Come on! You've got it, why not flaunt it. In a matter of days i will be self-publishing one work of mine and sharing it with over 15+ outlet abroad. what issue have you got with Self publishing? Have you forgotten you haven't make a name yet and no publisher will want to risk their money on an unknown writer. I'm not discouraging you, but don't think you've queried publishers like i have done.

Thats the way forward bro. Pls adhere. You have it in you.

Not that I can't self publish, the only problem I have with the idea is the marketing of the book. As they say, you have done nothing if people don't get to appreciate what you've done

It's a real serious issue, crime fiction stories are not by any means encouraged in Nigeria. Yes, I've tried farafina. It didn't come positive
Literature / What Do I Do With My Manuscript by MosD: 4:44pm On Jan 11, 2017
I have this completed crime fiction manuscript (note; a complete novel, not a short story) that I once entered for an all african crime fiction competition and was picked one of the best three. But afterward, I've tried to get a publisher for it to no avail, though Nigeria is sure short of crime fiction publishers. I'm still hanging on to the manuscript because I don't want to self publish. Please I really need advice on how to handle it

I'm not a supporter of Jonathan, but he often said it then that corruption can't be fought by chasing people but through systematic means; that's ippis and bvn at work, an initiative of both Jonathan and Buhari's regime

doubleportion:
If you are wise, intentionally add a little foolishness, too much wisdom can destroy a wise man.

I got that from my dad, and it had been engraved in my mind, it has helped me in various aspect of life

Jesus also said, agree with your enemy while you are on the way so he will not bother to bring you before the judge.

It's good we equip our self with wise sayings so we can impact positively in our children, the most intelligent quote I heard this year came from a lady's dad. She said her dad will often tell them that in the world of today, you have to run as fast as you can to remain in one place. Can you beat that!

Sealeddeal:
[Quoted=red sceptic]
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.- Ecclesiastes 9:11
I am not a christian but this post above is a great one.

If you not a christian but appreciate that quote, then you a liberal reader, we should all be

ovadozes:
"If I stand tall it's because I stand on the shouders of those who came before me"
This quote is applicable to everything my elder brother has done for me. I am practically standing on his shoulder.

That's touching! The greatest desire of a man is for him to be appreciated, your elder brother will be proud of you

Sounds paradoxical, thinking deep, there's wisdom in it

What is the wisest saying you have ever heard or read? Mine is "if you made a mistake and give excuse, you have made two." Since I read this years back, I simply take responsibility for my error and it has helped me a great deal. What is yours, it could change someone's life
