2. First, you must understand that Christianity is a lifestyle, and not some decision you make on a whim. So if you are motivated by fear of men, then it is probably not for you to begin with. Second, Jesus Christ, who eventually fell victim to the men against Him made it clear that anyone who wants to be His follower should not fear men but fear God instead. He also advised that they flee to the next town when persecuted in His name. So, anyone who is not willing to obey has no business claiming to be a Christian, to begin with. It is a simple as that given that the word "Christian" is meant to reference those who live their lives in obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ to begin with, and no be by force, these things.

This is one problem I have with people like you. You just pick a part of a scripture (Quran or Bible) and center your argument around it without reading further to get the contextual message. Again, that verse is meant to admonish believers to fear their creator more than any creature and like I said earlier, I can’t help you.
Being a fervent Christian/Muslim/Jew or monk isn’t a direct ticket to suicide. Even Jesus, the father and foundation of the Christian faith was afraid when the hour came upon him and the Bible made us know that the Angels comforted him “And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” Matthew 26:39”
He begged God to make the hour pass him if it was possible. Maybe you should call Vatican and probe why the Pope is guarded like a notorious drug kingpin then. I know we all yab Nigerian Pastors but this one no follow at all my friend. If you have the money and you’re a big personality, invest more in your security because wealth, power and fame naturally attract hate even if you’re the most benevolent human on earth.
Mr Sulaiman did nothing wrong protecting himself and I blame our government for not adequately aiding our security personnel. They have zero readiness for ambush attacks and they are not even supposed to be guarding VIPs in the first place but that’s a topic for another day.

And yes, anybody can do a legit transaction with you, then tag it a fraudulent transaction, gets a court order and money would be reversed back to him. Baba, things dey happen.
Op must act fast by getting a counter order and funds would be released. Banks can't go against court order.

Yes I know it must have been done through a bank order but you can’t tell me to start looking for this said customer when you can approach the court or anyone who gave the order to tell you who brought the fraud claim before the court. The recipient’s bank can also be contacted so why stressing Op to start looking for one Folake all over Ibadan? If you ever lived in Ibadan you would understand OP’s plight. You can see someone today and not see them forever again. The city is bigger than you telling someone to start looking for a stranger who just walked into his/her shop for a business transaction. The bank knows what to do and OP should let them know that the CBN would be carried along while he seeks Justice.

I have a Pos shop in Ibadan which I put someone there to manage for me, we accept card transaction and also transfer from bank.

It happened that on the 15th of October 2022, someone came to do transaction in my shop so he sent 20000 twice from Opay with the account name FOLAKE KOLAWOLE and the transaction was confirmed and the person paid his money.

To my greatest surprise last week Friday which happened to be 21st of October 2022,I received some money into my account and I realised the sum of 40000 naira was withheld in my account so on getting to the bank today 24th October,22 I was told the bearer FOLAKE KOLAWOLE reported the transaction as fraud and that was the reason the money was withheld.

I asked for the way forward and I was told I will have to contact the said kolawole folake so she can go to her bank and clear the transaction whereas there is no means to get the lady and no phone number attached.

So I am appealing to all and sundry if u know any kolawole folake that banks with Opay and did a transaction of 20000 twice to an access account so I can reach her or if there’s any other means

You have no business doing with that said Folake. Hold your bank responsible and let them know that the cbn will be aware and be carried along through the whole proceedings. Does this mean that anybody can just send you money and later file a fraud claim against you. Your bank can’t just ask you to start looking for a Folake to have your account unfrozen. Press them harder and they will tell what has happened to your money. And you sef con start to dey find why, we too dey tolerate nonsense for this country

Well if you had taken your time to read what you quoted carefully, you would have realized that I emphatically said our Government are not equipping our armed forces (police and soldiers) well enough to the point that they get squashed easily by ragtag assailants. I didn’t say it was the pastor’s responsibility to equip them with bulletproof vehicles and vests. Police are not even supposed to be used as escorts if Nigeria was a working society. There are loads of private security companies that take care of such and the people they recruit to work for them are usually veterans with enough experience in the field.

At this point and rate, I can’t help you sir and yes you got it now, what God says in that verse was meant to urge believers to not fear humans more than their Creator and the point is that they shouldn’t fear humans not because humans won’t be able to kill you because you are a believer but that you should fear your Creator more; he who has the power to kill both your body and soul.
The verse doesn’t say believers should lower their arms and munitions in front of enemies to be used as easy targets and it doesn’t say they shouldn’t be afraid of evil men because divine protection is assured once you’re a believer
A high profile person protecting himself with escorts is not a sin. Being a pastor/imam/monk is not a death sentence; it doesn’t mean you should die cheaply and any time. Maybe you should ask Vatican the reason why the Pope is also heavily guarded.
Protecting one’s life is a sacred obligation because the life is not even yours.
I asked you to give me a verse that says Christians shouldn’t defend themselves against adversaries; a verse that says divine protection is guaranteed for them and you’re here blabbing about a verse you don’t even understand grin

If Osibanjo had emerged the presidential candidate we all know that the other tribes would have voted for him...but now the shoe is on the other foot and this tribe is determined to plunge Nigeria into full blown anarchy because they want to support their tribesmen even when it is crystal clear even to the blind that said candidate is morally, mentally and physically unfit for that position.

All this is simply because there’s no other viable alternative. The oppositions could have done better by presenting better personalities or even someone who’s unknown or virgin [/b]to the Nigerian politics, [b]someone with zero political scandals. If not for their senseless tribal violence and corruption among their elite classes, the northerners remain the most upright people in this country. Before the sad advent of Fulani herdsmen menace, having business deals with northerners always came with peace of mind compared to an omo ibo (apologies to the few upright and responsible Ibos) from my personal experience, I can never ever have a secret business deal with a southerner without involving third parties (going legal) . I condemn in strong terms the killings and suppression of the youths but why is no one protesting the killings that have been going on in other places?
Why are the Easterners not taking their protests to the heart of Anambra to ensure that Nwafor gets publicly disgraced and mobbed to death for his atrocities?
