Congrats to those that got ITA and new PPRs.. this thread is the bomb and happy to see people moving forward step by step.

So I've got a lil challenge as per my PPR.. after receiving a 30day extension from CIC while my passport is with the UK Home office and was due to be returned to me last week.. Home Office decided to write me a letter last Friday to inform me they need more time to decide about the application I made to them which means they will still have my passport with them. I have written to them attaching every evidence that I need my passport to be sent to CIC. However, looking at how close my new deadline is approaching I may need another extension from CIC undecided

... even if I have to cancel my application from the UK Home office and get my documents back, the procedure takes a couple of weeks.

Please house, how possible it is to get another extension from CIC based on genuine reasons? anybody knows anyone who has ever been in this case before? Please advice..

You can get an extension, email CIC and attach the UK visa application form and other pages showing that your passport should be submitted to the UK Home office.. I didn't specify the reason why I have an application with UK.. So Sorry for late response, I hardly check my mentions..

Update, I've spoken to CIC and they have extended the passport submission by 1 month.

Lol not in my spam oo... My gmail subdivided itself into about 4 sections "Primary, Social, Promotions and Updates" and only important emails come to the Primary section .. the rest find it's way into other sections.

Mine is Ottawa... this London myth sef, I studied and live in the UK and I had thought my application would be processed in London. I guess every application is Unique like they will always say..

Hi Peeps, I don't know if is truly PPR email or how it looks like... I think i am confused..
the first paragraph looks like this

"Dear Mosbiod,

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform CPC-Ottawa immediately... "

Somebody help confirm oo

I also need to request an extension for the submission of the passport as I do not have the passport with me, it's with UK home office and would take some days before I get it.

My people, is there a new way/format to request the VO where an application is being processed? It been 3 months After AOR and I have sent the regular format several times, but no response... this waiting ain't funny no more.. please help

I think there is a thread for the current UK application, go into the thread and join any major group at first, from there you could find those who are in your shoes too. Wish you the best!!

Honestly bro, you can't just come to page 300 of part 3 of a thread to ask all of these I'm afraid, things have been discussed to cover and uncover all your questions, candid advise, why don't you go to page 0 of part 1 of this thread and read onward till here (I know it's long but it's worth it oooo)... I bet you could possibly get PPR before December without asking no more questions.. you will be a silent reader and come to give your testimony.. READ READ and READ!
