Dear Brethren,

...for the Egyptians [BC and IELTS] whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
The day has come for us to be set free from these Egyptians. They have somehow given me some sort of mixed feelings though. Nevertheless, I am extremely grateful to God that my morale didn't wane down to a nadir.

Please seniors in the house, look into this my issue.

In my own case, POF is 6m but I have never had 6m sitting in my account over 6 months. However, my account transactions credit and debit has hit over 35m over the last 5 months but As I write my balance is about 950k.

By virtue of my business, I don't keep money rather I put money in a lot of business ventures to make more money.
I have 950k now but if I want to submit by the end of the week, I can recall some of my funds to make up the 6m balance I need to show

My question is

Looking at my situation, I will have the money whenever I want it but I don't have it stored up for 6 months even though my account statement shows I have received about 6times the POF over a 6 months period. is this a problem?

Plz I need help on this issue.

I do not think this is a new issue and not a problem, people have had the complete POF dumped in their account 2-3days before submitting their application (Check page zero, I know there's someone on that list that got PRR through that, if you can deligently read all PPR stories on that page, you will find the person) It would be good if you can get the letter in CIC's format, you would not need to use your SOA nor explain, but if not, use your SOA, and write a comprehensive LOE with proof that your net cash flow for the last 6mmonths is about 35million and explain the kind of business you do with your capital.. and stay calm.. nothing new under the sun bro

I wish everyone still waiting for IELTS, WES and ITA God's favour. The journey to PPR have started.

I have the following questions:

1. I have reference letters from the three places I worked in Nigeria dated November 2017. Hope I can still use them? I collected them when I visited Nigeria last year.

2. Can I just request for my stamped and signed statement of account from my bank for the POF (It is a UK account)? If no, can someone give me the template for the POF letter.

3. By God's grace, I should have my first child in a couple of days from now, should I wait to have the child before submission or I can proceed with the submission? Also considering the fact that I might not be able to process and get the baby's passport sorted ASAP cos of passport shortage and bureaucratic bottlenecks in Nigeria embassy, London.

4. Who is the best officer to approach at Alagbon for the PCC (cheap price and speed)?

Tankiu

1. Yes

2. Most UK banks do not give letters for POF, I am in UK as well my bank (Llyods Bank) told me they can only give some stamped documents to me which could cover some of the things CIC is requesting but not a direct letter to CIC simply written for the POF purpose. I have email conversations with the bank's Complaint team and their reply which I attached to my LOE as this will convince the VO that I at least try to get the bank letter in their format. You could do that with your bank too if they are not giving the letter in the format.

3. I think you should wait as someone advised.

4. Office Moshood did my Nigerian PCC in 2days for about 8k.. he's reliable.

This people are not serious o. They increased number of invited candidates and put tie-breaking rule effective May 2017. Give with one hand, collect it back with the other.
Congrats to all ITA recipients. It is a celebration something.

CIC may decide what the new cut off score would be based on how many people they want to invite, however, I do not think they are the one picking the tie-breaking date and time. It is simply the oldest person in the pool who has 442. Computer software would just sort that for them. I would assume this person had a lower score previously and did something to improve his/her score lately cos if he/she had had 442 since May 2017, he/she would have received ITA since May 31, 2017, when the cut off was 413.

Congratulations to all those who received ITA. To those still waiting for IELTS, WES/NASU and then ITA, Keep hope alive guys, the cut-off is dropping and sooner or later it will reach your turn. However, if there is an alternative you can use to increase your score say IELTS, please take the risk, you never know.
To all those gathering documents and looking for POF may God help us. Those waiting PPR, CoPR and landing, God's speed and Favour.

Don't you ever give up! Remember that if you do, it doesn't change your situation.

Download the form first, there is a place where you will sign on page 4 of the Schedule A form. I believe that's what they are referring to (subject to correction).
Plus have you had any visa refusal?

Hi nairalanders, I urgently need advise on my transcript to wes. I was given my transcript sealed and stamped across the envelope last year November to send by myself to wes. I'd like to know which is preferable sending it from ogun state the location of my university or sending it from lagos where I reside via ems,ups or dhl. I want to know if this won't be questionable by wes that I am sending the transcript by myself instead of the school sending it directly. Your prompt response woukd highly by appreciated friends. Thanks.

