What happened to referring people to Page 1? Things have changed oh |
Congrats, your score are great. From your simulation, it seems you have 2 years of work experience. That's fine. A few questions for you. Your IELTS, is it General or Academics? If General, what was your target score? I believe you had a score in mind when writing it. Well, if it's for EE you were interested, your score is good to go. lilyanzee: |

That's the advice given. Always write your Listening and Reading answers in capital letters. It makes your writing clearer OgechiBae: |

Hmmn. This Part 5 is moving really fast, and it is filled with basic questions. I posted this in Part 4, let me do it again: For all those who are just joining, I think this might help. ● Acquaint yourself with the acronyms used. It took me over a week to understand all the acronyms apart from ITA, IELTS and EE. I kept going to page zero everytime I heard AOR, ECA, COPR, PPR, POF, PR, GCMS etc. ● You can't run away from Page 1. Pls read it. ● Compartmentalize your stuff. First know all you need to get ITA, as you are at it, you would get to know what is required for PPR. However, still get the overview. ● You don't have to read through everything. Some stuff doesn't concern you, just pass. If you don't need ACCA, don't bother when those that need it are discussing about F1-F4. ● Ask direct questions; people are more likely to respond to direct questions. Rather than asking 'pls tell me how to get ITA' if you ask 'is it possible to get an ITA a day after creating and submitting your profile?' someone would definitely respond. ● You can get lots of info here and for free. An alumnus of your Uni may be here and have the contact of the guy in charge of transcripts and that would help you a great deal. Una well done oh, our people of this group. You guys are the best |
Thank you so much, ChyG. Someone here gave me another contact. Yeah, I've heard of Mr. Ogolo. I'll consider him if the other one doesn't pull through. ChyG: |
Thanks..... Well appreciated. I printed it from their website. The problem was with the way the fingerprints were collected. You know it's the rolling type, which is kind of technical. Yeah, I'll redo it. Nono16: |
I'll appreciate your contact. I did 5 sets myself and none was accepted. Let me PM you. DonTee07: |
For details of the FBI PCC, see https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/united-states.html. For how to send your fingerprints, what they need is the imprint, so a scanned copy will NOT be appropriate. You should send directly to the FBI or through someone who is traveling there. It's more convenient though to send via courier. Bello321: |
Feeling sad. The FBI rejected my Fingerprints which I needed for PCC. I prepared 5 sets of fingerprint cards myself after watching videos on Youtube. Please has anyone in Port Harcourt used security personnel to obtain fingerprints? A contact will be appreciated. PS: I had to repost since my earlier post may have been lost in the celebration. The house is yet to recover from Newmum's announcement of yesterday. |

Congrats, Newmum. The moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived. |
I think so too. Although not because of the IELTS. You see the last draw, 2 IELTS results were released and there was so much fear that the cut-off would increase unless the number is increased from 3750 to 4000. But we saw that despite 2 IELTS results, and same 3750 people taken, the cut-off still dropped by 1 point, from 442 to 441. If we still have a 2-weeks interval, the cut-off will be 439 or 440. I just pray they don't give a 3-weeks interval in August. The last time they did that was in May with 5 wednesdays. August has 5 wednesdays, so I pray they don't skip a Wednesday and still achieve 2 draws per month. Although the scenario in May and August are different. In May if there was a May 2nd draw, there would have been a May 16th and May 30th, so they had to skip one. But in August, 2 draws can still take place with the current 2-weeks trend; an August 8th draw followed by 22nd draw is still fine. If that is the case, August 22nd draw may even get to 437 (the lowest score this year). The conclusion is that the scores generally have a downward trend unless a week is skipped. Engr2000: |
Hi bibi2017, I just sent a PM. bibi2017: |
I know. CONGRATS to you too. o2: |
Thanks. It was apparently smooth because of lots of info I got from this group. I had to read virtually every page from Part 1 to Part 3 when I joined. Thank you all. wizean: |

Thank you oh. rchilee: |
My ITA story. First heard about EE- April 8th 2018. Submitted credentials for ECA (me and spouse)- May 4th 2018 Wrote IELTS -12th May: LRWS 9,7,7,7.5 (only attempt) Spouse wrote IELTS- 2nd June LRWS 7,8,7,8 (only attempt as well). ECA spouse out- 10th July My ECA out- 12th July 2018. CRS- 444 (We narrowly missed the July 11th draw with cut-off 442). If today's draw had been higher than 444, then the village people would have won. My people, rejoice with me. |
Feels so good. ITA finally here. I read it, it feels like PPR, it feels like COPR. ITA, here we come. I'll share my story in a bit. Pardon my excitement (for ordinary ITA) mosky47: |
Waiting for my mail. ITA mail please come quickly. I'm so grateful to everyone on this platform |
When I first saw their email that my document was rejected my heart skipped, until I saw where they said I didn't need to notarize it and I could scan and send via email. fatiah: |
Good news for me!! My certificate has now been verified. I have now applied for ECA. Timeline (to help others) Documents sent to MCC- May 4 Received - May 9 Viewable online- May 14 Under review - June 4 Reviewed and not accepted- June 4. This was due to a part of the certificate not showing on the photocopy Another photocopy sent via email- June 4 Reviewed and accepted- June 29 Ready for ECFMG submission- June 29 Submitted to ECFMG- June 30 Verification returned (passed)- July 6 I kept contacting them via chat on a weekly basis to know the status of my application. I'm glad I've gone pass this stage. The photocopying error caused me an extra 4 weeks. Thank you all. fatiah: |
Too many good news today. It's so good to come here at the end of the day to read testimonies upon testimonies. There is no better way to celebrate these good news than having a public holiday tomorrow. I hereby declare tomorrow a work-free day. Please use it to relax and refresh yourselves. God bless you all. Congrats!!! |
You're very right. Dear silent reader, your post might just encourage someone Tojued: |
True. There has been an increase in people on this thread who are asking for information for a friend. Well, what can I say? There has also been an increase in people who have a discrepancy between 'real age' and 'passport age'. Just my observation. capsule: |
