repairpalng:Does that include the repair fee? |
Morning boss, how much would it cost to repair a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge screen AMOLED display. A new screen with workmanship fees. |

Are the follow screen replacement new or used? |
Encitee3991:Is the " I won't do that "Sarcasm? If it isn't then the seller is so wise so reduce the value to something so small... damn. Did you split the card payment? Or it was before the limit |
Encitee3991:Congrats boss, did you also reduce the value and change the name on the package? |
Thanks |
shopwiser:If this works can you update us on the store and method you used in paying. |
krozay:Thanks for the quick reply boss. I heard even GTB has reduced their limit to $100 (Gobe). Is this true? When I try to get mine, I'll apply the same tactics as yours. I hope Dollar won't have skyrocketed by then, make local man no go buy Realme c15 for the price of 7 5g. |
krozay:Greetings boss. I want to order this exact phone, preferably the 6gb 64gb version, but the way Naira is depreciating, I might have to settle for the Realme 6; the economy is very terrible. Questions: Did you buy it after the $100 monthly limit on Naira mastercard? If yes, how did you circumvent around the limit? Did the seller help you reduce the price value printed on the package to help with customs issue? Did the seller help change the name on the package to avoid the wicked eyes of post offices staff? I've heard of how missing ordered phones are rampant and I must confess I'm scared of that. Thanks |
Brunosamel:Thanks, I'll tell him to do that |
Brunosamel:I know right. Will a mail to EFCC suffice or reaching out to them on social media will be better |
Lexusgs430:Thanks, I'll ask if he has such connection. |
Top of the morning(or midnight) to all Nairalanders, I need advice on helping a friend out. A good friend and colleague of mine, an aspiring entrepreneur was ripped off during a cryptocurrency transaction about two weeks ago; bearing in current policies on cryptocurrency transactions, I know it may be uncertain but I hope your help can go a long way in reclaiming his money. THE STORY According to him, he was added to a TELEGRAM group that's about cryptocurrency exchange, he didn't know who added him (a lot of people has his contact details though). He said he saw a lot of transactions going on on the group (BTC and Ethereum) with claims of evidence posted for such transactions. As a kind of person who loves to make use of opportunities, he decided to transact with a member of the group; my friend needed Ethereum coins. He and the seller decided they needed a middleman and the seller suggested he (the seller) would contact the Admin. of the group. He contacted the so called Admin. of the group and the person sent his account details. My friend was asked to send his wallet link which he did. He transferred the amount for the transaction; more than #70 000 to the so called Admin. who confirmed to have received it on the group. Immediately he received it, my friend was removed from the Telegram group and the seller has blocked him. Not a single coin was sent to my friend's wallet. My friend has reported to the bank, but the bank asked him to report to EFCC about the fraudulent practice; they said EFCC will give both party's banks the directives. He doesn't want to report to the Nigerian Police Force because they might just ask for money without providing any substantial solution - he has lost enough money as it is. PROBLEMS Because he was added to the group and not a direct link, he doesn't have the number of the seller or the Admin. but he can get one of those numbers from the bank through his transaction. He also ignorantly deleted he conversations by reporting it them as spam to Telegram hoping they could do something about. He said he can't find the messages and didn't screenshot them. I know the deal was all kinds of shady when he narrated his ordeal, and I've cautioned him about transacting on the net. No amount of abuse meted on him can recover his funds, only ways to go about it can. PLEASE I NEED ADVICE ON HOW TO HELP HIM OUT. Thank you |

Hahjascho:The thing is my passion almost totally doesn't fall in line with medicine, I love phones and laptops ( gadgets principally), repairing them, knowledge about them, computer stuff generally. Is there any way I can incorporate that into studies, I don't want the minor stuff to hinder the major stuff. |
Hahjascho:Yea, too bad a lot of people aren't giving opinions. Seems like it's been wired for medical students to think about studies only. |
Powerfly:Change your mind frame ma'am, it happens a lot, doesn't mean one is gay. Please don't say no offense intended when you're driving at one. |
Ujawissy:Not to be myopic; how can these languages help as I develop along the line, it's not like the human body understands computer coding. |
IvarTheBoneless:I like the idea of learning from a technician, what kinda equipments do you friends sell? Did they start selling right from school? |
Good morning nairalanders. Lemme just get straight to the point. So I'm in preclinicals and I must say it's really a big deal, trying to assimilate a lot of information in a somewhat short time. Due to this Corona break which has extended past what I imagined, I realised that 4 months has gone (whew! just like that), no job, no trade; because I was mainly focused on my studies in school. REASONS FOR THIS POST A front page post mentioned a person who knew a medical doctor but also versatile in computer programming (Nigeria's educational system isn't flexible enough for this except the person learnt prior to entering school). A friend of mine (same course) is trying to learn html/CSS, and I knew it'd take time because I tried it before gaining admission and it took time to get accustomed to it.(I stopped a few years back though). Studying Medicine and surgery requires utmost dedication and hard work, the little I've seen reminds me of this fact everyday. Nigeria as a country is failing with each passing second, I don't see this country improving by the time I graduate. I don't want to put all my eggs in a basket. My questions are: As a medical student, is there any career that can go along side studying medicine? Hopefully schools resume this year, what kinda side business can go along the course? Or any areas of development that'll go a long way. |
BluntNigerian:The superheroes we need |

Honestly it'll be hard for you to combine the stress and workload of studying medicine with working, just go for computer science or engineering; something practical not medicine where you'll devote your whole 6 years to studying alone. |

Texti65:Dating someone is at one's discretion, buying things for someone likewise. She didn't put a gun to his head. Men should know spending doesn't automatically equate to love. |
After I read several abortions I just tire, and the girl is just 22 years old. If you can't bear the responsibility of having a child be sensible enough to prevent a zygote from forming. Life has become so advanced there are a thousand and one ways of preventing pregnancy. Only God knows if I'll marry, because if I do sef, the lady I will marry will think I'm paranoid. Nobody can be trusted; both the male and female gender. Our hands are dirty, nobody is excluded, the morales of the society have been discarded into the ocean. |
Pikin dey do you. What happens when a small boy talks to a pretty girl for the first time. Your mind needs work. |
ok |
![]() Lemme laugh first This is why we ask men to marry women that have something running or get them something to do. After coughing up 8months salary which she is fully aware of, spending on marriage, paying house bills, she and the family are asking him to cough another 2 months salary out. This is not only selfish , unreasonable, but also wicked. The wife's family is not his priority, his priorities are his immediate family and his wife are. The family treated their own bleep up by asking extravagantly despite having knowledge of the husband's wallet. The wife now double bleeped up by saying double trash. The husband did well jare, the wife should just apologize and shut up since she's not offering anything to the family. Nobody should date or marry knowing that he or she is and/or will be the sole provider and keep saying God will do it. Mouth won't pay bills, money will. Guys don't be the well where your partner fetches water from, tell them to dig their own well, two wells are not too much in a relationship. |
amosrich: ![]() Got lost following that direction mate, I was told was what I sought after has not come into existence. |
drake49:Actually, you didn't make a bad choice. The only significant differences are the 500mAH battery difference, design, side mounted fingerprint sensor and punch hole camera. Note 8pro has better gaming performance (yes you can browse about it from different platforms), better camera pixels, and you get to upgrade to the coveted android 10. You see most phone brands release mid range phones that give very little to no difference because they know it will be affordable and won't want to make the previous one stale(think Tecno and Infinix although Xiaomi is way better). The only real upgrade you get is after 2 years or on high end phones. Rock your phone well bro, don't regret it...I might just get the Note 8 pro sef |
amosrich:Please point me in his/her direction. |
