the Nigerians but for me the story was too obvious, it lacked a lot of direction, had no thrill to it, really nothing to write home about.

The special effect was all that was about good for me.

i think we hav ejsut become really numb to al the hollywood hogwash coming out that anything that deviates from the status quo looks really good.

Not for me though

i've hung out with Jim here in the states and that guy obviously has a napoleonic syndrome and the guy english is terrible .

he tries to blow grammar but uses very stagne conjuctions when speaking.

The movie was obviously a SATIRE at events that have taken place in the past and currently transpiring in South Africa over the past couple of years i.e District six saga,immigration, foreigners, illegal aliens, xenophobia and crime.

Substitute the "Aliens" for the "zimbabweans,mozambicans or other illegal aliens and you should get it.

Nigerians are actually portrayed accurately in this movies in terms of the scale of reference.
They are able to manipulate these slum areas to their advantage.

The sad part is some SA's don't even realize that the writer of this movie is actuallly depicting the xenophobic nature of South Africans in general

Do you agree with these laws as authentic. Have they been distorted?

If they have been distorted. Please point out the distortion. How do you acknowledge these messages yet at the same time condemn them?

Is is safe to say that all these lawas cept the one highlighted were inherited into the laws given to "the messenger"?

Christians and jews were oblige to have a special prayer on friday but they neglect it. Thats the fact. Why do christian have good friday ? The scope behind it is because it is holy and not because jesus was crucified. How can a man be crucified and yet name that day a good day ? Jesus never wanted to be crucified see luke 22:42

Where did you see an obligation by Jews for prayers on friday? Where is the fact?


Good friday is only one friday in a year so I don't understant the relevance.


Why do Moslems not adhere to the sabath yet God specifically mentions this as an authentic law unchanged and passed down to the generation of believers or are you saying the ten commandments are not authentic which means Moses is not authentic.

Message of the prophets are authentic. The ten commandments are valid and followed by the muslim till day. Sabat was not mentioned in the Quran as long as i can remember except in your bible, so i can't say anything regarding that, we all know that the bible suffered from addition and subtraction

The Sabath/Ten commandments are from the orignal hebrew text of the  Talmud/Torah not the "bible" or did the jews distort the ten commandments as well.

For what purpose/advantage would distorting this commandment profit them.

If teh Quran is the perfection of law and messages. Why is this important one missing. It should be in there so there is no dispute on this matter for eternity.


You really think its mere coincidence why Moslems go to mosque on Fridays, Jews on Saturday and Christians on Sunday.

I still don't get your rambling. We follow the law of Prophet Muhammad and not moses or jesus, there are many things that are unlawful to past Prophets but to Prophet muhammad were made lawful. The ten commandments and many laws of the Past Prophet are inherited down till today because their message is one, God monotheism-This is the islamical point of view

Before the Prophet(SAW)'s death, in His last sermon, He said He is leaving for us two things; the Qur'an and the Hadith. Allah perfected our religion by giving us a life instruction manual- the Qur'an. Its for this reason that muslims worship in uniform. Answer; Who ever made the statement the old is washed away was creating a new doctrine for themselves so if you beleive in God and his law then full ten commandments should be adhered to, no exceptions.

The day Christ redeemed the church through a final battle wiff death is the day we worship Him.

Did God or man give you that information or was that an excuse to seperate this new religion from the old one.