I do not believe WES will track which city your transcript was dispatched from, as long as your transcript's envelope stamping fulfils WES' requirement stated on their website, I think you are fine sending from wherever you are. I stand to be corrected however, this is just my own common sense thinking

Hi. Pardon me if this seems like a silly question, but how does one request for transcript (MSc) from a foreign university if you are no longer physically present in the country? Do you just email them the forms from WES?
Is the process same for online acquired masters degree?

Universities overseas (if not africa oo, cos Ghanaian uni. is also a foreign uni.) are well organized. Speak to the student services of your school via email, they will respond within 24hours and let you know how to request transcripts and whatever verification document is required.

Hi Seniors,
Status: Post ITA.
I have had a couple of visa refusals in the past and also several travels. I want to try as much as possible to avoid this thing called ADR after submitting my Application and I would like to attach Schedule A form and Travel History Form upfront.

Please, which section would be best to upload these documents? LOE or Passport/Travel Document section?

Thank y'all.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by mosbiod(m): 4:40pm On Jan 25, 2018
Oh Thank you.. I will address it in my LOE and attach the Employment Letters, Payslips and anything I can find for the other jobs to avoid the ADR thingy, thanks again for the advice.
happytbaby:
Please note that you might still get ADRs for them, so be prepared. you may want to address the issue upfront with an LOE in spite of moving to personal history.

I am Post-ITA, I will move them to personal history. Thank you.

happytbaby:
Oga Mosbiod,

I am not sure of this your question ni o, please clarify...you are post-ITA and you want to delete some work history, enter them in personal history and then check if you still meet the lowest cut-off CRS for the draw which gave you ITA?

Hi Seniors, I got to a section to upload my documents and it's asking for 3 Employment proof of employment. I have had 3 jobs but I am only using 1 to claim points and I have received the reference letter from the employer for this job.

Can I remove the other 2 jobs from the "Work History" section and leave the only one I'm using to claim points so I won't be needing references from employers which is not necessary?
The "Personal History" section already contains all the jobs with an indication that it was an employment.

Please, kindly advise accordingly, I just don't want to make any silly mistakes ooo.. angry smiley

Algbenguze:

Wait,!wait!! wait!!! Is that supposed to be a timeline?
See, you’ll need to first put an intro... Something like “PPR is finally here” or you fit add small Christianese like “God has done what no man can do”. U fit even use song sef, like “Come and join me sing hallelujah...”.
Secondly, you’ll start with your IELTS test results, then date of ECA report, date of ITA and AOR...and eventually PPR. You know, something like that.
Oya go back and start again using the format I gave you. Then and only then will we congratulate you appropriately. Lol

Na play I dey o. Congratulations!

Thank you all so much. My problem is that i was given 15 days to send my passport to Accra but my passport is presently at the UK Embassy. I’m so confused....

I think they usually allow extension is some cases.. if you send them an email with evidences why you can not make the 15days allowed. Some people on this thread have done that before
But how long do you think UK will take to release your passport? You can also pay the UK embassy some money for fast track, however, if the UK visa is not so important than your Canadian PR, withdraw your application for the UK visa and get you passport back within 10working days.

cc: Cochtrane please advise accordingly.

My people, I waited so long for the results to be released before going in for a budget presentation. In fact, the thought of the results kept me cold all through the session so much that at a time, the CEO asked someone to put off the AC because he felt it was too cold for me. Him no know sey na IELTS result anxiety dey shake my body grin grin.

Anyway, I wrapped up a while ago and the first thing was to check the much awaited result. LRWS: 7.5,9,8,8.5. Even though this was better than the previous, 'L' somehow contrived to throw a spanner in the works yet again. By my assessment, I did pretty well in the listening test of January 6 that I expected nothing short of an 8. Well, it didn't quite happen as expected but as the saying goes, "winners never quit". I logged on to the BC site and registered for the next available test here in Lagos. Perhaps my early morning (Fast and Furious) drive to Ibadan that day might have affected my concentration levels, I can't tell. I shall be back again but with good news. There's no room for letting up

Thanks GlitteringStar and Mosbiod for checking. We go finally make am for this Canny journey

Make sure your wedding date actually falls after AOR before adding him.
Being totally silent on his military job may backfire if they find out. That will result in a 5 yr ban which is much longer than the 1 yr wait (which isn’t cast in stone anyway) that you’re trying to avoid.
The only other option is to apply as single if you’re in so much hurry to enter Canada. The downside of that approach will also be the long wait involved in sponsoring a spouse.
Think it through properly.
