ToughGuy111: Welcome to this path. Personally, I don’t know much about Law. So,: 2) Not really. Reason being you’re from a country where English is their major language. Like, 6/10 schools would easily waive English test for you, since you’re a Nigerian. But you can write and have it to boast your profile. 3) The best bet is to have anything 3.0 and above on a scale of 4.0. But still it’s USA, we’ve schools that go low as far as accepting 2.75 and above, but sincerely on a scale of 4.0 is what most (not all) schools works on. Ofc, most 9ja schools works on 5.0 scale, you don’t have to worry about that, there are bodies of result evaluation that convert your results for you to 4.0 scale. Omotola222: No. You don’t need to submit before requesting. I do advise 1 month to interview day for filing on ds160. Because of how complicated the form is. Ds160 “plenty for mouth”, so please take your precious time to fill before submission. Goodluck! |

excel1960: Which of the schools? Application against which session? Fill form? Or you fill all the application process? Where you submitted this and that (Resume, Transcript and co). After the filling and submission of all the requirements, you should receive email from the school that your application is now completed and you’re now to be on admission decision process. Admission decision actually do take ‘time’, some 2weeks; 2months; 1week; 1month depending on the particular school. So, you’ve to reach out to them to know if they receive your application and what next and/or how long are you to wait for decision. PS: In this path, the best bet is to apply to minimum of 5 schools. So that expectation would be from “here and there” not just ‘here’, to avoid heartbreak. Lol. Shalom! 4 Likes 1 Share |

Yasiin: The 60days EA application rule is the rule. Just wait! If you apply for EA before then, you would easily get an EA denial message after few mind of the EA application, e no hard them to send denial message. So calm down and wait!!! Good luck |

Babnxst93: Yeah, you can actually ‘can’. Lol Just find something like a SEVIS ID (maybe of someone else (a friend) or just look at the SEVIS ID format and come up with something like it) No biggie; No crime; No penalty. When you get yours, you’d just go update it on the portal back. That’s all.! sanyamike: You would have to create your account statement n cgi portal ( https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/scheduleappointment?sfdcIFrameOrigin=null ) After, you make payment via GTBANK or on GTBank mobile app (N67,200). You need; your passport deets to fill the payment form. After the payment, you go back to your cgi portal to update your payment transaction receipt. After the update, you would be seeing the available visa interview dates. PS: While creating the portal your might see an error message of not being able to create. Send the below email to their support system: Email: support-nigeria@ustraveldocs.com Subject: Please help me create cgifederal account from your end. Body: Good day, Please I’m unable to create an account, i have been getting an error message. With a good profile from you; you’d get ‘something good’ from these schools. philip2014: Big congratulations. This is a big win for you. Firstly, you have to request for your i20 (student docs) from the school’s International students program. Then you pay for your SEVIS FEE ($360 can only be paid in USA) after the collection of your i20 (because it’s required while filling the SEVIS fee coupon). Then you set up your CGI portal (visa page) and pay for your visa fee (it’s can only be paid in GTBANK or via GTBank Mobile). Then you start for VISA INTERVIEW DATE search. PS: it’s might look straight forward but sincerely you need to act on them in and on time. Again, congratulations. PS: If you need ‘help’ on not getting any of the above, you can reach out. This chat is for them to connect the dot, see if there’s a fit & whether you will make a good candidate The following content will give an overview of the meeting and some questions you can/should ask the Professor to show research curiosity. SO, LET'S GO. 1. The PROF gives a brief overview of the lab, him/herself, current and past research- Here, the PI tells you everything you need to know (pertaining to the meeting). 2. Your turn- Please be specific. “I’m Adewale, my BSc was in Civil Engineering from Yakuza Kamakuna University, for my research under the supervision of Dr. James, I focused on nonlinearity of hydrological system & published in Elsevier journal or presented at DEF conference”. Sombaby11: Firstly, congratulations on your new phase. Now, what was the reason for your denials? What’s change/d from then or what would change in your next application? Answer those honestly first to yourself. Then with that you’d know if you’re good to go again before even thinking of going with hubby. The best best is to go after one and other, maybe at least months different (best bet not only bet), just to have HOME TIES in your home country. Like, you the.
