They are mostly like:
VO: “Who is your Sponsor?”
You: He’s this and that

It’s even the way you, that would trigger the possible question of “Do you’ve his account statement” to show prove.

You now showing prove in like ‘3 ways’ might sound as if it’s not ‘really’ capable.

Why not try to make it just a SOA, if it seems later not possible go with the 3. But try to ‘table’ who your sponsor is very very well (package him) for them not to ask for his statements.

No. No age ‘discrimination’ in the USA path., especially in the admission process. Just package your profile and apply to schools and get admits.

It might be ‘query’ during your visa interview, like the visa officer asking you “WHY ARE YOU GOING FOR Msc now?”, ofc, you would have prepared convincing answers before the embassy time.

Again, no age; race; relationship status palava during admission process. I’ve someone who get admits and now in the USA last year at 42. Yeah, everybody’s case is different but still don’t ‘fold’ because of your age, that’s the least thing to worry about.

But my personal advice is to follow the sequence on his WAEC result or would be on his WAEC result.

And if he’s a ‘baby’ i think getting new birth and LGA cert would be easier than going through the 9ja immigration for names correction, those people might take forever to rectify.

Funny enough, if you want to go through immigration again for maybe possible correction they would use more than weeks and you said you guys interview is forthcoming, not to risk it just go with it that way and try to get the courts’ affidavit to back Up. I think this way should/would do.

I guess the mistake is from his NIN, because that is what (NIN details) they use during Passport stuff. I remember I had to update my NIN (also name arrangements) before I could re-apply for my second passport (last year), I guess I want lucky enough to have be alert by them to do that before they proceed.

Please, how do I keep checking? because when my husband was doing his, he could only access that interview date calendar page only twice and he was told that he's exceeded his limit when trying it the third time.

Yeah, there seem to be a limit on daily checks. Maybe 5 or so, not sure.

When you log in; refresh the page if you don’t see a favorable date to pick, just close to the tab and come back to check out after an hour or two.
or
When you hear ‘rumor’ that “Date don dey show early dates oh”, quickly log in and pick.

Until you pick; schedule for an interview and possibly get approval, you can always and keep checking your CGi portal.

Try to reach out to Sevis via their support email.

Tell him to enter any WESTERN UNION. Send him your Sevis coupon, that you generated. When he gets to Western Union, he would find his way out.

Don’t forget WESTERN UNION, he should not try using Check; Money Order, or Card.

Yeah, SEVIS FEE expires after 365days.

You would need to pay a new fee ahead of your next visa interview if the last one has expired.
After getting the new Sevis deets, send them to your school's International Programs (who issued you i20) to help update your documents, that you have a new SEVIS deets.

I need to first let you know that DEM NO DEY RUSH FILL DS160. Get a Visa Date First, Start the filling 1month to the interview day. Do it a section after the other.

And again, L.MAO. Make person come in person for the filling up help? Lol. No nah.
This is 2021, where do put Technology? You can be put through over the Mobile (phone or system). Worst case schedule a zoom or Google meet meetings, but it is not even up to the Case.

Again, there is still time, just get other things (i20, appointment date) set, let ds160 be your last thing to do. Yeah, you can get a visa date before ds160 filling.

When the actual time comes, and you have gotten stuff from the bosses and maybe still need insight on Ds160 filling, you can reach out to ME as your LAST option but I no fit come OSHODI FOR YOUR CASE oh. Lol

The normal routine is to keep checking and checking.

PS: Don’t forget only basic change(s) can be made to your concurrent ds160, reason being the 1st own you went to interview with has been saved on your profile, so any change(s) you’re to make, you already have a reference in their system.

E.g: You changing like a Job experience, that you already filled before.

You know you can’t ‘un-work’, I mean, you can’t tell a VO that you didn’t work where you said you worked before. The VO would easily asked and if not asked sef, you’d appear to the VO like “This one no sabi wetin him dey do sef”.
Like, I said they already have the info you saved with them at hand already and would ‘definitely’ be for long.

Don’t forget that you also need to work “WHAT HAS CHANGED?” before your next trial.

But nobody would tell you if you can get VISA approval with your profiles (both working and academic) because VISA PROCESS is another thing entirely. It would between YOU; THE VISA OFFICER and GOD. Please, explain in details. I mean, find a story to tell and how it’s changed.

E.g Like, talk about how your course of attendance was high then, and how it’s ‘low’ now; and easily can be pay by your sponsor.

How the VO see that you don’t have home ties before now you’ve propose to your long time Lover and you’re to marry after your study.

Come up with something and end it well.

PS: Everyone that got denied before were given the SAME form (home ties). So, going to be too basic filling just that form section for the denial reason.

Yea. You can! So far you already have admit.

- You setup your cgi portal
- Pay visa fee
- Update your cgi portal with the visa fee receipt
- Then you start seeing dates.

During the filling up of your CGI page, you would come across where to input your i20 and Sevis deets, just find something like the required character and fill up, when you receive your i20 and SEVIS details you update your profile.

Don’t forget all ‘that’ are NOT CRIME or OFFENSE. So, no penalty, it is just way of ‘beating’ getting earlier appointment date.

If you think you would get the passport before then don’t cancel. Otherwise, cancel now, and start looking for another date around when you think the passport would be available. To avoid paying another visa fee. Don’t forget you can only cancel / reschedule once.

After, you make payment via GTBANK or on GTBank mobile app (N67,200).
You need; your passport deets to fill the payment form.

After the payment, you go back to your cgi portal to update your payment transaction receipt.

After the update, you would be seeing the available visa interview dates.

PS: While creating the portal your might see an error message of not being able to create. Send the below email to their support system:

Before you Shoot for Undergraduate, know these:

Sincerely, Undergraduate hardly have adequate ‘assistantship’ avail for them from the schools.

Unless the school is affiliated to adequate ‘Rich’ NGOs that do sponsor ‘good profile’ students in the particular school.

You know, UG mostly get scholarship as form of assistantships while Graduate get Funding and co.
So, limited options for them.

The VOs know about it, reason they hardly get ‘harsh’ using form of assistantship to judge their visa approval decision.

All they really want to know about UG applicants is that:

- ARE YOU GOING AT THE RIGHT AGE? (16 - 22)

- ARE YOU GOING FOR A CONVINCING COURSE OF STUDY? (Something like dual- degree is advisable) not course you can easily earn a degree in 9ja or somewhere ‘near’.

- WHO DEY FOR YOU? Sponsor. Ofc, your parents should be your primary sponsor in this case.
